We stopped in at Cabinet Mountain Brewing while visiting Libby Montana. It was crowded but we were able to grab a table outside in a nice patio area. I didn't catch our servers name but he as friendly and attentive. Unfortunately they had limited items available on the menu this day. But what we did have was good. We ordered the chips with salsa and guacamole, shrimp cocktail and charcuterie board. I don't drink beer but everyone said the beer was tasty. Overall, we had a nice experience. read more

Cabinet Mountain Brewing was long on my list and I wasn't sure when I may actually get to it since it's a little bit out of the way from attractions and other breweries that we have mapped out but on my last trip to Montana I managed to get that worked out. The beer I had from this brewery was the Ross Creek Red. This was an enjoyable beer and one that was refreshing with it's subtle flavor characteristics of maltiness and a touch of smokiness. A little bit rich but still light bodied this was nice, well made beer with a very good balance to it! Glad to have managed to have tried this brewery and if you are passing through Libby and have craft beer on your mind then this is a worthy stop to make! read more

We couldn't believe when Erika told us it was only her second day - she was friendly and knowledgeable and handled our party of 8 like a veteran. Highly recommend trying a flight; we really liked the cider! Beer cheese soup was great as was the Burrata board. This spot is a perfect example of a smaller menu done well. We traveled to Libby, MT back in May '24. We were looking for a little bar with good eats. Cabinet Mountain Brewing Company did NOT disappoint. The atmosphere was so comfortable and the staff was excellent. We felt right at home! I had the huckleberry seltzer to start off our lunch and it was absolutely delicious! For lunch, my husband and I both had the CMBC Signature panini and it was probably one of the best panini's I have EVER had. Pretty chill brewery. Beers are decent and a good size food menu. Lots of seating on the inside and outside and pup friendly. I went with a flight just to try out their selection. Also ordered food. My only issue was that the first server forgot to ring in the food. After 45 min, the old server left and we got a young lady who corrected the issue and got our food out quick. We loved our time here! After a long drive, on our way to Glacier, we stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night. We were so happy to have outdoor dining, as it was a gorgeous evening. Tables were set up with a sail/shade cloth abs patrons were gathered at tables. Dogs are welcomed which is also a plus. We started with their beer flight, a great way to sample a variety of their on tap beers. There were a few menu items that we were interested in having, were sold out, but that is to be expected on a Sunday evening. We had an order of the BBQ pulled pork and the pork tacos-both were excellent. We loved our served Kenna, energetic and a great conversationalist. Super knowledgeable about the town and surroundings. We even purchased a very cool ceramic fish (entire wall inside of the bar) and a souvenir tee shirt. Highly recommend!! read more

Service was great - friendly and efficient. Tried a good sampling of beer - IPA, double IPA, stout and red - all excellent. The pulled pork tacos are some of the best pulled pork I've ever eaten. Stuffed with lightly smoked meat and topped with a pile of shredded vegetables. Served with generous sides of salsa and guacamole. Nice setting with indoor and outdoor seating. After a day exploring this amazing part of this gorgeous state what better way to end the day then sitting in the garden at Cabinet Mountain and sipping some delicious beers? While it could be easy to drive through town and not stop, that would be a huge mistake. Cabinet Mountain offers some amazing beers, all brewed on site along with a varied menu of beer friendly munchies. I recommend a sampler so you can get a wide variety of all they offer. I especially enjoyed the Smoke Jumper jalapeño hef that had a wonderful nose of fresh chopped jalapeño with only a subtle taste of the spicy little pepper. You can't go wrong stopping in here. Great beer, great reuben sandwich (and the soup is good too!) and friendly staff! Their other food is good too, it is a limited menu but, you can usually find something that sounds good to eat. Nice, casual, atmosphere with a welcoming personality. The staff and the patrons have always been friendly, so far... They are only open until 8pm so it is the perfect afternoon gathering place. The glasses are always cold and clean. The restroom (I have only been in the women's) is clean and comfortable. Everything is very clean, neat and tidy. I highly recommend their beer selection, including many award winners. I love the Libby Lager and the Yaak Attack! You get a business sized card when you come in and you can have four beers which are tracked on the cards. It seemed kind of strange at first but, these beers have more than the average alcohol content so a limit is necessary! I have always walked in alone and felt welcome. Now it is one of my favorite spots in Libby! You won't be sorry. read more

This place was a wonderful surprise and will be a great destination in LIbby. I am not a beer drinker, but had the one made with spruce tips. It had 0 ibu, so was not bitter and was very pleasant. My husband had the sampler, and brought home a growler of the Pipe Creek pale ale. We had the cheese plate...the waitress did not offer to tell us the kinds of cheeses and did not know the name of one of them when I asked, but they were delicious. We'll be going back. read more
