I made an appointment a week ago for 6 people. We get there and every one of the nail techs we had were not very friendly. Also, I was told that bc we had over 5 people, we would revive $5 off and 5% if paying cash. This was not the case. My daughter is 5. They told me hers would cost $15-$20... I was charged $38. She was completely finished with her toes and nails long before we were onto manis. The whole process for all of us was very rushed. I did dip nails and had to come home to file them more bc most were uneven. Very overpriced and not true to their word. This place came highly recommended and maybe they had wonderful people helping them, but the 6 of us all had a not so wonderful experience and we will never be back. read more

I love CK Nails! I especially love Sou - she does such an amazing job, you can tell she strives for perfection with your nails. She makes it easy for me to schedule appointments by reaching her directly and I barely wait any time at all when I arrive. Would highly recommend her. I've been getting my manicures and pedicures done here for a while now. Sometimes they get really busy and run behind but other than that I have only wonderful things to say about this place! 2nd visit not as professional... Atmosphere was pleasant the staff is nice but apparently running out of hot water for pedicures is a problem. Instead of telling me that they are unable to give a pedicure she just informed me that the water will be a little warm :-(. A Luke warm pedicure just isn't that relaxing. read more

I waited over an hour to get the dip powder on my nails. The tech got the liquid all over my fingers so when they were dipped the powder hardened and we couldn't get it off. I left feeling like I had scrapped my nails in the dirt and had stuff stuck under all of them. I spent the evening picking it out. Horrible experience. I went with a friend and we both signed in at the same time. I should've known not to go here since the last time I came my acrylics were super thick for my liking. My friend got her full set started first and I sat by her. No other technician came and asked me or checked the sign in sheet. I waited 10 minutes until a girl asked me and then offered me a seat at a table. I just took off press on nails and had glue residue left in my nails and she didn't even buff them. She then proceeded to apply my white tips and some aren't even the right size. Then the acrylic was put on but not close enough to my cuticle so they started lifting 2 days after. Called today and the manager said that they would fix them but I don't want them fixed but removed and then a refund. No refund was given so now I'm out $40 plus tip. I don't recommend this place! read more

Guess I spoke too soon about disappointment... went with my mother to get mani pedis. They were pretty packed but I had called and scheduled beforehand an appointment for us. Anyways, pedi was pretty satisfactory, got a French tip with just a tiny silver glitter LINE under it (I've literally seen the "design" nail polish at the dollar store). The nails on the other hand .... was very very rushed. So rushed that my white tips looked lopsided and weren't even, and the glitter lines would be heavy on one side of the nail and extremely faint on the other, also lopsided. I got what's called a dip gel mani. Also they moved me to three different chairs during just my mani .... to accommodate other customers. I feel like part of that was to do with my age. I doubt they'd ask someone older in their 50's+ to move to three different chairs while in the middle of it all. Not to mention to get French tip on both my feet and hands and also a glitter LINE under them was an extra $25.... not including the actual service pricing. My total literally came to $100 not including tip. I figured those things would be extra but $25?... i think that's a bit extreme, not to mention It would've been nice to know beforehand... Two days later one of the nails snapped off. They felt flimsy as it was, not sure if they are suppose to feel that way or not I've never had them. So I WILL say i called and told them about it and they offered for me to come in and they fix it, which they did and it looks good as new so I'm hoping they all stay ok! I would go back for a pedi, they have amazing massage chairs haha. I can't say I'd go back for a mani though unfortunately. read more

