Unless he's been seriously injured or has been kidnapped, this man and his company are flaky and unreliable (even by contractor standards). I called him on July 14th, he confirmed he would come to my home to give me a bid on replacing a 61 foot long / 7 foot tall redwood fence on July 16th at 2PM. He asked me to text him a confirmation and my home address, which I did. Thursday at 2PM came and when he still wasn't there at 2:45PM I called him (no answer) and left word. I also texted him... three times. I also left him a voice message three hours after he didn't show up just saying that I hoped he was OK and to please let me know that he was. That was over two weeks ago and I've yet to hear back from him. I'm not sure why he completely flaked on me with no communication or apology. But I did take two days off work to be present for various contractors who were coming to bid on several jobs that needed doing at my house. My time is no more precious than anyone else's and I totally understand that things happen, but not showing up and NEVER contacting me after numerous texts and calls is just disrespectful and a very poor reflection of this man and his company's follow through skills. Unreliable, irresponsible and flaky aren't words that I want to use to describe someone who would have been building a major project at my home. read more

Unfortunately when we wanted to hire him again at our new house in Monrovia, we found out he was pretty much retired. My wife then researched Yelp for someone new and found C-Cure. Roger and his company had glowing reviews and I'm happy to say they're true. He is professional, affordable, and punctual. He was also very friendly to us and our baby son, which is a great bonus. Due to a mistake I made (I accidentally bought the wrong kind of stain for him to use) he and his employee, whose name I forget but who was also great, had to return another day to finish staining. C-Cure Fence have excellent communication, a high work ethic, and great results. From estimate to completion, it was a simple process working with Roger and his crew. I needed a new chain link fence installed in my back yard and an existing one extended in my side yard. Then, a mesh privacy screen needed to be hung up, with 8' x 6' rolled bamboo panels over that. Fairly simple stuff in theory. However, because the side yard fence is built into a retaining wall, hanging up the bamboo could have been an ordeal since it wouldn't rest on the ground.
