When the owner called me he said "Did you shop around we are the cheapest" And no we didn't because we had you install a faucet several weeks back that we supplied and the bill was $400.! So being loyal to local business was a priority. How wrong we were. He said if they are working fine then wait it out. I then joined the "Advantage Services Club", whereby I get high priority for a service call; included in the fee is an annual tune-up of the system. "Peace of mind" working with the second largest Plumbing/Heating service in the ROC area. Second "no charge" home visit was to assess how I should increase the heat in the basement (for a guest room). Once again Steve offered several "work around" options that did not cost much. The service call in May will take care of the suggestions. No charge for expert advice; no pressure to buy anything. Do not confuse a new company who are trying to get customers with a look alike company name: Betlem Residential Heating. I don't like that approach.

This is the second time I have experienced this from this company. It's an extended warranty type scam. RUN don't walk away from this company. Complete and total fraud.

I asked him to tell me the size so I could run to Lowes to get one for him to install. He gave ne the size and I drove and purchased the size he indicated. When I returned, he told me he 'found one' in the corner of he basement and installed it. He then left. I took the new filters down to place them near the furnace for the next change, and found that he had put an oversized filter in the slot, leaving 5 inches protruding from the filter slot. This is shoddy work. He was too lazy to measure the correct filter size, and took a shortcut so he could leave. I measured the filter slot for the correct size, and did the trip back to Lowes for the proper filter. I wouldn't recommend them.

As an example, Halco ( heating company) came out on an emergency on a Sunday last year, couldn't fix it and charged me $150! Why didn't I call them, you ask, I was out of town and my partner took care of this. Halco was out on other emergencies, so they couldn't come out. I just can't see how this company can justify that amount of money? BTW, Dan, my now main heating guy, came out on Monday and was able to do a temporary FIX for a $125!!! The house required a new unit and he put one in one Wednesday, at such a fair price! No fix $639 vs. temp fix $125.!!!!!!
