I would give zero stars if I could. Cabinets-to-Go has been an absolute nightmare to work with. From the very beginning, they sold us a kitchen without panel-ready cabinets for our refrigerator and dishwasher--something we didn't discover until after installation. Their "fix" was to cut pieces to size, which looked cheap and sloppy. On top of that, the cabinets themselves were inconsistent in color and grain, clearly defective. When we raised our concerns, they initially seemed responsive, requesting photos and sending a representative out. The rep openly admitted the cabinets were subpar, told us the line had received so many complaints that it had been discontinued, and assured us he'd get approval for replacements. Six months later, nothing has been resolved. During this time, multiple people from the company contacted us promising the cabinets would be replaced. Every time we followed up--because they never reached out proactively--we were told the same story: they were still waiting for "executive approval." No progress, no resolution, no accountability. We've finally decided to walk away and spend additional money with another company to finish our kitchen--something that should have been completed over a year ago. If you are thinking about using Cabinets-to-Go, think again. Should anything go wrong, you will be stuck with defective cabinets and no help at all. This company does not stand behind the quality of what they sell. Save yourself the time, frustration, and money--go elsewhere. read more

I got my cabinets around 5-6 years ago thinking that I wanted to have wood instead of artificial materials and giod quality of cabinets that would last decades. Unfortunately the wood happened to be the cheapest one and started being eaten by termites, even though I fumigate my house every year. I have to replace most of them now. read more

My name is Maryellen, I bought cabinets for my kitchen remodel. Paid for thier professional to come and measure. I had a concern about a pipe that needed to be covered by the cabinets. After all was said and done the cabinets are to short. They need some kind of extension. The problem is that now my contractor is charging me an extra fee for the extra work. I do not feel that I should have to pay for thier mistake. What was the purpose of having them come and measure. It is not like the pipe was hidden. Absolutely lousy customer experience and incompetent associates. My wife and I went there 4 weeks ago and were saddled with a newly hired (and completely untrained) associate named Pamela. We brought all measurements and images of our existing kitchen, including detailed measurements on the desired cabinetry for the remodel but poor Pamela was just so overwhelmed with incompetence that she wanted to meet again the following Saturday. We went ahead and set the time and I even called her on the Thursday prior to confirm but when we arrived there on Saturday morning she fumbled around her computer for 10 minutes only to finally admit that SHE HAD DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for our design and yet had us drive 30 minutes to the store. She naturally blamed management, no overtime, underpaid, blah blah blah before promising to make things right and prioritize our design. Fast forward two more weeks and we still haven't heard squat from Pamela. How utterly unprofessional. Please don't waste your money or time dealing with this company in St. Petersburg, FL' My parents entrusted Cabinets To Go to renovate their kitchen and install new flooring in 2021. The installers laid the flooring right on top of the existing vinyl without putting down a proper backing. The contractor told my parents to contact them directly if they had any problems. A few months later, my mother noticed that there were spaces forming on the floor between the planks where they interlocked. She contacted Nathan, the contractor, several times to report that she was having problems with the floors and he came out to assess and "repair" the floor on five separate occasions during the one year warranty period. Nathan's quick fixes did not rectify the problem because the floors were not installed properly. The gaps between the planks have gotten wider and are a safety issue, especially for my aging parents. I contacted Cabinets To Go to request assistance with resolving this issue. They sent someone out to inspect the floors and he confirmed that the contractor who was hired by Cabinets To Go, did not install the flooring properly. Christy from Cabinets To Go contacted my mother and said that they will cover the materials for the floor but since my parents' one year warranty has expired, Cabinets To Go will NOT pay for this flooring to be installed. This is absolutely ludicrous! My mother reported having problems during the period that the warranty was in effect. Nathan, the contractor, told her to contact him if she had any more problems and then he dragged his feet or didn't return her calls in a timely manner. As consumers, my parents had no way of knowing that the installers did a piss poor job with the installation. They went into their retirement savings to have their kitchen renovated and entrusted Cabinets To Go to provide a quality product and installation. They have already paid for the materials and installation on this botched job once, and they should not be expected to pay again. My parents did not go out and contract with Nathan's company to perform the work, Cabinets To Go did! As a result, Cabinets To Go should be completely responsible for rectifying the problem. I can't believe that they would even suggest that my parents pay another dime for anything after the inspector confirmed that their subcontractor did not install the floors properly. The floors are a safety hazard and need to be repaired before my mother falls and gets hurt. read more

