DONT BUY HERE , ONCE THE SALE IS MADE YOUR ON YOUR OWN. we were building a home. the custom cabinets we purchased , our builder couldn't use. so we had to order something since time was running out on our lease and we needed to get into our home. as I write this we are still dealing with cabinet issues ( nov 19,2023) we ordered our cabinets the first week of July 2023. we were verbally told 3-5 weeks. the cabinets took 12 weeks. once they arrived 4 were broken, 2 never arrived, we were told by delivery person they are being replaced. so out of 11 cabinets 6 were broken. our contractor had to try and fix them because we couldn't wait another 12 weeks. ( more labor costs) cabinet to go basically could only reorder replacements that's it. ( 12 more weeks) the company who made the cabinets offered no money back. Summary * once you purchase Your on your own.don't expect any help if your cabinets are no good. *lied about time frame for delivery to get our purchase 12 weeks plus additional 4 weeks for replacement parts. *Have no way to track your cabinets once you order *Cabinets were broken *no compensation for major Inconveniance increased out carrying cost by 3 months. 15K$ One cabinet couldn't fix. so we altered kitchen lay out. I honestly had a terrific experience with Cabinets to Go - I'm a little confused by some of the negative reviews. We redid a pantry with the cabinets, and they are quality-made and the service was great. I would love it if the written instructions were clearer - they're pretty terrible. However, the YouTube videos were very good. They just need to make a few more videos for all of the cabinet types. There are variations in how they're put together. However, once you assemble one cabinet, they really become self-explanatory. We had a scratch in one of the glass doors and they replaced it without any hassle. I kind of wished I'd done this for our main kitchen - we would have saved a ton of money! read more

I heard about Cabinets to Go! through a contractor that did some work for me. I decided to check it out because he claimed a client of his got the cabinets at a really good deal. I stopped by along the way to Ikea in Stoughton. It was a little bit tough to find, but I found it (look out for the Lumber Liquidators sign). It is in the same lot. It turns out CTG was started by the same guy that started LL. The showroom was pretty small and disheveled. I definitely go the feeling that people basically came here for the low pricing, so they didn't really need any staff. I came on a Saturday afternoon and there was 1 guy in the warehouse and 1 guy on the floor. Very understaffed for the number of people that were coming through that place. Upon closer examination of the cabinets, they seemed to be pretty low quality. I soon found out that they were made in China, although they were plywood box construction instead of engineered hardwood. There were imperfections in the aesthetics. The guy working that day told me that this was the first CTG location in the country and the #1 grossing one as well. He said they grossed about $5 million last year and take about 10 cabinet orders per day! Apparently if you place your order by Sunday at 5 PM, you will get your cabinets that Thursday. If you place your order on Monday, you will have to wait until the following Thursday. Sunday night is when all the orders get processed. read more

On November 8th, my wife and I returned to CTG in Braintree, as we thought about changing from quartz to granite. Once again, Chris L. greeted us at the door, and helped us out. We are installing a new kitchen in Florida, but wanted to see what the changes would look like. In our conversation, I mentioned that I was looking for the 24 month no interest plan. Chris said that we would be able to get this. He also suggested a change to our kitchen layout, and showed us the 3D design. We loved it, and immediately changed our order to include the new cabinets. By the time we left, Chris had placed our order, with the 24 month plan, and gave the credit to the original sales person. This was the second time that Chris has helped my wife and I with our kitchen plans. Thanks for your help Chris. It is very much appreciated!! read more

Gabage service and fake promise. Every time they told me that they would contact me back by certain date or time, never did they fulfill their promises, 0 promise fulfilled to date. Associate named Hope told me that my cabinets will be arrived next tuesday if I order before thursday, that didnt happen, took her words and that postponed my project. Cabinets to go customer care number is absolutely trash, their system is down every day, and they talk condescendingly but they can't do anything as though you call them to have their attitude. Later, my cabinets finally arrived, and I found a bag of door handles that I didnt order. I called and associate named Hope answered the phone, I told her the situation, she said to me the door handles was on my order, I should have looked at the contract I signed. I signed the contracts with another associate. I told her the 2 estimates she ever emailed me didnt include door handles, I deliberately told the associate I signed contract with not to order door handles. She told me the products are not refundable and it was my fault not reading my order. I told her you can't do that, you can't put items customer didnt order into their purchase and make them pay for it. Is that too much to ask for a refund for something that I didnt purchase? She said, "yes, it is too much to ask for me". I called many times over weeks to discuss the layout of cabinets because they want me to come in in person but I couldn't. Every time associate Hope told me she was serving other customers or she was busy, I was like ok, I understand that, you go busy and I will call back. But she obviously take advantage of my kindness and think I will always take her attitude. I detest their so called services, with my door handles case, it is as though a grocery cashier slipped items in your bag secretly and when you find out later, she told you the items are not refundable, it is your fault not checking your receipt before you walk out the door. I hope these cabinets to go people keep receiving these kind of services they gave their customers, so they know what outrageous is. in reply to below comment: your store associate Hope indeed promised me that if I ordered before thursday my cabinets will be here next Tuesday, that's a fact. Why are you vouching for your associate and you weren't even there? From what I have talked with you on the phone as well as this comment, you keep blaming me for removing my kitchen too soon, this was discussed with Hope already, no surprises. I reconfirmed with her a few times about the delivery date because I have everything lined up. Do not buy from this place! I purchased cabinets from them and it was the biggest mistake. The product quality is poor and with many defects. You cannot return defective products because they charge you 25% re-stocking fee - watch out for the fine prints in the receipt. They won't tell you up front. You have to contact the main office to get defective parts replace and their customer service is a real joke. They will stonewall you and not return calls. I have never dealt with a retail outlet worse than this one! read more

