I was really impressed! I'm super critical about my feet, especially in the summer and after being laid up for 3 months after leg surgery my feet looked like I could swoop down and drag fish out of the ocean! I'm from Cincinnati and by the time I was able to "walk" again I didn't have time to get my talons taken care of before I left. I was so happy with the service, price and ambiance. I had to be very careful with my treatment since my surgery incision was still not completely healed. And the gentleman who was working on me was very conscious of this and took every precaution to make sure my incision wasn't compromised or anything would possibly hurt it. A male technician was called over and told me my nails were too thin and that it was due to "poor circulation," and that I needed to exercise more to improve it. That is not accurate. I work in pharmacy and regularly see people of all ages with healthy nails -- including elderly patients -- so that explanation didn't make sense. What was unacceptable was how he chose to speak to me. Instead of simply saying he couldn't safely buff them, he gave unsolicited health advice and then told me I should be "thankful I have both arms and legs because some people do not." That comment was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and honestly insulting. I came in for a simple service and left in tears, paying $20 for something that was not completed as requested. There is a respectful way to communicate limitations to a client. This was not it.
