Great place. Great staff. Very friendly and they know what they're doing. Highly recommend.

    After Brazilian blowout
    Elena V.

I found this spot on Yelp but wasn't convinced to book with them. It wasn't until my co-worker recommended them that I booked my appointment with Millie. I opted for the Brazilian blowout along with a trim. My naturally curly hair has been super dry and the fact that I have very thin hair is always a concern for me. Once the treatment was completed I already felt like a new woman. If it couldn't get any better the trim only confirmed I made a great decision by booking here. I arrived feeling blah but left feeling wowed by how soft and silky my hair felt. If you're looking for a one stop shop...this is your place. Eye brows, hair, makeup, nails and a wax all in one shop. I couldn't have asked for more convenience and pampering in one place.

What a wonderful experience! I booked an appointment for my 27 year old son to get a haircut. His hair was down to the middle of his back. Millie did a fantastic job. I was Very impressed with the salon. Please give this place a try everyone was very friendly

This is the orange smudges and spots from Amira's Cryo Spa & Salon.

My cut was uneven and has smudges and spots of orange color throughout the roots of my hair. I do not suggest going to this place. I could have gotten a better haircut from my 3 year old niece. No joke. Stay clear of this place for anything hair related. I had to go to another salon to get issues fixed. These are pics my new stylist took. She couldn't believe the damage done to my hair. I was holding off leaving a negative review in hopes this salon would step up and do the right thing ... pay me back for damages. But they will not. Please you been given a true review. You can google my name. I'm not hard to find. I'm a real person and this salon destroyed my hair.

Millie did a great work on my hair. Beyond my expectations!!

For my birthday this year, my husband surprised me with a couple's massage at ZaSpa Memorial City…read more This was my first time visiting this ZaZa location since it opened in December, but needless to say, it lived up to its brand reputation! Unlike the ZaSpa in the Museum District, this one is quieter, smaller, and just feels more intimate. The locker rooms have only 10-12 lockers, so no more than a dozen people can be using the spa at one time, which I think highly contributes to the serenity of the spa. I was able to change into my robe and meet my husband in the relaxation lounge to enjoy some fruit flavored water, but minus 1 star for TVs in the relaxation lounge - I wanted to be without electronics when relaxing. Once our therapists arrived, we were escorted to our room, and we discussed which areas were of concern to each of us. I must have melted (perhaps even drooled) on the massage table. The massage made me feel as if there were no tension remaining in my body - I miss that feeling even as I'm writing this. When my therapist told me, "I hope you enjoyed it..." and continued with niceties, I had to quiet the voice in my head screaming "NO! It's over?!?! I'm not ready for the real world!" Trying to remain civil on the outside, I asked, "are you sure? Is my husband done too, because I'm happy to wait here for him." She smiled and assured me that my 50 minutes had passed. The truth isn't always easy to hear. We exited and were given a glass of champagne each to celebrate my birthday, which further added to the relaxation. Afterward, we each headed to our individual locker rooms and enjoyed the Infrared Saunas - if you have yet to try one, I highly recommend it. I found it more comfortable than a traditional sauna. This was a lovely start to my new year on Earth, and I hope to return soon - - what a magical place.

She was extremely knowledgeable about the skin and what your body is telling you through your skin. She did a great job and our faces looked and felt amazing after. The spa is a little hidden in a business office environment and it's no frills unlike other spas (i.e. You're not going to hang out in a tea room in a robe), however the place was very clean, cozy, smelled great, and each room was designed perfectly and had the proper cozy ambience. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this small business!

Would definitely consider coming back and recommend to anyone looking to try a new type of massage!

