The estimates are reasonable, and Linda, who coordinates the jobs and takes the payments, is very responsive and quick to reply to questions. Overall, I recommend them for affordability, communication/responsiveness, and timeliness.

Once they did, their service was spotty, never knew when they would show up, so I had to keep asking. A couple months in, and they stopped showing up altogether. After 3 weeks of nothing, I emailed and was given another apology for them forgetting I existed. Another 2+ weeks go by, same exact thing. So I cancel my service with them, but I had one more day paid for. They came out and mowed their last day. And then they charged me for another month's service today. And good luck trying to get them on the phone. They never answer. If you leave a message, best you'll get is a text. Feels like they're scared to talk to their customers, and I see why.

How he could conclude that the back yard needed it but not the front is beyond me -- it was the same grass in the same condition. Probably just trying to cover for the fact they didn't measure and estimate what I asked for originally. Late April came and went, despite phone calls from me as asked in early April to setup an estimate. Then it was, we'll come by and estimate in early May for install in late May. Late May has come and gone and I still don't have a full yard estimate, let alone any grass. Done with their lies. I've hired someone else. You should do the same if you want your project done.

It started right, they rushed out for some sprinkler work and I asked about replacing my 18yr old fence. I got an estimate a little higher than the next closest so seemed inline, plus the quote had a little more detail. This was all preCOVID. After my deposit, they cancelled. starting multiple times, were consistently late and new excuses each time. We were 6 mo. In with more cancelations and some rain issues, but wouldn't have been if they honored earlier commitments. When the owner personally showed, he did work hard but I even had to mention after demo ended and they were mostly done, they left a batch of crap in the backyard that I had to ask several times to clean up. Cancelations got worse near the last 25% but then they convinced my wife to pay balance doe to personal financial challenges. After that everything was a struggle. More cancels and I complained about no caps on posts, no cement in post holes, missing boards, aesthetic issues,, gate issues and other stuff to drag to about a year for my fence. They wear you down with missed promises and I finally gave up. Now less than 2yrs old, I am having to hire another fence contractor to fix it. Don't get suckered like me.

JD tree service sent someone out to estimate trimming…read more4 big trees, and bracing one (lifting a limb to a support beam to allow improved garage access). The estimate was higher than I hoped, but I agreed. They did a basic tree trim, and did not complete the job as agreed, specifically bracing a the heavy limb. Further, they expected full payment. I paid, as life is too short to argue these things. If they didn't want to perform the limb brace work, they should have told at the time of estimate. These guys are probably fine for basic trimming, but be clear on what you're getting. I've switched to a tree service from East Dallas that seems more expert at handling big trees. They do cable and brace work, and the cost per tree, of trimming, was the same. No other complaints with the trimming, but no question they could have handled it better in so many ways. At a minimum they should back up their estimates, or reach you that day if they are in over their heads. I Won't be back.
