One of the bartenders asked how his drink was and he said it wasn't great but he would drink it. The middle aged blondish female bartender stepped in and said "You ordered a non alcoholic mojito, it's basically just lemon juice and seltzer water. You are a fucking child." I understand everyone has bad days but that is unacceptable and you chose to work in customer service so at least try to be decent to your customers instead of being rude with the first words that came out of your mouth. We closed our tab and walked out without even finishing our drinks. We will definitely not be going back there ever again. The young man was a very nice guy but the customer service we received from the middle aged lady was enough to leave and never come back.

It says on the door they open at 8 am. For the past few weeks no one is there to open the doors until 8:15-8:20 and each time there are excuses as to why she is late. They are now meeting at another restaurant. We went there for dinner tonight and I specifically asked about an item on the menu that sounds amazing with some unique ingredients for a Caesar salad. I had ordered it before and when it was delivered it was not at all as described on the menu. So this time I asked for clarification as to the ingredients and was assured it would be made as stated on the menu. Well- it arrived just as before only worse. The lettuce was brown and wilted and the special ingredients weren't there. When I mentioned it to the waitress she argued with me saying they were in it. One of the ingredients is cilantro - not something that you can miss. There wasn't any at all- not one sprig. We asked for lemon for our water 3 times and didn't get it for 30 minutes. My daughter asked for more water - they took her glass and never came back. They were not busy at all tonight while we were there and there were at least waitresses. It's really unfortunate in that this is a small town and we don't have many restaurants to choose from. We stood at the bar for a couple of minutes but the lady behind the bar didn't appear to have any interest in serving us, she didn't even look at up so we headed to the back patio. The patio was spacious with great views of a large picnic area as well as the Yaak River. I didn't catch our server's name but he approached us right away and was very friendly and had a great personality. We were never left waiting for service. We only stopped in for a cocktail and snack. I ordered a dirty martini and the others ordered beer. My martini came out very cold, just the way I asked. We ordered Tater Tots for the table and they were hot and crispy. Yaak River Tavern was a nice spot to stop if you are passing through or a drive up from Libby for the day.

This restaurant is close to two bodies of water that are quite close to each other, but never meet - the Bull Lake and a little farther down the. Bull River.

From Brian's can-do-ANYTHING spirit(noxious weeds beware) to the courageous Magpie to Suzanne's magical soaps and no visit is complete without Pork's playful affection for MandiG...the experience keeps you coming back again and again singing "there's no place like Troy!"