I bought a kitchen and flooring for my home. Within 3 months of installation the floors began to warp. They were Luxury plank waterproof vinyl. I reported the bad installation they sent out an independent appraiser who agreed that it was a bad installation because they never installed a vapor underlaying that the product specifically required. We are now involved in a lawsuit with this horrible company who won't accept responsibly for their subcontractors. They also have no clue about the product specifications. We saw this business advertised on TV. They were having a sale on cabinets. In fact, it said they had $10 all wood cabinets, which of course is a steal but seemed like they were trying to get old inventory. We arrived at 1pm. There were 3 cabinets for $10. Please see photo. Talk about deceptive advertising!!!! Since we were already there, we looked around and both sales people were helping customers so we waited and waited- there was no acknowledgement. Finally we walked the small showroom for the 5th time and one of the employees (manager I believe) said they were short staffed. It seems to me, if you're going to have a sale, you would have appropriate staffing. We asked about pricing and he said someone would help us if we have measurements. We had measurements and we continued to wait. Finally the other associate was available. We provided him with measurements and he gave us an estimate. Let's just say it was nowhere near $10 per cabinet! It was approximately $2700 but the chocolate cabinets we selected were on sale until the end of July so it came down to $2400. We left with our estimate and I wanted to know how much the installation would cost. I called and it cost $64 per cabinet. Do your homework and shop around! read more

I'm not one to write reviews, especially not bad ones. Yet, here I go. Although I've requested a call from the Area Manager, Michael, I've yet to hear from him! I'm LIVID! I've spent 15K to date at Cabinets To Go, and I must tell you, my experience to date with the Cabinets To Go in Hallandale, FL 33009 location thus far has been frustrating at best! I've been working with Kay and Lisa; my biggest frustration would be the customer service received and the apparent lack of training (probably not their fault). Remodeling is stressful (primarily your first remodel), but adding incompetent sales associates set me over the edge. *My initial cabinet/backsplash/countertop order was placed on 1/10/22, with a delivery date to the facility of 2/4/22. I called on 2/4/22 to ensure my cabinets had arrived and was told they were not on the truck or delivered by Kay. It irritated me that Kay had no sense of urgency or an apology! Then I called back the same day to ensure that my order would be on the next delivery; speaking to Lisa, I was told my order was indeed there! REALLY? *Fast forward to my backsplash installation - while the installers were placing my backsplash, they asked me where the backsplash trim was. The border was never offered, not ordered by Kay (remember that this was my first remodel and I don't know from backsplashes, let alone trim)! The project had to be postponed - halfway completed as the trim was needed to complete the project, not to mention that the tile amount ordered, based on the exact measurement provided to Kay, was inaccurately ordered!! I had to reschedule the backsplash completion for another week. *So I return to Cabinets To Go to order the backsplash trim, an additional box of backsplash tile (12 in a box), extra cabinets to go over my fridge (new project). *I return to pick up my order, and everything is going well (besides a very LONG WAIT for my purchased items), and then I'm told they can't locate my backsplash trim. Please keep in mind Id already received two calls that it had arrived. They finally found the trim, and I was told to pull around to the loading dock to collect my purchases. *As the items mentioned were brought out to me, the gentleman handed me one tile. I explained that it was supposed to be a case of 12; he sent me back in to deal with Lisa. UGH! *When I brought this to Lisa's attention, she told me that she was still "learning this stuff," What did I want her to do about it? UNBELIEVABLE! Lisa or Kay took Abosulety no ownership of the error in the situation! *So now my backsplash project is being pushed another week due to incompetence! NO COMPENSATION WAS OFFERED FOR MY INCONVENIENCE, LOST TIME FROM WORK TO ACCOMMODATE ADDITIONAL INSTALLATIONS, OR THE BOARDING OF MY DOG WHILE ADDITIONAL INSTALLATIONS ARE COMPLETED! Went in to sw 17 ave store sat down with a lady ( Marlene ) showed her my drawing of what I wanted (a wall book shelf) first we sat for 1/2 hour she said her internet was giving her problems , she took down specs made copy of my drawing and told to give her a few days which I did 9 days to be exact, when I called her she told she had a customer in front of her (12 noon) to give her some time , she would call me back at 4:15 pm she had