Our family's tradition with Gerhard's bakery has spanned generations. They even specialize in custom cakes and wedding cakes. HOURS - 11am-4pm - Wednesday to Sunday. DELIVERY - They're on Hungry Panda and Fantuan delivery. They also accept Alipay. They serve High Tea with takeout options available and can accommodate sugar-free dietary restrictions for people with diabetes by notifying them in advance of your visit. That's a unique thing about Gerhard's Bakery, their sugar-free cake, streudel and cookie options for people who are diabetic. They seem to offer a few food choices for breakfast and lunch, but since I was just looking for a place to hang out for 90 minutes, I was going to be "minimal patron". I thought about another coffee, but decided against it, since I already had double the caffeine I usually consume before noon, I opted for the "cheapest" choice, in the form of a Perrier. However, I did find their desserts to be really great. Found their tofu cream cheese cake and green tea chiffon cake really delicious. Their prices also were a bit overpriced. The lotus has that nice cookie flavor and crunch while the Dubai chocolate with pistachio offers that chocolate and nutty flavor. I prefer the latter but both are good. We also got a matcha strawberry latte to go. Both really nice to look at and to drink. The matcha has good flavor without being overly bitter while the strawberry provides that fruity sweetness to the drink. Overall, it's a pricier experience but I enjoyed it and will be back.

I would definitely come back. The lady at the front desk is very nice and you can ask for more espresso shots if it is too sweet or other preference you have is usually honest free of charge.

After ordering and grabbing our drinks, the staff informed us that they can give extra coffee if it's not strong enough for us - what a great service they have.
