I was looking for the fancy feast shreds, tilted cat bowls and a box of purée cat treats. I usually shop at Petco due to the variety of food and supplies sections, but after a long day I was tired and my husband suggested that I shop there since Petco is further. My husband said asked me was I buying anything, I told him no that I was going to check on the car. I didn't want to say out loud that the store didn't have what I wanted. It's a new store so I'm sure they will get more supplies soon. The woman at the register told my husband "I hope your little friend didn't steal anything because you two will not be able to shop here again and I will call the police. When my husband came to the car and told me what she said I was upset because I was nice, I didn't give her any reason to believe I was going to steal. I just didn't see what I wanted, I have a picky cat with a sensitive stomach. I don't steal and I never experienced this in no other pet store. I've been to so many pet stores for my cat and dogs and none of the pet stores treated me like this pet shop did. The woman assumed I was stealing because I am a black woman who couldn't find what I wanted in the store. My husband shopped there a few times and thought I should give the store a try and the woman treated me horribly and I am a sweet person who would never steal, I have money I have no reason to steal. We went to another store and I found everything my cat needed. I don't recommend anyone shop here especially black and Hispanic people because she's going to accuse you of stealing.

Fast forward to his last visit the Tuesday before Christmas 2025. I asked the groomer (Billie) how was he and she assured me he was great she even gave me a report card. The next day when my sister came over she was playing with Gideon and I noticed something under his left Arm on his chest like he was cut. When I checked he was raw like he was cut. Of course I took pictures and I reached out to the store. The manager said he would review the video and he saw nothing that would indicate Gideon getting hurt. They do not ever have to worry about taking my puppy there ever. I would've respected them if they were honest because I know things can happen. What I don't respect is being lied to like I'm an idiot.

The staff at acc is caring and there were volunteers who assisted. The acc sells dogs and cats and rabbits. Cubs was a stray and acc neutered him and provided rabies shots and fed and monitored him for two weeks until we adopted him. We were able to bring him home the same day.
