If I could give zero stars, I would. I drove 35 minutes to C.B. Perkins to make a donation--they accept cigar box donations, and I wanted to support that. I walked in during open hours (3PM, confirmed by the sign and their online info) and was greeted by a young employee. When I asked about donating, he told me he was eating and asked me to leave and come back in 10 minutes because he didn't want anyone "breathing on his food." Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for service--I was offering a donation. And instead of simply setting his food aside for a minute like any professional would, he sent me away. I recently went to C.B. Perkins on Main Street in Hyannis, MA--a tobacco shop/lounge where I used to go often when my family owned a summer place in that town. In the past, the people working there were very knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. This time, after buying two cigars from the rather uncommunicative man who was working there, I asked if I could use the bathroom. The man said "yes." After a few minutes, the man rapped on the door of the bathroom. When I came out, he angrily said to me: "The bathroom is for piss, not for shit!" Not seeing the need to reply to such a crude and silly statement, I decided to buy nothing else and just leave. As I left, I tried to be more courteous than he had been, and said: "I'll see you again." His response was: "I hope not." I don't know how a shop can treat customers like that and stay in business. Maybe it's not doing well. The few people who came in when I was there were buying only cigarettes--not cigars which sell at a considerably higher mark-up. If this man was an employee, he should be fired. If he's the proprietor, he should consider finding another way to earn a living. read more

Hands down the crappiest smoke shop on the cape. Directly across the street is Vape Way that is clean, friendly, open when they say they are open, and do t have a complete and total burnout running their store. I tried to go to CB Perkins yesterday and drove over 35 min before they closed... but when I got there they had decided to close early... They then put a sign up today saying that they are closing for the weekend... Wow... great customer service and business acumen! Just stay away from this place and go across the street where you won't feel like a jerk for trying to be a customer. Two thumbs DOWN. read more

Very bad place owner of the place is from India We wanted to buy something from them and the owner was there and he discriminated us from his language he thought I don't understand his language he said we are not allowed in the store because we are Asian. He was saying in his language to his son that he don't like Asian people. Can he do that??? if he have a sing that says Asian people are not allowed than we won't go there but there is no sing... I wouldn't recommend anyone to go this place, I know many other places, they have good price, and way better customer services than this stupid place. read more

Extremely rude and dismissive customer service or lack there of it moreso. The employees act as though you are doing them a favor by giving them your business. On numerous occasions the owner has been blatantly rude for me when asking for help selecting cigars. I will take my business elsewhere in the future. read more

This business double charged my debit card thinking it was a credit card and I would not notice until my statement came in. I purchased a pipe for 44 dollars. When I went to my debit card activity the same day, they had charged my card for two transactions for 44 dollars each. If you shop at this merchant's store, check your charges. read more

Don't waste your time! Poor selection of cigars and liquor. No longer a friendly inviting atmosphere. Furniture was distasteful and did not match. Humidor humidifier was not on. The owner had little to no knowledge of his liquor inventory and the beer dispenser, dispensed more foam than beer! Stated, if we brought a second round, the drinks would be stronger, then reneged when we were ready to buy the second round. Clearly a money grab with no interest in making guests feel comfortable or welcome. Had a great time 2yrs ago with the previous owner and was looking forward to another great time, only to be truly disappointed. Never going back.! read more

This place sucks. Girl inside was so rude. Just parked my car and looking around and she told me I couldn't park there. Didn't even ask me if i was going to her store. No wonder the place is empty. Bought my Ashtons at Puffs much nicer people. So I parked somewhere else and spent my money somewhere else. This place must be a front because according to all the reviews they don't want any business. If I owned the place this girl would be fired. The owner of this establishment is so rude . He has a god complex and thinks he's better than everyone . He's rude to his employees . Anytime I've been in there and puff the magic it's the same employees at both places . I asked the young man who worked at the other location "don't you get a day off " ? . Not sure why all the bad reviews; I have had nothing but good experiences here. Cigars are fresh and staff helpful and knowledgeable. Tell them what you like and will provide a variety of options. The prices are on par. Less expensive then Puff. I find Puff snobby.... read more

What a dump. Went in to get some cigars for poker night. Aside from having a poor selection of dried out old cigars, the clerk was not only unhelpful but went out of his way to be rude and insulting. Stay away spend your money somewhere else. read more

owner bragged about his low prices quoted me 17.99 then over charged me by 5.00 on each item I bought no receipt no recourse never again

I went to purchase an item from them and the kid that works there presented the device as being a new updated model. He pointed how well it works, the updates the new model had and the accessories. What he hid at the time of sale was that it was a new model package with old components in it. When it was brought back to be returned, he was rude and argumentative, lied about his sales tactics and refused to reimburse. He scammed me and was selling fake products in new packaging. From what other people in the business have told me this is common practice for them and they have been ripping people off for a long time. Do not buy from them, they sell faulty equipment, lie and overcharge. Go elsewhere read more

this is a storefront for something other than cigars. inventory is stale. the man behind the counter leered at me without a greeting as if i should not be in there. i was attempting to buy some cigars for my husband. when i asked him if he had a certain cigar he said "no good, i have better deal...buy these...much better deal!" he shoved them in my face and was standing closer than anyone other than my husband should stand. i jolted back and i said that i thought they smelled funny almost like cow manure ...and i think he must have thought i was talking about him. (perhaps unwittingly, i was) he looked at me like i had insulted his mother! i asked why he didn't have my husband's brand and he yelled "go! we don't carry!" not sure how they operate shops in pakistan, but this guy has no business being in business. read more