In the initial stages of the purchase, I was pleased with the deal, however, things began to go south at the first adjustment we had to make - the measurements changed, so we needed to adjust the order, but when that was completed, the designer failed to include the original style (EI glass doors, knobs, handles, etc.). To make the base for the farmhouse sink, they required me to purchase an extra cabinet - I understand this is ridiculous. Install done happy that I have partial kitchen functioning until the tile guy came and noticed that there was no panel between the cabinet and the refrigerator; call Cabinets to go - they said they need to get an investigation team to look into - someone called to verify that the panel is missing - then they follow up with an email stating that since the installation was fully paid, an investigation must be conducted -  yeah, for $14K I expect a better product - it's been a week and no response - stay tuned for update.meanwhile DO NOT GO TO CABINETS TO GO IF YOU VALUE YOUR $ AND MENTAL HEALTH read more

Nice Cabinets - Terrible Service. The cabinets themselves are beautiful with soft close doors/drawers, all wood construction solid wood lazy Susan's etc. but the service was a nightmare. I seriously regret not spending the money to go somewhere else. The day I came in for the design meeting, the associate asked me to go home and confirm my measurements before placing my order. I called and confirmed I had the correct measurements and provided my credit card, he emailed me the specifics of layout and told me he placed the order. When I tried to pick up my cabinets two weeks late, I found out my credit card was charged but the order was never placed. So I had to wait an additional two weeks to get the cabinets in. When I finally picked up my cabinets, the cabinets he ordered didn't match the measurements that I gave him, so I had to re-order the cabinet again and delay the install another two weeks. I wasn't charged the restocking fee for this because it was their screw up, which I appreciated. During the original design meeting, I include a pull out trash kit and a tray insert, which was never ordered. I had to follow up three times before it was actually ordered. They did make up for this by discounting the pull out trash kit when it was eventually ordered. Overall it seems like orders are constantly screwed up and they offer discounted extras to help fix the problem. Because of my 7'-6" ceilings, It was recommended to go with 30" upper cabinets. There are certain cabinets (such as the deep over the frig cabinet) that aren't made for the 30". I was told to order a completely different cabinet and it could easily be modified in the field. Once the installer was onsite, he confirmed this isn't typical and the cabinets should have been ordered at full height (36"). I re-ordering all my upper cabinets for 36" and paid the 25% restocking fee to fix this. To make matters worse, the 12" cabinet over the microwave was never reordered as an 18", when I asked about this I was told they don't make it so I kept original cabinet, but after double checking the website, found out they do make the 18" cabinet, it was just not included in the order so now the cabinet it too tall and it looks off. During the design meeting, I was hesitant about ordering the cabinets because I was concerned about putting them together myself. He assured me that Cabinets to Go just started coordinating the install with contractors that have been installed the cabinets for years so I could work through Cabinets to Go to have a contractor assemble and install them for $89 per cabinet (14 cabinets = $1,246). This was a scam. After I placed the order, I got a quote for $3,500 total ($250/cabinet) for the assembly and install. After calling the sales associate and reminding him this is not what we discussed, he recommended a second installer separate from Cabinets to Go that he "personally knew" did great work and would complete the project closer to my price range. The installer quoted the job at 2 days for $1,700. After 2 1/2 weeks it still wasn't done, he made constant errors that I had to fight him to fix, including installing all of my upper cabinets upside down. It was a nightmare. Once he realized that per our agreed contract, I wouldn't provide the final 10% payment until the project was complete, and wanted a confirmed finish date in writing, he walked off the job. I had to hire a second contractor and spend significantly more money trying to fix his mistakes. I hate to give a bad review and wonder if it was just the individual sales associate I worked with. The rest of the sales team seemed more professional and competent when dealing with the aftermath of the issues. read more

