Was there from 10:30-12:30 without a single other person coming in This allowed them to do a mani pedi simultaneously. Mixed feelings on that since it meant a pillow/towel/and nail bowl balanced on my lap as she did my nails. But I've been to places where they don't give you the pillow not the towel and expect you to stretch over your body. So no complaints Nails..gel with french tip were done in an hour. I went once and they did a good job, but this trip my sisters and I all had an extremely poor experience. The men doing our nails were extremely rude, they didn't say a word but rather just jerked our hands around. Additionally, they gave me the wrong color. I didn't correct to trust the process, but am overall disappointed. The one nail tech made another cry while we were there, telling her she was not good at her job. She did the best manicure. I don't know if I'll be returning. Additionally it was over $60 per person (dip powders), which I believe is too high to leave with a mediocre manicure. read more

Tone down the aggressive upsell. I'm new to Madison. I came in there wanting Gel-X nails. I was repeatedly asked to do hybrid TAP nails. I did not know what that was but did clearly say I like gel-x because I want to grow my own nails out and I like the thin look of the Gel-X too (I specifically stated all of that and especially that I don't like thick looking nails). I was assured that the hybrid TAP would not look thick and he completely ignored what I said about my intention of growing out my own nails. These TAP nails not only look thick but there's no way my natural nails will survive the removal. It was then I was told I would have to get fill ins, which are better than having the Gel-X removed each time. Excuse me, but that is something for the customer to decide, not the nail tech. If I want to remove the tips each time w/Gel-X that's my business. I don't care what these new hybrid TAP nails are supposed to do, but the bottom line is they look like regular, thick acrylics (even though you all claim they are not acrylics...doesn't matter...they still look like acrylics). I'm not too upset about trying the hybrid TAP nails because I was curious try them after the (false) description I was given about them. I don't know what the intent was to push those, other than price ($100 for those vs. the $70 I was quoted over the phone for the Gel-X), and/or thinking I would be a repeat fill in customer. I will never be back for simply the deceptive/hard upsell reasons that I experienced. I also got a regular pedicure there. They actually have an up charge for the hot towels around the legs. That's ALWAYS been a STANDARD service at EVERY salon I've been to, even the one other salon I've been to, here in Madison. Do better. read more

I've been giving them my business for over a decade so I was so happy to come back. When I went in for a fill in, my regular people were not there so I went with who were. I was hassled into feeling like I had to get a pedicure. I was forced to pay before my services were finished and $100 for something that was worth less than $50. My paint is chipping and I have French tips. So tacky and unethical, I will never ever return here. I'm such a fan of Tammy's work! Each time she has done my nails they have been professionally done. I will continue due to her service, the cleanliness of the facility and reasonable prices. My only complaint is that I was seated with someone once due to not making an appointment and she (not Tammy) proceeded to not soak my nails to remove them but peeled them off. It was painful and I did ask her to soak them a couple of times but she ignored me even though she was aware of my discomfort. read more

My daughter and I went today. Huy did my pedi and he did a fantastic job. Bill did my daughter's nails and she was uncertain if she liked them so he very patiently talked to her about what she wanted changed - he told her that he didn't want her to worry about the time it took or anything, and told her how he just wanted her to leave happy. Both her and I left very happy and we're excited to have found such a beautiful place with such sweet people running it. I would give 10 stars if I could! Great pedicure massage. Loved that they asked first before trimming. Attendant noticed that the color wasn't nearly as vibrant as in the sample, so she suggested something different and wiped off the three toes she'd already done to start over with something that made me very happy. Staff seemed very happy because the ?manager? was teasing them and they were all laughing and teasing back. The tools were in the little tool bags for hygiene so theoretically they'd been sterilized. They used tub liners so that you were soaking in theoretically clean water (less chance of cross contamination). read more

Horrible experience. I went in asking for dip with tip, left with thick acrylic nails that aren't even shaped correctly. First, I was not asked what shape I wanted and how long, my nails were cut "too short" to get the shape I wanted, and that they had to start over. Next, I said I wanted Funny Bunny (an extremely popular color) and they said they cannot do it, so I said a white, they then proceeded to give me a French Tip. I then corrected again saying I want the whole nail done. I was then told they had to do acrylic to get what I wanted because they could not do it with dip. I then was stabbed by my nail tech's fingernail causing me to bleed. (My blood was on the nail file as he was filing my nails) Finally, I leave with THICK acrylic nails and acrylic that isn't even going down to my nail bed. I will be going somewhere else tomorrow to have these removed and will never return. read more

Upon entering the salon, my sister and I were repeatedly questioned about our preferences, ranging from nail color to pedicure type. However, instead of respecting our choices, the staff attempted to upsell us to pricier services, even when we clearly stated our preferences. Despite requesting regular polish for my pedicure, the technician persistently pushed for gel, disregarding my wishes. Mind you I was already getting gel on my hands, so I know my preferences. I was treating my sister to a pedicure for her birthday and the experience was far from relaxing; it felt more like a relentless sales pitch aimed at making as much money as possible from us. If I could give zero stars I would. I felt like I was at a used car lot. Every time I turned around we were getting bothered by one of the workers (four in rotation) kept coming to us trying to upsell us. We didn't get the basic or lower cost services either so this was very much unnecessary and unwanted. We couldn't relax because of how much different people would take turns trying to get us to get more or even higher services yet they didn't have any of the colors we wanted. As a person who has been getting their nails and feet done for decades this is an absolute turnoff for wanting to make a nail shop a home. To top this all off, this was my Birthday service which I was supposed to get 10% off and didn't get that either. read more

She would ignore me, suggest for me to get acrylic when I asked for dip, and was yanking my arm to "massage" it. Again I am very sickened by my experience and the amount of money I lost. read more

My friends and I have been going here for a long time (shortly after they opened) and we are always happy with the services. We often get dip gel manicures together ever few weeks. We have used multiple technicians and they are all fabulous. They are always accommodating and it's very easy to set up appointments online. DO NOT GO HERE!!! These people are scammers. I would give them zero stars if possible. I came in a couple weeks ago to get my nails done before I went on a trip. However, as soon as I got home, my nails starting peeling and bubbling. I had to leave for my trip, so I could not go back to the salon to get them fixed. I called the salon to let them know about the situation and they assured me that I would be able to come back any time to get a free set. They said they will not give a refund. I got a different salon to take off the color and paint on a different color while on my trip. However, after just one week the nails chipped. I just got back from my trip, and when I called them they said that they could not give me a free set. They said that I was gone too long, but when I spoke with them on the phone they said "Come back anytime, we take care of you". According to my regular nail tech, the salon used cheap materials and did not let the nails dry properly which led to the peeling and bubbling. I spent over $100 on my manicure and pedicure here (not including tip), and all that money just went down the drain. Please save your money, and go to a salon that does better service and actually keeps their word. read more