not returned my call, I called her she told me she forgot again ,and that it would be too expensive anyway among other excuses, by that point I was not happy . I told her if she didn't want to do it she should've told me from the beginning instead of waisting my time and hers. I thought she was very unprofessional and you don't do that. !!!! After researching many companies to do out kitchen remodel we decided to go with Cabinets to go in Hallandale. Our sales person was Richard at the time and he was great but no longer works there. We purchased cabinets in Feb 2021 didn't get them installed until late July early Aug because they were on backorder. Our upper cabinets have glass door which were on back order until about Sept. The upper cabinets were not installed properly and are now slagging, the pistons and arms for the glass doors bent and broke so doors won't close probably. I have been calling, emailing, providing photos to several different people and no one wants to take responsibility for the terrible work since Dec 2021. It is June 2022 and we still have not been able to get a manager to address and correct the issue. I have spoken to Kaye, Ownie, Steve from the Hallandale beach location. I was told they will reach out to area manager Michael Desmond haven't hear anything from him. I have spoke several times to Mason from customer service and they do not resolve anything either. They continue to ask for the same information, photos etc. I cannot stress enough to stay away from dealing with Cabinets to Go they are a joke to work with. They are great at taking your money but not fulfilling their end of the commitment by provide excellent service or the proper installation of your cabinets. It is beyond unprofessional and unsatisfactory their lack of customer service to resolve or make sure the client is happy with the product or work performed by the installers they work with. Highly recommend! Our kitchen designer specialist Kay was just amazing! So helpful and patient with great ideas. They have great choices for everything you need to upgrade your kitchen. ------ The ONLY reason I give it a 1 star (if only I could go less than 1) is duo to their irresponsible and unprofessional installation company. They take your money and it's like they disappear from earth. ------ Cabinets to go is a great company, and Kay has been a great help with designing our dream upgrade kitchen and bathroom BUT DO NOT USE THEIR INSTALLATION COMPANY! DO NOT USE EXCEL INSTALLATIONS. They are just the worse company to deal with, we have been trying to get in contact with them to finish our paper work for the permit and its like they don't exist. We have called and email and nothing. They are impossible to get in contact with, impossible to work with, just horrible experience. Just don't waste your money unless you want to go on a wild goosechase and phone tag. When the contractor was supposed to come in to sign the permit to begin the work, him and his wife IVONNE left for vacation without letting us know so there goes our day and time. I still have 53 boxes of flooring tiles in my living room because I KEEP GETTING THE ROUND AROUND WITH EXCEL for 4 months because they refuse to help with the process of permit and provide the paper work and that doesn't not include the 50+ boxes of costum cabinets that are about to arrive in June. How unprofessional can they get? It's like they don't want business, but take your money quick. Cabinets to go in Hallandale needs to do a better job with their installation company, because unfortunately, it's giving cabinets to go a bad reputation. They need to find a company that cares about their costumers. If you go into cabinets To go, before paying for installation check who the installing company is. Top top it off, they lost our measurements for permit pulling and didn't create a blueprint, I literally had to get my measuring tape and draw my apartment for the permit AND then again, KAY was a champ and help us with the blueprints. What is the point of spending the extra $5000-$6000 for installation and removal or everything when noone of that is being taking care of and IVONNE doesn't answer calls or emails, nor return calls. The only reason I gave it a 5 star was because Kay went to battle for us with freaking excel and is still working with us. The reason I say paperwork and permit and measurements for blueprint is because we live in a HOA condo that demands those papers to make sure the building exterior and interior look appropriate. cabinets to go is great but their installers are just the fucking worse. I was extremely disappointed with many aspects of this establishment. We came with measurements to redo our kitchen. The salesman acted as if he had to exert to much effort to try to assist us in designing a plan. If we knew how to design a kitchen why would I go there. We thought that we would go there and because they have the tools, they would give us a basic design. That didn't happen. He had no input at all. A complete waste of time. We walked out of there and headed to another cabinet place a few feet from there called Tops cabinet where the man there seemed to be more interested and was able to give us different ideas as well as options. I have ordered from Cabinets to Go 5 times. The Hollywood location has consistently dropped in service since my first order several years ago. With the discount the cabinets are at best a discount cabinet shop. However with assembly and hanging, they end up being higher priced than Home Depot or Lowe's cabinets. Anyone who knows construction knows that there are delays and unexpectedes. Do not expect them to work with you on timeline or price discounts after your initial order anyway. Also had to call national for wrong parts in boxes twice, and repeatedly received the wrong replacement orders. I lost 3 weeks to their mistakes. Whoever Michael, the store manager is, because I have never met or worked with him, doesn't really care to keep customers happy or as customers at all, and the sales team likes to scapegoat him as the reason for all decisions. They have lost a good customer. Not sorry to go. Save yourself time and energy and go to Lowe's. read more

