We purchased floor tiles and supplies for our entire home and shower tile and supplies for our 2 bathrooms in our new build, from the Rainbow location yesterday. We were assisted by Alyssa. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We discussed all of the necessary supplies we would need for tile work and placed the order. We were fully covered for the tiling jobs since our project manager only told us to order the tile. Turns out we needed all but the thin set. Our project manager neglected to tell us prior to ordering that we did not need the thin set but Alyssa assured me that anything that wasn't needed could be returned. I wasn't able to speak to the project manager until the following day and it turns out the thin set was not needed, so I was able to have the order adjusted prior to pick up by our project manager. Alyssa knows her stuff for sure! I asked her honest opinion on grout color choices and she led me in the right direction! We are very thankful for all of her help and guidance and expertise through this journey. When we return to the store for future purchases, we will remember Alyssa for sure. To cancel the thin set from the order prior to pick up, I called this afternoon and spoke with Aidan and Aidan was able to process the return before our pick up and issue a credit to our account. I went to Floor & Decor and made an appointment with Tony to learn the basics of installing tile. I am planning to replace my carpet with tile and wanted to see what doing the project myself would entail. Tony walked me through everything , from the different types of tile to the kinds of grout . The difference between ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone. If you are thinking of doing your own tile project, definitely go to Floor & Decor, ask to speak with a manager, and schedule an appointment with Tony. He'll set you up on a Saturday and make sure you leave with all the knowledge you need. They offer DIY classes which I think is an amazing idea. You walk out of there feeling confident in your projects. . This place reminds me of Home Depot but for flooring . Floor & Decor is a store that specializes in flooring, home accents, and backsplashes. You can find all sorts of laminate, tile and much more at Floor & Decor. We ended up buying a bunch of San Giorgio Polished Porcelain tile to replace our first level flooring in the house. It was a pretty easy process to buy the tile and then pick-it-up. We initially didn't realize that their delivery services was only through 3rd party and that Floor & Decor typically recommends pick-up only. We rented a U-Haul for the day to pick up all the tiles. Prices are similar to what you can find at Lowes or Home Depot but the selection here is far more expansive. They have a design center to help with inspiration and the employees are knowledgeable about their products. They have a solid return & exchange policy plus you can browse their entire selection from their website. Very poor customer service at both the Summerlin and Northwest locations. We needed help with 18 heavy boxes of tile--no one offered assistance. Both stores were slow, yet staff were nowhere to be found or simply ignored us. For a purchase of this size, the lack of support was extremely frustrating. This place is impressive! There is so much to look at and I like how it's easy to navigate through the store to find different materials. They offer a great selection at different price points. We met with Ruby regarding tile we wanted for a backsplash and she was awesome! She really knew her stuff and we were so glad that we got to work with her! On our tile-search journey, this has been the largest showroom, hands down. We've been to Daltile, Lowe's and Home Depot, so far. I should also mention that I did some website research, before coming to this store, so I was familiar with some of the tile inventory. There are some projects (kitchen and bathroom) for inspiration on the left side of the front of the store (facing the front door, to exit). Many of them were quite the designer looking type of projects. (Check out my pics.) There is a table to discuss design ideas with a clerk, which is pretty convenient. Ceramic tile, porcelain tile, roman tile, glass tile, subway tile, sealed and unsealed (ideal for the kitchen backsplash and bathroom walls) in so many colors, patterns, sizes, textures, and I could go on and on, but I will stop here. It is impressive and could be overwhelming. I loved the choices and versatility of the possibilities. (Check out my pics.) I like that there is a table to place your sample pieces to help assist you with your choices. (I was contemplating a dual backsplash for our kitchen.) We did find some contenders. We need to get a quote from our contractor, in order to make our final decision. The middle (part of the store) features some other tile options for inside and outside, such as pebble, some wood-like looking ones, saltillo (from Mexico), just to name a few. Prices are high up, making it easy to figure out your budget, along with the price per tile or foot (you will have to note the size, which is specified), and how many pieces are in a box (the only downside with this store, (hence the four stars) is that when you purchase a box, you cannot return individual pieces, unlike Lowe's policy (we just got our guest bathroom remodeled)). Towards the back of the middle of the store are the bathrooms, which are pretty nice (displaying the materials and also, it's advertising), and clean, too. The right side of the store (facing the front door, to exit) features flooring, like: bamboo (I liked that one the most), wood, laminate, pet proof and children proof floors. (Hubby estimated that our cost for materials would be at least $3000, so that project is not in our immediate future. It is a clean store. We didn't notice many clerks working on the floor, so maybe there were more of them working in the back (?). It was a sunday, and there were numerous customers on a sunday night, surprisingly (but then again, tax return season). Hubby asked for assistance but the clerk did not seem to know about the particular tile, saltillo. read more

I don't usually do reviews but Tony and Hayden deserve recognition for the high level of customer service that they provide. I started DMS bathroom project couple of weeks back and purchased part of my supplies from the usual guys (Lowes and Home Depot). This is my first time doing this sort of job so I had many questions and I got little to no help from them. My wife and I come to Floor and Decor to choose the design for our shower tile. We were approached by Hayden and she started helping us. The level of knowledge this employee has is incredible. She answered all our questions and in fact helped us to find everything we needed to complete our project. Her supervisor Tony offered his support and advice as well. The service was great, however when I had a problem with the flooring that was purchased, the claim adjuster placed the claim that we filed in a closed status until we paid up to $700 for an inspector to come out and tell us that there was a problem with the site (our home) or that it was installed incorrectly. We paid over $4000 for the product and then even more money for a licensed contractor to install it. We had this flooring installed in over three rooms and now the flooring is warping and chipping after a few years and the product box states gouge proof (which it is not) and lifetime warranty. They do not stand by their customers or the product that they sell or their lifetime warranty. I will not be purchasing anymore products from them. We have been loyal customers since 2019 but no more. Very disappointed in their claim department and their product. read more

I was a little angry when I wrote my first review. Now I am irritated that the email they want me to respond to doesn't work, so I will share here My first visit was amazing, quick check in and load even at the end of their day. I know I can't blame dumb drivers on anyone, but I think they could have evened out the loads and used plastic or metal strapping on them. The first pallet had 55 boxes of vinyl flooring and 3 rolls of plastic. I only has one tie strap, the load was only secured with shrink wrap from the store. I decided to take the back roads to avoid traffic, but, someone ran a stop sign and cut me off. I hit the brakes and swerved, about 10 boxes broke loose and hit the ground. I was angry. The next load was 45 boxes and secured with binding straps from the store. The next load was even smaller, 25 boxes, and only shrink wrap again. I know I shouldn't hold the first night against your company, I love your store, but next time I need flooring, I will use Home Depot. Military discount and free installation.
