My fancy wedding nails. Chrome and matte

Wonderful experience, I had Steven the owner and also met his adorable wife Mary, I needed extra fancy nails for a wedding and he delivered! Very comfortable salon, clean, sanitary . I'm very happy and will return. I want to add that I'm fairly new to the area and had been going to another salon that didn't compare to CA nails, the quality of work, the friendliness and the ability to deliver beautiful nails. I highly recommend

We stopped by this nail salon because the one we usually go to was closed. They were very friendly and took us right away even without an appointment. We got pedicures and I got a fill. The shop was clean and well maintained. They had lots of colors to choose from for both gel, dip and regular. If I am on that side of town and need a fill I will be back. The girl that did my nails shaped them perfectly and they are just the right length for me.

Needed a quick nail appt & tried a rec from a friend, during a break at work! So Glad I did. Mary did my nails & she did fantastic! Her attention to detail was great and she was friendly and kind. The salon was very clean and put together. Loved it! Will absolutely be back again sometime! Update: 13 days later I still had a great experience but I had 3 fingers chipped by day 8. I normally have a gel polish last 3 weeks so that was a little disappointing but I'll try them again! read more

I made an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. When I arrived they were very busy and I had to wait 35 minutes. I received the pedicure which was fine but because they were so busy they did not do my manicure. They didn't even offer to do the manicure. They just checked me out. I'd been there for an hour and a half and honestly I was ready to leave. It was very disappointing. They should not book so many appointments at the same time. The gentleman working kept complaining about how busy it was. I definitely won't go back. read more

They are a small family ran business that were very busy when I walked in at 5PM for a mani/SNS and pedicure. They asked for me to wait and I didnt mind since I didnt have an appointment. They were very attentive and the service was great once they were able to get to me. I may set an appointment next time but definitely will go back!!! read more

I would not recommend this place. The person who did my nail did a horrible job. My nails look horrible and I'm hurting. He filed them too much. They do not look nice. He also almost touch my nails after getting another client ready to do her toes. I asked him to please wash his hands. I'm sorry, I was expecting a better service, perhaps one of the other technicians do a better job. read more

Not the "new and shiny" look of the salon across the street (that told me they were too tired from the day to do my nails an hour before closing) but the service, quality and kindness of this salon makes up for it! Walked in to CA nails, was greeted immediately and ended up having my nails done by Steven, the owner. Such a nice guy and he did an awesome job on my French dip. never go here. I showed an inspo pic which was a simple almond shape French tip. I did not get what I wanted in the slightest. my nails were crooked, different lengths, bumpy, and not the length I asked for. then I asked for them to just paint them all white because they looked so bad and it was as if I asked her to unplug her mother life support line. The pic that looks good is the nails I asked for, the one that is hideous are the ones I got. read more

This was my fourth visit to CA Nails. It is clean, the people there are very nice, and there is no pressure. I get a gel manicure and a C-salon pedicure. All the technicians I have had did a very good and careful job. The prices are on par with other salons. My only complaint would be that they don't seem to have a lot of gel nail colors with an exact matching toenail color. Not a huge issue, but I hope they expand on that. The gentleman who seems to run the salon is always very nice. Will definitely return. read more

Decent experience overall. A friend and I needed manicures done and they were able to seat us right away. The 2 women doing my nails did a decent job but they did end up cutting me in a few areas around my cuticles. They were sensitive with the areas I told them about but ended up doing a little damage in other places. Something to keep in mind when you go but I'm sure it was an honest mistake. The job they did getting my fingers were they needed to be was good. I also got them buffed which was an extra $3, but very worth it. read more

We came here on vacation so I can give my daughter her first experience getting a mani & pedi. I can say the gentleman that gave her the mani & pedi treated her so good. She almost fell asleep and she absolutely loved her nails. She just didn't like waiting for them to dry. I can say that my pedicure was good but the guy that did my services rushed and was impatient with me. He sent me on my way and my nails messed up as soon as I started driving and I had SNS. Best nail salon on the island. Kind and friendly people, professionals who care. They actually talk to you about what you want and not just slap something down to make room for the next customer. Came here yesterday for my first pedicure. Apparently I was missing out! We called for an appointment a few days prior and we were seated promptly as we arrived. The staff was very friendly. Since they knew this was the first time for me, they did a very good job of exposing to me what they were doing, why they did it, how it helps, etc. I would highly recommend stopping here if you're ever in Amelia Island! read more

I came in for acrylic removal and dip powder on my natural nails. I communicated that clearly at…read morecheck-in. After I was seated, I asked for color books and was brought dip powder books. I chose a pink sparkly dip color from those books. Later, when it was time for color, I was told that shade was not available, so I picked another color, still under the assumption we were doing dip. Near the end of the service, I realized he was doing a gel acrylic process instead of dip powder. I had never had dip before, so I did not immediately recognize the steps, but once I did, I spoke up. He then claimed he "didn't know," which does not make sense given that I stated the service at check-in and selected from dip powder books. At that point, instead of acknowledging the mistake, multiple staff members insisted it was my fault and still attempted to charge me. I was also told I could leave with my nails partially done and not have to pay, but this came only after the situation had escalated and become circular. Looking back, the color situation raises concerns. I selected a dip powder color from a dip book, yet was told it was not available. Given that the service being performed had shifted to gel without being confirmed, it suggests the color may have been treated as unavailable because it did not fit the service they had already started, rather than because it did not exist. The interaction then became repetitive and unproductive. I was told over and over that it was my fault because I came in with acrylic on my nails, even though I had clearly requested removal and a different service. The technician also kept repeating that the service "would have been $60," which had nothing to do with the issue. I was initially willing to tip because I understood time had been spent, but it became clear that responsibility was being redirected instead of addressed. The only reason this situation fully resolved without escalation is because another customer stepped in and offered to pay. The salon itself did not correct the mistake or take responsibility. Dip powder and gel acrylic are completely different services. At no point was a change in service confirmed with me, despite choosing from dip powder books and requesting dip from the beginning. This is not a simple misunderstanding. It follows a pattern: perform a different service, avoid confirming the change, and when questioned, deny awareness, repeat irrelevant points, and shift responsibility onto the customer to justify payment. Be very clear about what you want and watch the process closely from the start if you come here. Even though I ultimately didn't have to pay, I'm still so pissed because they look awful and I will now have to go through this whole process again in the next couple of days but this time, It will be awful getting them roved because they are fresh. I can't believe this.

