We contracted Charles and his team to do a remodel of our bathroom in Jan. 2021 and are happy with…read morethe work he did. From the estimate forward, he did a great job communicating with us about pricing and process, and he offered a much more reasonable quote than many other contractors in central Illinois. When any work that deviated from our original plan arose (such as replacing the drum trap in our older home), Charles explained what needed to be done and why. Our final invoice was right in line with our estimate and we felt that he was honest and straightforward with us throughout the remodel. He was also very considerate being in our home and maintaining masks/distancing during covid-19.

We love the look of natural wood and were hesitant to paint our cabinets, but they were badly worn…read moreand needed a serious refresh. After reviewing the options with Brand New Again Refinishing, we decided to tone them to maintain the integrity and character of the wood. The process was incredibly thorough and professional. Brandon carefully masked off the entire kitchen to protect the rest of our home, then cleaned, sanded, and refinished every surface with care. Everything was smoothed, filled, and finished with precision -- including the doors and drawers, which were refinished off-site. Once everything was reinstalled, the alignment and fit were perfect, and the kitchen looked completely transformed. I also want to say how refreshing it is to work with someone who clearly loves what he does and takes great pride in his work. Brandon maintained a positive attitude throughout and genuinely cares about delivering top-quality results and complete customer satisfaction. The final result is a beautifully transformed kitchen -- all at a fraction of the time and cost required for full cabinet replacement. We're beyond pleased and highly recommend Brand New Again Refinishing! Arleen and Andre

Needless to say, they botched the cabinets up terribly. We went to our local Sherwin Williams store and asked if there was anyone that the recommended to refinish our cabinets and they gave me the number to Brand New Again. After talking to Brandon at Brand New Again, he sent me a video of what would be done. We felt comfortable enough to book the job. We felt that they did a very thorough job and when it was all done, it was like we had new cabinets. We could have spent $20,000 or more to get new cabinets installed, so we are very happy in our decision. We get compliments all of the time about our cabinets, everyone thinks that they are new. I highly recommend Brandon Smith and his team at Brand New Again Refinishing.

Brad and his staff are responsive. You never have to wonder…read morewhat is going on. I had a leak due to multiple issues with my chimney. Brad's work fixed that leak! Brad, replaced I would say ten or more bricks, repointed the chimney, and coated the crown. He and his crew were professional from start to finish and didn't leave a speck of brick in the yard or on my roof. The price was absolutely phenomenal. He is a straight shooter. Look no further. I am going to be having him back for more work. Please note that the pics are not the finished product at the moment. Brad is coming back to clean the brick and sheathing completely and to seal the brick and mortar. I will update the photos when he is completely finished. Brad came back as promised, cleaned up the dust and sealed the brick. The work looks beautiful and no more leak! They didn't leave a speck of brick pieces anywhere. Perfect clean up.

I could not be happier with any tradesperson than I am with Dan and his helper Brandon at MX…read moreElectric, who work together well on most of MX Electric's residential service calls and implementations. First, Dan knows his stuff and will only do things the correct way. He focuses on current and future plans and makes sure to allow flexibility for continuing projects when completing the requested work. Second, they are meticulous in preparation and cleanup, exhibiting respect for your property and belongings, covering all surfaces where needed, cleaning up after. Third, Dan is very familiar with home security systems and can help design the right camera placement for your property. He is honest and doesn't try to persuade you to do more than what is required just to increase costs. Fourth, the quality of work Dan does is top-notch. There are no crooked fixtures/switches or loose wires. They always focus on safety and never rush through and leave anything unfinished, even late on Friday afternoons! MX Electric is lucky to have these professionals in their company. As a picky homeowner, I heartily recommend MX Electric whenever asked who I use at my home. They always communicate with me in a respectful manner when I ask questions or have (too) wild ideas. I can not recommend MX Electric enough.