I had the pleasure to meet Garrett in the Schertz, Texas store who had the patience, understanding, and expertise in planning and drawing my kitchen. Once I returned home to Florida and met with my contractor, there were some changes needed to what Garrett put together, so we visited the closest local store in Hallandale, Florida. Oni came to the rescue! She was able to understand the changes I needed. Being extremely skilled, Oni worked with Garrett in Texas to make those necessary changes and together, I will have the kitchen of my dreams! I'm so glad I came here to get a price for my new kitchen. I came in a bit skeptical and left extremely impressed. This place knows their stuff! I sat with Will, who is from the Orlando location and was there at the store temporarily. He looked at my plans and got started pronto! He was very knowledgeable, super patient, and he whipped up my dream kitchen better than what I had dreamed of. The prices is what shocked me. In a good way. These cabinets are good quality, and the estimate was two-thirds the cost I had estimated. In addition, these kitchen cabinets have a lifetime warranty and is transferable if you sell your home. What a great deal! I was very impressed by the product, the service, the warranty so much that I'm thinking of them doing my laundry room and my other bathrooms. We ordered our cabinet back in Nov. 6th., the manager Hector - (he was a wonderful guy, very helpful and honest) showed us some pieces still missing and the system said it will arrive on Dec. 11th. On Dec. 11th, we went to see Hector, when he input our order to their system, the missing parts NOW show it won't be here till Jan. 30th. 2015. We depend on the cabinet to finish our kitchen, and cabinet-to-go did not even realise that people are rely on your product for construction. My husband and I have always installed them ourselves. The associate by the name Fernando has been our go to guy. He helps us choose the right cabinets and helped us design it. Ordered a complete kitchen cabinet with a cost of over $7000. Placed order on 2/7/16 and was told all cabinets would be in by 3/30/16. I think they meant 3/30 2017. Thus place is a sham and the worst customer service you could every think of. The new manager Andrea informed us in February things had changed and the company was more responsive, Bullshit they never called us one time regarding the order and we gave sent 5 emails and numerous calls and not one time have they responded. It is now over 2 1/2 months since the order was placed. We placed 1/2 down on our credit card and are now filing a dispute with the credit card company for fraud. These people are a goddamn scam, have no concern for customer service and are extremely unprofessional. Stay clear of any Cabinets to go store anywhere in the USA. if you go into any website and look at people's reviews nationwide there are thousands of complaints dealing with all the same complaints. The tell a great story about prompt service but in reality be prepared to wait 4-6 months for the order. You can get custom made cabinets made in 30 days. This company are a bunch of frauds and their affiliate Lumbet Liquidators is dealing with flooring that is manufactured in China with formaldehyde . My kitchen has been installed and I love my new Cabinets to Go cabinets! I purchased them in Malibu white shaker style. I couldn't be happier with the cabinets themselves. I considered a number of different cabinet companies from custom to RTA cabinets such as these in making my decision. I chose Cabinets to Go because of the seemingly good quality of the cabinet, the look and the price overall. I will say that installing these cabinets or any cabinet is not for the faint of heart. It takes work and it is a challenge. My experience with Hector at the Hallandale store was nothing short of exceptional. He was personable, knowledgeable and helpful in every way possible. I would order these cabinets again as long as time is on my side, by that I mean at least three months out. Although the Hallandale store provided me exceptional service there were problems with in the Cabinets To Go organization that can make it challenging to get every piece you need in a timely manner. This has nothing to do with the store, unfortunately it is higher up in the organization. Although most pieces come in in a timely manner there can be situations where items are backordered for several weeks and can hold up the project. Overall though, now that my cabinets have been installed I like the product, I like the look, and I would do the same thing again if my budget does not allow for custom-made cabinets. read more