This is WAY over due, but over a year (or more) ago my husband and I were shopping for new kitchen cabinets! We were completely gutting our kitchen - taking walls down and everything. We had an idea of what we wanted but unsure of the process. When we went to cabinets to go in Braintree , we sat down with Keane. He was so helpful and guided us through the whole process. He helped us layout our new kitchen ! As construction went on, we had to make a few adjustments... each time meaning we had to go into the store and update the layout again. Keane was patient, funny, and didn't make us feel bad at all that we had to redo measurements and such because our kitchen was being pieced together in the process. He was the best! I placed an order at Cabinets to go in Braintree, MA last week. Nate helped me he was OK. I mean not the best but I understood that it was probably his first time having to deal directly with a non-Caucasian human being. Anyways, I received my cabinets today and what Nate NEVER mention was that the cabinets did not come assembled. I called spoke to Nate and 2 other people there, and they didn't even care to listen what I have to say. They claimed that is how they have been selling cabinets for the last 10 years and that I should have known. Nate also claimed that he told me, but even the delivery guy said that they hear the same complaint all most all the time when they deliver the cabinets to costumers. CABINETS TO GO don't tell their customer that the cabinet do not come assemble so when the costumer try to return the merchandise they want to charge a 25% restocking fee. Be aware DO NOT BUY there! I purchased refinished hardwood floors about a month ago. I can't say enough good things about the sales and service team. We worked with Nate who was instrumental in getting our floors delivered in a very short time period, within 5 days of our order since our installer had a last minute opening. Floors are beautiful 1st quality and pricing was even better. My only complaint was that many of the boxes had very short pieces 12-18 inches in length which my installer was not pleased with. But we bought the 10% extra that all recommend and pulled pieces from the extra boxes. Honestly I don't even notice the short pieces any longer. I recently ordered cabinets from C2G for the 1st time. I was skeptical as I was use to cabinets delivered assembled and with the support of on-site measuements and guarantees. The cabinets were delivered as promised, however, there we some issues with the complete order. C2G did get the remainder of the order back out to me within 48-hours. The staff assisted with recommending a contractor who offerred a fair and reasonable price to assemble the cabinets. I am working with the store to replace a damaged cabinet undiscovered by me but reported by the contractor. The quality of the product and service I received was worth the initial risk. I saved thousands from many other options I had. Chris Barbaras, Sales Manager is just Fantastic. It is a busy place because of the prices/offerings so a bit of patience goes a long way, however the end result is great. Chris has been consistent, emailing works great and he is a pleasant and extremely knowledgeable salesperson. Did you know he designed the kitchen in the HGTV house from 2015 on Martha's Vineyard? Showroom has been completely remodeled and is gorgeous. I had one issue with a cabinet door and emailed Customer Care with a picture. They called 20 minutes later, I was unavailable to answer. We decided to completely gut our kitchen in 2011, and planned to re-build it ourselves. (I'm an avid DIYer, but this was my first kitchen remodel) We had picked up the CTG catalog at a home show in Wilmington MA, and decided to take a look since the price was attractive. As others have noted, the showroom in Braintree isn't exactly pretty, but that's not why you go there. We had all of our measurements and knew roughly what we wanted, but nonetheless we sat with Chris and he helped us plan it out, and was able to produce for us a visual schematic with the dimensions of all the cabinets that we'd need/want, in 3-D. We bought extra components (side panels, island panel, filler strips, kick plate, etc.), and the whole cost came in at approx. $5,500 including tax. And we did two walls, with fridge panels, 2 lazy susans, floor-to-ceiling pantry, as well as an island and additional wall cabinets. We used the victorian ivory style. Yes, the lazy susans are a PIA to assemble, and maybe someone should post a video showing one being assembled, as this would really go a long way. But In My Opinion, there was no other place where we could a better intersection of quality/aesthetics/price. Yes, we had a few minor issues that took a few phone calls to rectify, as well as one cabinet that had to be returned as it was a defect, but if I had to do another kitchen again today, I would use GTG in a heartbeat. Long story short, we sold that house 2 months ago, and the kitchen really sold it for us. We sold the house for more than we were asking. Probably more a factor of the strong real estate market, and the town we live in, but the point is that most people who viewed the house wanted to just stand in the kitchen and admire it. We bought a brand new house, with a huge desiger kitchen, but I miss the one that we did over using cabinets from CTG. We are in the process of putting cabinets in our laundry room, and we just placed our order with CTG. So if you know what you're doing, go for it. If small hiccups tend to cause you to lose sleep at night, well, then go somewhere else and/or have someone else do it all for you instead of doing it yourself, but my guess is that you'll pay more. Cabinets look nice but the screws did not match the descriptions and were not in the correct quantity for most of the cabinets. I have had an incomplete kitchen for months because the upper corner cabinet did not come in with my order and so I have been unable top put the top cabinets in without it. It has taken seven weeks since I picked up my order for the cabinet to come in and I was lied to each week I called by the manager saying it would be on the next truck and arriving the following week. It took me having someone else go in on my part to speak to the manager face to face before he admitted that he lied about it being on the truck and only then after waiting 6 weeks did he offer to ship it through UPS. We spent over $3,000 on our kitchen and the least we expected was to not be consistently lied to, and to have had the UPS be the first option after the cabinet was missing from our order. This has been a terrible experience, the customer support is a joke, and I will not be recommending to anyone that they go through Cabinets To Go for their kitchen. read more

