The comedian is great - not sure what other events they do here. The decor was really nice in the event space on the 3rd floor - very welcoming. Second floor had a bar and food area. If you are looking for an event space, this is quite nice with the higher ceilings and rustic feel.

When reaching out to the new contact person... instead of soothing any fears I might have about my upcoming event, when I call it said hi DeAnn I was told you were my new contact person.... She cut me off and said NO I'm the one who got stuck with this after x ran off with your money now I let that slide and tried to move forward with a professional conversation and let me tell you, it was a complete headache! This lady would take days to respond to questions or flat-out never respond. She kept saying how she doesn't have to honor the contract because it wasn't signed with her I signed with the previous management. She sent me the rudest email about not ever touching her air-conditioning mind you, we didn't. On a 95° day She said air-conditioning wasn't included in my $25 an hour rehearsal sessions because if it was up to her I would have paid $175 an hour. Mind you whenever I've payed for an event space for a show as long as there is availability the rehearsal hours are little to no cost as bonus for renting the space. Never have I been quoted such a ridiculous price for rehearsal sessions. During the event the only time the staff made themselves available was to make their money off the cash bar there was no staff support during the event we had to ask for trash cans and was given 1! 1 trash can for a 200 guest event. No follow up after the show to see if I was satisfied. I wanted to make this space the QueensCourt Fashion Show home because the building is fabulous however CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY! I will never return

Especially the single cheese platter, for which we paid $247.50 (for 45 people) contained the usual array of cubed and sliced cheeses. Only the little bit of brie would count as a more specialty cheese. So anything but gourmet! In short, pricy for what you get.

I came here for Yelp's Nauti by Nature party and had SO much fun. This space was perfect to host it, with grand balconies, an amazing view, and interesting spaces. This boat house has been flooded multiple times, and they're currently working on restoring it, room by room. Our event was a fundraiser for the building, in an effort to return it to its previous grandeur. Currently, it's still beautiful and majestic, just dated and in need of some repairs. There is a wonderful terrace and small lawn on the back side of the property where the ceremony was held....beautiful. There are several rooms throughout used for sit down dining, dancing, bar areas and cake display. The massive oak doors welcome you and make you feel as if you have been transported back in time once you pass through. There are plenty of nooks and crannies for wonderful picture ops...and not just for the wedding party! We had a great time, enjoyed an amazing union between two wonderful friends ... and laughed, drank, danced and partied the evening away!
