To begin with this place is in the Downtown area of Huntsville which is very nice and cute. Really just came to wax my nose and also to try this place out since it was the first one to pop out on google. Moreover they take to a private room which are also cute and little. The lady that serviced me was very nice and talkative I wish I could remember her name made me feel very welcomed. I got my nose waxed which didn't hurt at all which I love by the way. I made an appointment for Cabana Wax University Drive for my wedding in 2021 and everything went fine ! Someone bought me a gift card to use afterwards and I have not had to the time to use it yet. I gave them a call to try to get them to transfer my gift card to a friend who could use it, to find out I have been banned from cabana wax for too many missed appointments and they had been trying to charge a card on file for the missed appointments. 1. I literally only came to get waxed for my wedding and never came back, called back, or scheduled another appointment 2. How did I get banned from a place I've been to once and never talked to them again 3. I wasn't trying to make me an appointment for me so how can someone who has never been there not be allowed to use the gift card 4. The only emails I have confirming an appointment are from my wedding. They just don't want to honor the gift card ‍ They kept saying that they wouldn't honor my gift card only the person who bought it can use it because there was an executive decision made to not allow me back. Now if they said it had expired I would have believed that because it was literally bought 2 years ago. But someone should be checking their sent mail to see that there were never any confirmations sent for any appointment beside the one and only one I made and attended so yes I'm mad because how did y'all ban me like that and ain't say nothing I ain't did nothing ‍ read more

I went to cabana wax for a Brazilian on Saturday for my upcoming trip to Mexico. I had pretty significant bruising right after, which has never happened to me before.. but I figured it would go away soon. I'm now on Wednesday of my trip with hickey-like bruises on my inner thighs hanging out of my BIKINI BOTTOMS. It's embarrassing. This was my first time at Cabana Wax Twickenham. Unfortunately there was a mixup with my appointment time and they had me in the system for 2:30 but I booked an appointment for 3:30 (I was in another time zone when I booked online so I wonder if that was it?). Long story short I wasn't there at 2:30 for obvious reasons and the staff was so accommodating to me! Candace called the manager who came in on a Saturday, from HOME, to manage the desk so Candace could do my Brazilian wax (since I had missed my appointment and they were already booked up). Listen when I say amazing I mean amazing. My girl Heather educated me before during and after my wax. I got a Brazilian and of course most people are nervous and sometimes shy when you literally have to buss it open in front of a stranger. So why not have the waxer to be as comfortable as you want to be and that's exactly what Heather did. She was very professional, friendly, well mannered, and organized. She taught me a breathing tip for trying to get through those strips on the lips and it went really fast. The placing of the wax was warm not hot, it tickled me so I was laughing with her my whole visit. Everyone's pain tolerance is different but it wasn't excruciating my opinion.
