First it was, oh, it's too early to put down sod, it'll die. We should plant in late April. We also won't know if your front yard needs replaced until the grass has had more time to grow. How he could conclude that the back yard needed it but not the front is beyond me -- it was the same grass in the same condition. Probably just trying to cover for the fact they didn't measure and estimate what I asked for originally. Late April came and went, despite phone calls from me as asked in early April to setup an estimate. Then it was, we'll come by and estimate in early May for install in late May. Late May has come and gone and I still don't have a full yard estimate, let alone any grass. Done with their lies. I've hired someone else. You should do the same if you want your project done.

We needed our front yard and flower beds cleared of acorns, weeds and old mulch. They trimmed a couple dozen hedges and two larger trees. They also added new mulch to the entire front yard, and what was fantastic is they picked up and transported the mulch! Three to four guys worked for 3 hours to complete the work, all for an Incredibly fair price and value. I received another quote that was nearly FOUR times what Tulum did the work for! I highly recommend Tulum and we will be working with them on any all future yard projects!

I explained I really didn't want to pay another almost $300 just because they failed to implement the plan we agreed on and was told (albeit nicely) while someone there did "drop the ball", it's my fault for waiting a month to notice and call them. The owner, Juan Mendez, came out on the same day of the call and repaired the drip lines, as well. Again, this company is amazing ... which says a lot about the owner.