Just got home from taking my daughters to get a mani/pedi. The nails turned out good but BEWARE they asked my 15 year old daughter if she wanted a royal pedi and she did not understand so she said, " yes regular". Well, they gave her the royal. When I went to pay, the owner knew that I did not understand that they gave her the royal. She kept saying they asked you if it was ok. VERY SHADY!!! They should have said, "Hey, the royal pedi is 45.00 are you ok with that?" NEVER was the price mentioned. I agreed to upgrade all our manicures to a gel, I did not agree to any upgraded pedi. The owner made a big deal at check out about paying for it "out of her own pocket" because she felt bad. The money out of her pocket added up to be 7.00 off my bill. My mani/pedi= 58.00, daughter number 1=58.00, daughter 2=85.00 then after her "generous display of taking it out of her own pocket" (in front of a packed room of waiting costumers) the bill came to 77.00 for daughter 2. THERE ARE NO POSTED PRICES IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I would suggest 1. Post your prices and communicate them to your costumers 2. Instruct your employees to ask the person paying for permission to updrade a service 3. If you are the owner don't announce "It's coming out of my own pocket" when you are trying to rectify a situation. Needless to say, we will not be returning to CK NAILS!!! read more

Manager does not stand behind the quality of work. If there is a mistake one would hope they would fix it. I paid $98.00 for mani/pedi gel on both- 2 different tech -gel on hands stated peeling within 1 week. Can you believe the Manager would not redo without charging me again! Two of my friends and I were looking for a nail salon and ended up here. I normally read reviews, but this one I didn't. They close at 7, and we got there at 6:30. We all wanted mani/pedi's. First, they were rushing us to choose a color. If you decided to accept our business, then we should be entitled to take a reasonable amount of time to decide on our colors. The guy who did my nails didn't speak English, so Tammy (I believe) had to translate what I wanted. I wasn't as concerned with my feet (it's cold outside), but my nails are a different story. I got gel polish (and this wasn't my first time). I knew while he was polishing my nails that he didn't know what I wanted but it's now 7:45, so I figured I go back and talk to the manager (they were closed Sunday, so I went today). My issues were simple, the nails were messy, he didn't polish the top or sides completely on my nails, but on some sides he OVER polished. I asked for glitter on some of the nails, but he put it on damn near on all of them!!! The managers rebuttal was that he would "clean" them up. I just paid you $75 w/tip for this BS, the very least that you offer is to re-do them! I will NEVER patronize this company, nor recommend it. If your employee makes a mistake, fix it! That's how you retain the business of first time customers. On another note, I think her name was Donna, but she did the nails of one of my friends and they were AMAZING, too bad that she works for this company because we'll never go back. Smh read more

I was not impressed at all. the entire time I was getting my nails done all the techs kept talking Chinese non stop and being loud and laughing. It was very annoying and rude. I was charged $3 additional dollars for a "cut down" when she barely did anything and I was not told about the additional price or I would have filed them myself. My balance looks awful, she only put top coat on one time. It was a complete waste of $36. I will never go back there. read more

Went to CK Nails yesterday after work to have a pedicure. It was very busy in the salon, and I asked an older lady who came to the desk (believe that she was the manager) how long for a pedicure? The lady started speaking in another language to one of her co- workers and didn't answer my question, this was rude. Then this lady said in English to me to follow her co-worker back and this co-worker just took a customer back who was in front of me in line for a pedicure too. I did and explained to this co-worker that I was told to follow her back. She was a little surprised. My feet soaked for over a half hour, and the lady did half of my pedicure, and then told me that I had to wait because another customer who had a scheduled appointment needs her pedicure. Not sure how long this lady waited before she went back. Wanted to leave right then because I felt she was rude too, but at that point, my pedicure was half done and felt trapped. Later the lady came back and rushed getting my pedicure done. Was at CK nails for almost 1 1/2 hours and my pedicure was only fair. Many people were waiting, very upset - some with appointments and some without appointments. I do understand that it is prom time, etc.. but to tell customers that they should have made an appointment when they accept walk- ins to me is very rude. Suggestion to this salon, at busy times, have more staff working, or call people to come in to help. I feel that your nail specialists should answer questions and let people know about an approximate waiting time, or even suggest to the customers to make an appointment, or come back another time. I would have been fine with that and respected the situation at that time. Very poor customer service and I won't be going back. CK Nails, please realize mistreating customers that your business will eventually go under. read more
