I was very nervous walking into their showroom just waiting for a bad experience or to be lied to, I was nervous for nothing, I first connected with the company via chat, I spoke with Jeffery and he was very helpful and responded extremely quick to all my questions. I arrived at their showroom and Zane and the receptionist were very friendly. Zane helped me pick out a beautiful quartz for my kitchen. He put my mind at ease, I felt good going with a family business and hoped for the best. I received the call to schedule the project, excited but still skeptical I patiently waited for the day to come and it did! Three workers showed up and they were friendly and professional. We decided to embrace our dream and replace our 90s tile countertops with a modern stone countertop. I can't believe we waited almost 20 years. One of the best investments we've ever made. Okay, we did our research online and in person. We found the one stop shopping, inventory, and price that National Stone offered could not be matched. Notice how I put price last. That was the lowest criterion in our search if we found the right product. Fortunately, National Stone hit it out of the park on all 3 swings. Amazing inventory, one stop shopping and install, and best price for the product we ultimately wanted. We ultimately went with quartzite that had the look and durability we desired. I had a little work to do to get ready for the install, but anyone with basic skills could do it too (e.g., remove top drawers from under the counter and cover the rest to protect against the demo). Removing the cooktop was simple, but might not be an normal skill. After my part, everything thing else went according to plan. The install took most of the day, but it wasn't a small job to begin with. In the end, we couldn't be happier and the results were better than imagined. Inside we were given a bid based upon our drawings and measurements, were impressed with the pricing and we signed the contract and charged our credit card same day on August 2. Final measurements August 21. All performed in all a very smooth process, no glitches, accurate measurements and efficient installation. This is a wonderful, family operated business. I wish I could give this guy NEGATIVE stars!! About two years ago I bought a stone slab for my fireplace surround. About 13 months after installation there is a small crack that expands whenever I have the fireplace on. I called and they wanted over $300 to "put glue in it" (that's how it was explained) not epoxy with polishing to match, but glue. I chose not to do it. In talking to a more reputable stone guy he said to find out if it quartz or quartzite and we can repair it. I had my wife call and ask if they can tell me what it is and the guy said he had no record or invoice on file for us. I called him about an hour later to ask again and he cut me off saying I told you I didn't have anything for you. I asked him "Do you purge your records that fast, it was only a couple of years ago". I then said can you check under a different name maybe it's under that one? He immediately started screaming at me that I had an attitude because I spelled the name for him and he couldn't believe I was asking him for free information when he was so busy. He said why would I lie to you if I had it I would tell you. I said that's why I'm asking if it's under a different name. He went on and on without me saying a thing and then just said I'm not helping you. Before he hung up I was able to get in a few F&:$;);k you's. I will be calling the better business bureau, the contractors board and whoever else I can. It was absolutely unbelievable. I've NEVER experienced anything like that in my life. read more

About two weeks later, our oven stopped working and we had to get a new one. We picked out a slide in stove and the installers told us the strip of quartz behind the old oven would have to come out.
