I retuned a week later for a slight correction and she had no problem accomidating me at no cost. Waxing with carmen is easy, not painful, quick, precise. Took me a long time to find someone used to extreme sensitive skin, I bruise so much. Well not with carmen. Cabellos is a hairdresser, and nail place as well. I have not tried yet but it seems very professional with good atmosphere. There is a gentleman cutting hair who seems talented, I have seen him working, and it appears very attentive to his clients. I found this place while I was staying on Biscayne. When I called them they immediately accommodated me with Pilar. Once I arrived at the salon the staff was very welcoming and I was seated immediately. I had a wash and blowout ($40); it was great a experience. Their products were all quality. Went to Cabellos for the first time yesterday to get my hair highlighted and get a pretty drastic cut. Pilar did my highlights and did an amazing job. She is so sweet and makes you feel very comoftable. After I got my highlights, I moved over to Fabian to cut my hair and again, perfection. I went for a gel manicure because I work close by and needed a place to fit a quick manicure into a busy schedule. I was disappointed that the gel manicure was $30, especially because you can't find the price listed anywhere on their menu. The price seems high when you consider that there was no massage with the manicure, no lotion, and my technician was on her cell phone for a large part of the time she was rendering the service. I generally would not mind the lack of massage or the phone issue, which is associated with a quick (and inexpensive) establishment. However, if you wish to charge $30 for a manicure, in my opinion the service should really be a little better (i.e. no cell phones). Besides those issues, the salon was clean and bright, the manicure was okay, the ladies that were working when I arrived where also very pleasant, including my technician. read more

My Wife & I's Wedding was in the Evening so we woke early the next day to take care of the necessary paperwork for the Wedding Ceremony. We were now Downtown Miami which was further from South Beach then we thought. I decided to do my pampering Downtown Miami where I assumed there would be tons of salons to choose from. Boy! Was I wrong! I walked blocks and blocks before I found Cabellos Beauty Salon. Now that's what I was looking for! A Fancy Salon that looks like they know what they're doing. I was a walk-in (obviously) and the nail tech gladly squeezed me before & after her 3PM appointment (who only needed to fix one nail). I was so lucky & she did an AMAZING job.
