However after about a Year the Railings started to peel the Paint and I called the Company and the owner told me that it would be taken care of,he sent his Son Greg to look at the railings and said that he would be back to sand and take care of it for Me. Since that day I have made numerous calls to take care of this and finally was told by Greg that he was an erector and not a Painter, he should have told me that at the beginning and I would have gone to someone else!! The day after our one-year warranty expired, the gate stopped working completely and Delta would not answer the phone or return calls from members or our community. We had to contact a different company, who showed us that the installation was actually defective as Delta installed a bar that was too short, and as a result could not keep a vital component in place properly. Now we have to pay for a costly repair and our lot is wide open for creeps and bums to skulk around late at night.