Hello everyone, This salon is the most professional, clean, and the most talented, knowledgeable nail techs in fernandina. Any females looking for a permanent salon this is the one. They give out new utensils every visit, which I've never seen, shows they care. I have been coming here since they opened a few months ago and will never go anywhere else I even drive from saint Mary's, where I recently moved, to continue with their service. Lannie has become one of my good friends and she is so so friendly when I come in. On the other hand, that lady Denise M. Is completely lying. She came back after two weeks and wanted her money back after leaving the salon more than happy. I can't believe someone would put this salon down, some people just hate life. My nails always start to wear away after 2 weeks bc everyone uses their hands more than anything else, obviously it is going to wear off. That's why people come back every two or three weeks to get their mani's and pedi's. That post is totally false and should be removed. When she told me this story and I realized how crazy and unprofessional this was seeing how this is my favorite salon, I had to write something. This is totally wrong and show dishonesty and that whole deal is invalid because she waited to weeks to complain, and she still got her money back , no question bc they have excellent customer service. I took my mom here and payed for her to get her nails done bc one of her friends referred this salon. I will tell you she absolutely loved this salon she could believe it. This is one of the best nail salons she has been to in ten years. Lannie, the manager was her nail tech and she absolutely did her nails perfect, and this is the most sterile nail place I have ever seen. They give new instruments from unopened packages every time you come. My moms never seen that and neither have I. But WOW.as happy and surprised as she was after the visit there. If you live on the island and need a new reg spot for mani/pedi - this is it! Super friendly staff from the moment you walk in. No matter which "package" you select for you pedi, they will take care of you and take their time!! Unlike some bigger spas that may take away from your time in order to turn more customers - this place is owned and run by a local that genuinely cares for your business. Great selection of colors for your options of gel/dip. Good conversations with staff, just enough! It was my first time today - I got a full mani(dip)/pedi(gel) with their deluxe pedi and spent close to 2 hours there! Great experience, highly recommend for all! read more

CA Nails & Spa NAILS it! I am new to the Fernandina Beach area, but since I've been here ( about 2 years) I have used CA Nails. Katie and her staff are friendly, welcoming, and the spa experience is divine! Katie has introduced me to dipping powder for my nails and it is the only way I can keep my nails strong and looking great. I am an artist working with paints, adhesives, glass and more. For a manicure to last for a good 2-3 weeks is amazing. The pedicure with hot stone massage, lovely creams and oils, wax treatment, and hot towels is awesome! I am so impressed at the cleanliness. I have my nails and my pedicures there and highly recommend it. Firstly, The foot baths are lined with a new disposable plastic liner for each client - love that! When they do your nails - the implements used are given to you to either take home or dispose of yourself - another WOW! Everyone there takes care in making sure you're comfortable and relaxed and I appreciate that there is not the constant chatter in a foreign language. The aloe pedicure is my 'spoil". I'm visiting Fernandina and had three pedicures at CA Nails and Spa. The service was consistently excellent. The people are friendly and professional. They offer a wide range of services at very reasonable prices. I chose my pedicure from a book giving complete descriptions of the services. They give you a choice of scrub fragrances and offer you complimentary drinks. Every aspect of the pedicure was great - trimming, filing, getting rid of dry skin and excess cuticles, as well as the color application. I go here every once in a while and they do a fantastic job! Their shop is very clean and organized and there is many things to choose from. The workers are very concentrated and focused and they are also super nice! They will do EXACTLY what you ask them to do and they are overall just really sweet people. While visiting Amelia Island with my family, we decided to pop in for manicures and pedicures. The staff was so helpful and friendly right off the bat! After finishing with the pedicure, they packaged up their files and scrub pads and gave them to us to keep saying they use new ones with each customer. We were also offered something to drink while we had our nails worked on. Overall very impressed with the service here at CA nails! read more

I moved to Fernandina 9 months ago. I have tried several nail salons. I am a bit picky and must report CA Nails is great! They do quality work with good products and MOST importantly they really understand how to treat customers. No rush service here they really try and pamper you. GREAT value and personalized service. Love this pace! I had my mani/pedi done here with my friends for first time and I went back since. They did a great job on my nails. Katie did an excellent job on my organic nail power. Love this nail salon. I've never been a person to stay with the same salon. I would bounce around depending on where I was at the time. I will always come back to this place though. Daughter and I had manicures and pedicures yesterday. The spa may not look fancy from the street but it was one of the nicest experiences I have had getting a manicure and pedicure.