TLDR: Yes, yes. A thousand times, yes…read more In advance of our trip to Houston, I started watching food reviewers to get ideas of where to eat. That shifted my IG algorithm to include things to do...and I've never been happier. I saw a video depicting their Hammam treatment where you hang out in steam, they soap you up, and then exfoliate you. Never done it, asked the wife, and I booked it. Glad we did, phenomenal experience. Detailed step by step of our experience to help the uninitiated know what to expect. 1. Online booking. Simple, fast, requires 20% deposit. 10/10. 2. Confirmation text to check if I needed to reschedule. 10/10. 3. We arrived 10 minutes early. Front door was locked but the desk attendant let us in quickly and relocked the door. Considering the level of undress we were about to be in, 100% on board with that. 10/10. 4. Check in and sit in these awesome high-back padded chairs while we wait. 10/10. 5. Quickly greeted by the staff who will be providing our treatment and led to a small changing room. There they instruct us to strip down and put on disposable underwear, a nice robe, and slide on sandals. I'm a big guy, so they switched out the 3 items for bigger versions. I was happily surprised they had a 4XL robe and sandals to fit my size 16 feet. The paper underwear was made of the same material as a dentist bib/disposable surgical gown, and covered what boxers would cover-down to mid/lower thigh. Wife's paper undies were more like a string bikini bottom. We were not quite sure what to expect, but it provided for an appropriate level of modesty. The room contained multiple lockers with keys so that we were able to secure our belongings. 10/10. 6. We were then led to a steamy room, removed our robes, and carefully helped up onto the padded platforms. Once seated we were rinsed with warm water and soaped up. Then they got us bottled water (cold or room temperature, our choice) and left us to steam in the the 103°F room. Sweat, sweat, sweat. They checked in a couple of times to make sure we were okay, which I appreciated. That steam was no joke. 10/10. 7. After maybe 10-15 minutes, we moved into another room that looked identical, rubber mats on elevated platforms. But this time we laid down and the treatments started. Warm water poured over body, light scrubbing of face, and some treatment painted on my face. Then it was really same thing over and over with different parts of the body. Pour water, scrub with the mits, and exfoliate years of dead skin. Years. 10/10. 8. The women who provided our treatments were great, social in response to our talking but not trying to talk the whole time. Gotta love that with any kind of spa treatment, let the client decide the talking level. At some point, she rinsed off the face treatment and scrubbed my face a little more. 10/10. 9. So they keep doing their thing, having us move arms, tilt neck, roll on side, etc., so that they can get to all of our parts. We'll, most. Going back to the distinct differences in our disposable underwear, wife got way more of her upper legs/buttocks scrubbed. My scrubbing stopped just above the knee and resumed above the waste. And honestly, I get why-guys can be/are creeps. It did leave, however, a large area of me unexfoliated. 9/10. 10. After that, had us sit up, more water pouring to rinse off the dead skin and touching up spots that needed a little more scrubbing. Once rinsed and cleaned, got a scalp treatment/shampooing. Nice touch. 10/10. 11. They helped us put our robes back on and we were led to our changing room were they did a rose water spritz and argon oil serum face treatment. We were then left alone to get dressed. 10/10. 12. Ended the experience in the Tea Room where we enjoyed wonderful hot Moroccan tea and some baklava. What a wonderful treat! Thanks for reading my novel. Hopefully it covered questions you might have if you have never had this experience before. We thought it was fantastic, and it is going on our growing list of "must-dos" when visiting Houston.

Over the last 5 months, I have tried to book with her. In May, they called and told me she wasn't available due to a family emergency, I told them it was ok, and I would re-book once she was available. Done and totally fine. The second time I booked with Robyne was at the end of June. I booked online and came in to them telling me Robyne was still out and that Jessica would be my therapist. I was annoyed that they didn't tell me this ahead of time. The front desk person, Mona, tried to make it sound like I had made a mistake because Robyne has been out since the end of April. I didn't want to argue and she told me to trust that Jessica would take care of me. I agreed and went in for my massage. Jessica was not up to standard but I didn't complain and still tipped, but made a mental note that this seemed kind of shady on their part. Skip to August and I saw that Robyne would be available again starting September 7th. I excitedly booked, but remembering my last experience, I took a screenshot of my booking. Lo and behold, I came in today and another therapist came out to greet me. This time, I knew they were playing the bait and switch game and called them out on it. Mona not only didn't address the issue, but tried to convince me that this therapist would be better than Robyne. I tried to make her understand that my frustration wasn't in the therapist, it was in the fact they again did not give me the courtesy of at least informing me of the change in therapist ahead of time. She initially tried to gaslight me into thinking I made a mistake booking again. When I showed her the screenshot, she then said she's glad I took a screenshot but THEY didn't control the website... what? You guys are a franchise... if you don't control your own booking website, who does? Dont advertise a therapist who isn't available... it's that simple. We went back and forth for a bit but it got nowhere, so I just told them to cancel my appointment and I would eat the cost. I didn't care, but I would no longer be coming back to this location. At the end of the day, it wasn't the therapist, Mona, I'm sure Liberty is great. It's the fact that there was no integrity in your business practice. All it took was a phone call to say - "hey actually Robyne wont be available until next year, would you be okay with Liberty?" Mona even tried to say "well Robyne isn't gonna be back til next year, just to let you know" attitude at me, like that was the issue. Like if I were waiting for Robyne, I'm SOL. When I heard that, I knew she didn't understand the real issue and I wasn't going to argue with her anymore. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm pretty much done with this location. Shame because this is the closest one to my house. I am posting a few photos to show you guys their shady practices. The first and second are of my booking of Robyne for sept 7, and their switch of me to Liberty. The third is of the fact that Robyne is still on their website for November - even though she's supposed to b unavailable until next year. An incredible lack of integrity and poor business practices. And Mona in the front trying to convince unsuspecting clients they made a mistake booking but this new therapist will do.
