My appointment was for ear candling as I had been having issues with not being able to clear my ears for a few months. Detoxity uses two candles per ear and performs lymphatic massage after the candling. Ann was very professional and friendly. After we finished she showed me what the ear candling had produced. After my service was complete she gave me a tour of their facility which was very nice and they offer some different services that your typical spa does not. After undergoing surgery, I was medically instructed to undergo a minimum of 6 post operative lymphatic messages. I went to the first massage and developed blistered due to an improper position by the masseuse. My doctor immediately instructed my to terminate services with this medspa given concern of improperly carrying out postoperative protocol and inadequate sanitation. Consequently, the medspa is refusing to refund me for the balance despite physician orders. I hope no one ever has to go thru the mishandling of this business. read more

Went in for the float tank and was disappointed. The lights inside the tank don't turn off. The water would get hot then cold over and over. The shower never gets warm and is icy cold and you are required to shower before getting in. The tank has a low lid and it gets super humid and stale air inside because the vents don't work. PLEASE BE CAREFUL USING THEM FOR MEDICAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE OR MASSAGES!!!! I am 3 weeks post op from a tummy tuck, 360 lipo and BBL. They never asked me what procedures I had done. I went in for a one time 30 min massage which was only done with cavitation no manual massage at all.. that service was $75 which I tipped 15%. I give the lady at the front my credit card and she charged my card for a package on some Cryotherapy and Osauna therapy that I did not approve and to which my doctor stated that those procedures can not be done when patients have a tummy tuck or fat transfer being post op only 3 weeks. They charged my card for $2500 with 15% tip . None of the procedures were done .... Now that I've called the office and went over to talk to someone they are telling me the business NEVER REFUND anyone and they don't give out owner's name or info... Shady for business. Sorry but this is not good for business especially when services we not rendered... I will be getting my money back even if I have to file a claim. This is not okay. Nobody ever talked and describe any treatment to me. ... This is not Lymphatic Massages for post op patients. Extremely disappointing experience. And not for the massage itself, per-say. I booked a one hour lymphatic massage. I completed my paper work online and I arrived on time. The therapist led me in to the massage room gave me brief instructions, and seeing as this was my first real lymphatic massage (which I informed her) there really was very little information given, even when I asked questions. The therapist decided to perform a service with the hivamat. She told me it was equivalent to a one hour lymphatic massage (more than once) and that she would only work on me for 30 minutes. She never mentioned the price or gave me a choice. I think that's the most troubling part. The entire process was uninformative and very rushed. I later found out it was because she needed to go take a "power nap". At check out, I found out the cost was $100, the same price I was expecting, but I knew I had a 5% discount with yelp OR I had originally planned to purchase 3 sessions for $270. HOWEVER, they would not honor the discount (after waiting 10 minutes to "get approval") because I received a service that is $200 for 30 minutes, but just happened to be on special at a 50% savings. Additionally, I waited for approval from the manager...who's picture online says the girl who needed the approval IS the manager. You might want to fix that. I briefly thought about giving you two stars because you have a beautiful facility, but the service is what I came for. Since I can not reply to your comment: Untruthful, perhaps, if you are not the manager. I presume my therapist was the manager, you. I could be wrong about that. I was informed by the other therapist and it was NOT disputed by the front desk girl that the manager was taking a power nap. And I quote "My manager gets to go take a power nap. I'm so jealous." (Said from therapist) Additionally, I was obviously not clearly informed that there would be a second session. Honestly, that isn't something I would be interested in at this point. Additionally, if the 5% is not still offered, then it should be removed from yelp. While I appreciate your willingness to finish the second session after my leaving a horrible review, I'm simply not interested and will take my business elsewhere. Your intention may have been to give a generous discount, but the communication of the service, no presentation of service and costs, etc left me feeling violated as a customer. read more

Love to get lymphatic massages and colonics here. Satye and her staff are great. I have some slight lymphedema after having lymph nodes removed post breast cancer surgery. Whenever I'm feeling and looking swollen or puffy I can always count on Detoxity Spa to get me back to normal. This is where I come to get peace and balance for my mind and body. The jazz music is flowing. The essential oil diffusers are going. It's easy to relax and fall asleep here. In fact I have several times. I found Detoxity in May after doctors couldn't help reduce the sudden swelling in my legs and feet after a flight. Ruled out blood clots etc. I'm 35 and in great shape. Not professional, very scammy. I called looking for more information on their colonics, described my current medical conditions, asked if it could help, the tech said yes. They were going to set me up with a same day apt, but needed me to talk to one of their nurses to pay $54 for a RX for the colonic, that I could not take with me, but could only use for 6 months at their facility. They made me pay for the $54 RX and a $50 deposit, total of $104 before even walking in the door. I logged onto the zoom link with the nurse, who didn't even show her face, so a phone call would have been sufficient, to learn that I was not eligible for the apt due to my health history. The same history I told the tech about. I asked for a refund for the full $104, the nurse agreed. I called the front desk back, explained the situation, she agreed to process the refund as well. Then I get a call back from the tech who tries to bully me into a $50 refund and that I had to pay for the zoom apt that lasted all of 30 seconds and no RX was even written because I wasn't "eligible". After much back and forth the full refund was given back to me. So much hassle for an apt that never even happened. I wouldn't waste your time at this place. Find a better place that is more trustworthy and not just looking to cash in on you. read more

I booked a lymphatic massage praying for some relieve from pain in breast area and lymph nodes in arm pits that have been causing me pain for months. The total the massage was $100 not including tips and to book the appointment I put $50 down toward the massage and filled out intake forms online before arriving. I was also informed to drink water before and after the massage. The spa was also able to have an open appointment the day I called luckily. I've never had this kind of massage and I unfortunately do not remember the name of my therapist but she was amazing and had been in the industry for a long time. The Hivamat was used and it was explained to me is a to be used as a deep oscillation system that provides reduction of pain, swelling and relaxation of the muscles it's equivalent to an hour long massage but only last about 30 minutes. I held a metal piece for the entirety of the massage and a small metal piece vibrated and was moved around several areas of my body by the massage therapist. I felt amazing after the massage so much more energy, more alert, I had more frequent need to go to the restroom and physically have felt better for a week after the massage! I highly recommend having them done often !! Also the room was beautiful and dim with a massage table in the middle and had soothing lights and our conversation was flowing and easy and peaceful . The spa was beautiful and restrooms was nice and everything was super clean !! I hope to make it back soon! read more
