Only downsides were they weren't able to do a miter edge on the counter (or maybe they could but didn't offer it and that's what I would have preferred) and they almost installed a sink that was too small. They emailed me last minute to say they'd do a smaller sink than I had specified and I didn't see the email until it was too late. They were about to do the small sink but fortunately I was onsite and caught the issue in time. They made it work with a proper size sink. Even with these glitches I still was satisfied and would absolutely work with them again. The price was similar to what I'd paid several years ago for a similar sized job so I would consider their overall offering to be very competitively priced.

Cheri is a great kitchen designer, and did a really nice job laying out the kitchen for us. However, the cabinet maker she recommended, Dura Supreme, has been an absolute nightmare. Cheri told us once the order date is set, we could expect the cabinets to be delivered as promised. Dura Supreme was a week late in delivering the bulk of our order, which upset the installation schedule we had planned. Even worse, pieces were missing from the order which took months to receive. For some reason, the corner cabinet doors were missing and it took months for them to come in. Also, without our approval, the manufacturer changed something marked as a single cabinet door on the plans to two smaller double doors, which is not nearly as nice as the single door and required purchasing an additional door handle. We could have had them remake this as a single door, but the manufacturer is so slow an nonresponsive to getting things done that we thought that would never happen, so we just kept what we had. Also, we needed one extra piece for the top corner cabinet that for some reason has been impossible for Dura Supreme to get right. We are now on the 4th version of them sending the piece. The prior attempts were either made with the wrong edging or were the wrong size. I don't understand why this is so difficult--isn't this what they do for a living? While I would recommend Gilmans and Cheri to others looking for kitchen cabinets, I would tell you DO NOT UNDER ANY CONDITION BUY DURA SUPREME CABINETS. The cabinets were delivered and installed in March. It's now August--5 months later--and we still don't have this resolved. Caveat emptor!

KZ was one of the reasons my recent remodel finished in four weeks…read more I started at KZ early in the process after visiting a few other stores and feeling both underwhelmed by their selections and overwhelmed by figuring out what I actually needed. On that first visit I met Bailey, who ended up becoming a key part of the project. I came in with measurements from my contractor, rough layout ideas, and a general sense of what I wanted: drawers instead of mostly base cabinets, quartz countertops, and a way to turn a small, dysfunctional kitchen into something thoughtfully designed with proper prep space. Bailey took those requests and my contractor's initial mockups and developed a layout. I was immediately impressed by his thoughtfulness and attention to detail. He also included things I would not have known to ask for, including a blind corner pull out "peanut" cabinet that turned dead space into some of the most usable storage in the kitchen. He explained his decisions when asked and found solutions as needed, for example suggesting a microwave cabinet when I mentioned not knowing where to put that. I left excited about the project and hopeful it could actually come together. He was consistently responsive to my many questions afterward. He sent estimates for different options so I could compare costs, such as a 4-inch versus full-height backsplash, and shared renderings of the cabinet and countertop combination. Seeing the space rendered that early was a significant moment for me. His involvement continued well beyond placing the order. As the project progressed, Bailey made sure everything was delivered properly, communicated directly with my contractor, answered questions as they came up, kept suggesting ways to improve the project, and made sure everything was set up correctly for countertop templating. The fabricator, Rafael, was also excellent and did a beautiful job. He and Bailey suggested adding another slab of quartz so we could do a full waterfall on the exposed ends of the counter. I took their advice and I am very glad I did. It made a huge difference and made that part of the design feel complete. I was also happy with KZ's pricing and selection. I visited four cabinet and countertop stores, and KZ had the best overall selection I found. Their prices were extremely competitive without sacrificing features or quality. The cabinets have plywood boxes, soft-close doors and drawers, and full-extension drawers, and they arrived fully assembled rather than flat-packed. My contractor had specifically told me not to buy RTA cabinets and these were straightforward for him to install. All of my other interactions with KZ were positive too. Delivery drivers called ahead, other employees in the store were helpful, and the factory expedited part of my order for an additional charge when my fast schedule required it. One thing worth mentioning for anyone considering KZ is the type of experience they provide. This is not a full-service design firm where someone makes every selection and manages every detail for you. I had to be a little assertive on my first visit because there were a limited number of design/sales reps available, but once I connected with Bailey the experience was excellent. You will get the most out of KZ if you come in with measurements and some idea of what you want, are willing to look around and give input, and are okay following up with questions. When I did reach out, Bailey was very responsive. Some practical things to know: they do not offer financing, some costs such as fabrication are settled separately and in cash, and delivery is extra if you cannot pick up the order yourself. Mine was around $500 for 18 cabinets plus panels and hardware, delivered about an hour away. I think some of the savings come from this model, but it helps to have the right expectations. My entire remodel took about four weeks, including a full primary bathroom and extensive changes throughout the house, with the KZ order placed roughly one week before construction began. A lot of the credit goes to my excellent contractor, but KZ's responsiveness, timely deliveries, and efficient work were a major factor in keeping things moving. It was night and day compared with buying my other materials through large home improvement stores. When I had questions or concerns, it usually took a simple text to Bailey to resolve them. I am super happy with the finished kitchen and with my experience at KZ. I recommend them to anyone looking for cabinets or countertops, and I am especially grateful to Bailey and Rafael for how much care they put into my project.

