Such a cute place in town! With the best ice cream and frozen yogurt bar! The cotton candy water ice is our absolute favorite!

I love the cherry water ice at Cabana. The staff is always kind and respectful. I almost never have to wait more that a minute to be served.

Always so friendly and very affordable. The soft serve is so good and the hard ice cream is all homemade. It's amazing!

Recently discovered and mad at how bad this is going to be to stay fit for the summer. This place…read moreis really a local gem that's tucked away in a quaint neighborhood. It's got that old school charm with an array of modern flavor options that would overwhelm anyone in a good way. With enough options, they keep you coming back for more to try all their offerings, it's just that good. They're friendly and happy to serve as they know their product will surely bring a smile to anyone's day. This place has quickly become a regular rotation spot for good reason and those who know, know what's up. Stay fat mother suckers

Not sure why I haven't reviewed this place already, as it is our go to ice cream spot…read more First, the people here are extremely nice. The building is a converted corner house, with a quasi wrap around porch that turns into a little seating area with a tv and some coin operated kiddie rides. They ALWAYS have something brewing here, flavorwise. There is always some provincial concoction, eg the Trust the Process, a sixers themed red white and blue sundae named after Joel Embiid. Hell, they have a sundae for EVERY player on the Phillies! You won't run out of options here. They even have free ice cream if you bring your pooches! The only knock on ICL is that they CAN get a little pricey, and can definitely get a little packed. I've seen HUGE lines at this place, and have spent a nice little chunk of change on some relatively tame ice cream offerings. BUT, that little nitpick aside, I love ICL and will definitely continue to frequent it throughout the summer.

Came to Milk Jawn in South Philly and completely understood the hype after one visit. The service…read morewas amazing from the start, they let us sample a bunch of flavors and honestly every single one was so good that it made choosing stressful in the best way possible. I ended up getting the Playoff Party flavor, which I believe is only offered when one of the Philly teams is in the playoffs, and it was basically an Oreo ice cream lover's dream. The Earl Grey Honeycomb was also SO good. You could actually taste the Earl Grey tea flavor clearly, and the honeycomb balanced it perfectly without overpowering it. One thing I really liked about their ice cream in general was the texture because it had that perfect consistency where it's firm and dense but still soft. It's definitely on the pricier side though. Our total came out to around $15-16 for two single scoops, with one being in a waffle cone. I also wanted a waffle cone on the side, so they gave my single scoop in a larger bowl instead which I thought was really considerate. However, the waffle cone is on the thicker side so it's not as crispy. That said, for the price you are getting noticeably larger scoops, so honestly I still think it's very worth it. Would definitely come back to try more flavors.

I wanted to love the ice cream, but I was not impressed. After trying a few flavors I came to the…read moreconclusion that the consistency was more like ice milk than ice cream. The flavor combos - tahini fudge swirl, pistachio, lemon curd with blueberry basil swirl - sounded great. Unfortunately, the excitement for me was in name only. The tahini fudge was very toasty, but the fudge didn't hold up; pistachio had crunch but lacked the nut's flavor; the lemon curd wasn't tart enough for me, nor did I get much flavor from the blueberries. If you like a less creamy ice cream you'll like the texture. I'll try a vegan option the next time.