She reached out via email and was fast and informative when trying to figure out the beginnings of what we wanted for our kitchen remodel. We then came in for a Saturday morning - went over the entire rendering, choices of material, etc. Probably took 2 hours! Than we ended up doing the measurements through C2G and went back for a final meeting and really narrowed down the details. She's been on top of everything in terms of ordering, delivery, or answering questions. Cabinets To Go has emotionally scarred me beyond words.....but they deserve a terrible review to warn others. As a new homeowners with a kitchen straight from the Brady Bunch era my husband and I had sticker shock when shopping for new cabinets. We thought that we had found a hidden gem when we came upon C2Go....real wood, half the price, nice designs....what's not to like?? We were a little unsure of the assemble yourself aspect, but we decided to bite the bullet and save the money. After ordering the cabinets in January they were finally ready to be delivered in March. Upon delivery we inspected all of the boxes to be sure we received all of our merchandise and this is where the nightmare began. We had only received about 3/4 of the full correct order and many of our boxes arrived with footprints on them. We were told not to call Braintree about any issues, but to call "Customer Care" (a laughable name) in California. And so began a two month nightmare of tracking down not only the missing parts of our kitchen, but also replacing all of the damaged items that came in. In the end we only received 50% of our $5,000 order up front. The other 50% was either missing or damaged. Customer Care was horrendous - no calls backs and no follow up. Also, after months of confusions I came to find out that Chris, the store manager, sold us cabinets that were being DISCONTINUED after we specifically said we did NOT want the discontinued items, but the NEW items. By the grace of God, hundreds of phone calls, threatening to talk to the BBB and the regional sales manager I was able to put the puzzle of missing cabinets together. After our kitchen was half installed and we were told that they were no longer working with the manufacturer in China and it could be up to six months before our remaining cabinets MIGHT be available. One singular employee in Braintree - Ken (who I am sure is gone now b/c is was the only one with more than two brain cells) was really my saving grace at the end. If we were to do it over again I'd rather wait and save up more money to buy cabinets from a reputable company. Or, honestly, stick with my 70's kitchen. Every time a Cabinets to Go ad comes on while I'm watching HGTV I want to throw bombs at the TV. I am actually mad that HGTV plugs them so much. They are a DIY'ers nightmare come true. The rage and dissatisfaction I feel towards this company can't be summed up in a yelp review, but I really hope this stops you in your tracks from buying! You are better off buying ANYWHERE else. This is the second kitchen that I purchase from Cabinets To Go and everything has been great. I purchased the first kitchen two years ago for the small second floor apartment of my two-family home, but never wrote a review. The cabinets are the cherry and they are just beautiful! This year I purchased the white shaker cabinets for my 500 square foot kitchen on the first floor and my family and I put them together and installed them ourselves. Pretty simple except for the fact that we found out our floors aren't level! Salesperson/Designer HALEY was very knowledgeable and patient. We took her a drawing with measurements and she helped us solidify our ideas by designing the kitchen on her computer and giant "tv" screen right in front of us. She spent all the time necessary with us without stressing out about issues with walls and beams. Very professional! After spending a few hours with us one day, we told her we needed to sleep on it and she was very gracious. One week later we went back to her and made the purchase. The cabinets came in on time and the service has been very good. I'm all out of kitchens to gut for now, but I highly recommend shoppers go see Haley in Braintree, she'll take care of you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! We ordered cabinets from this place on 12/17 and today is 2/11 and we are still waiting for them to deliver the last pieces of our original order! First off, the cabinets were measured incorrectly (by them!). Secondly, the delivery of the correct cabinets took another 2 weeks ... they "don't overnight or rush deliver anything". Lastly, every time I call they say they are too busy and will call me back but it has not happened yet! I keep calling daily and leaving messages but no reply. The cabinets are ok but the face of one of the doors is cracked and I can only assume that they will not be returning my phone call to replace it any time soon. We have been without a kitchen for over 2 months because of this place ... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! It might sound like a good price, but after you add up the cost of take-out for 2 months it will cost you more than custom cabinets (and take twice as long)! read more