But candidly, I didn't think too much about it. I guess fixtures don't excite me too much, or perhaps I was distracted with other things. Fast forward to 2026. A tub faucet broke, and I went to DPS to see how to get a replacement. Marcus was incredibly nice and efficient, basically saying "leave this with me." He tracked down the supplier, contacted them, advocated for me, and the next thing you know, a brand new replacement arrives in the mail. I was incredibly impressed with DPS and Marcus, and also appreciate the manufacturer - California Faucets - for standing by their products. Based on this experience, I'd recommend DPS to anyone.

We just had another visit today, and the experience was once again exceptional. The technician not only fixed the obvious issues, but proactively checked every drawer and cabinet in the house. We had an 8:00 a.m. appointment; he arrived early and waited in his vehicle until precisely 8:00. (No 4-hour arrival window with Keane.) I even assumed one pantry door was permanently warped--it is now perfectly aligned. Having worked with many contractors and vendors over the years, I continue to be blown away, and grateful, for the professionalism, craftsmanship, kindness, and consistency Keane Kitchens provides. This kind of long-term commitment is incredibly rare. Choosing Keane Kitchens was one of the best decisions we made among the hundreds involved in our remodel, and their longevity proves our experience is not an anomaly. It's exactly the kitchen I envisioned...light, clean, and complimentary to our early 1960's home. He gave us a couple of options for cabinet finishes with detailed quotes and helped us select an option within our budget. He's busy and couldn't start for 3 or 4 weeks which gave us time to select and order a new countertop/backsplash, sink, faucet, and hardware. His countertop subcontractor did an excellent cutting and installation job too. John's crew worked M-Th which gave us enough downtime during the construction that lasted about 3 weeks. He used the same two guys throughout the project. Ed and Mynor showed up on time everyday and were hardworking and neat. He gave us paint to match the cabinets and we painted the interiors to exactly match the Thermofoil wrapped doors and frames. After 20 years as a construction manager at K-12 schools, I can honestly say John is one of the best contractors I've worked with. There were a few unexpected challenges during construction (as expected with older homes), but Daniel handled them quickly and explained options clearly without pressure. The finished ADU looks amazing. The layout feels much bigger than 450 sqft, and the finishes came out clean and modern. Ashley Robinson at Cabinets and Beyond really knows his work. He was very instrumental in getting our kitchen remodel done. He must have been at our house 3 or 4 times to make sure that the order was an exact fit. The only down side was that the one of the cabinets was damaged in shipping and another had two drawers instead of four drawers. It took the manufacturer, Omega, 3-4 weeks to get it corrected which slowed the construction process. However, this is not the fault of Cabinets and Beyond. I want to give a huge shout-out to Cynthia, a senior designer at K&B Cabinets; she knew that we would not be coming back to K&B for a new purchase, but in addition to doggedly getting Showplace to track our order down when they wrongly thought they weren't the manufacturer, she also helped us find an installer and advised on the purchase of repair parts after learning that Showplace didn't warranty the broken part. If this is the kind of wonderful service you get when you are not a "real customer," imagine the service you'll get when you are actually purchasing from them!

We bought kitchen cabinets from European Cabinets and Design Studios during a home/kitchen remodel…read morelast year. We selected European Cabinets after evaluating several cabinet companies. The biggest reason is that they are not cabinet sellers, they are kitchen designers. Lena Pekker, their designer visited our home, understood our needs over a few meetings, and designed a beautiful and functional kitchen for us. While this was primarily centered around their cabinets, she also helped us with colors, fixtures and appliance choices. Secondly, their Italian cabinets have unique features that we loved and couldn't find elsewhere. We found the perfect color and finish for our decor. Thirdly, prices are very competitive for comparable design and quality. Alex in their installation team handled the installation professionally. Overall it was a pleasure to work with Robert Berkovich (Owner) and the entire team. I highly recommend them.
