Do not buy for this company. They have the absolute worst customer service i have ever delt with. We have a remodel going on at our house. We received the product. The box had zero damage to it and we did not open because it's a big box weight 125lbs. We stored it in our dining room until we were ready to install. 1 month later we opened box to install ans the hood is bent up. This had to have come directly from the company like this. This vent hood was $3,600. We contacted the company thinking surly they help make this right. WRONG!!!!!! THEY DIDNT CARE AT ALL AND HAVE LEFT US WITH A $3,600 DENTED UP VENT HOOD TO INSTALL. THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. ALSO ONCE AGAIN NO HELP NO COMPASSION THAT WE SPENT OUR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR A MESSED UP PRODUCT. Also let me note this. Love my new range hood. Works great. A little difficult to hang but doable. The fan on high is not too loud. Seems to handle my cooking so far. I didn't have an exhaust fan so I was always set off the smoke detectors when cooking. This new fan seems to have fixed that problem. I am so happy. It looks really nice too. When I researched vent hoods my criteria became clear as to what was most important. 1. Noise or rather lack of noise. 3.2 sones on highest speed. 2. Power in cubic feet per minute. 940 cfm's on high 3. Appearance and quality of workmanship of materials. I found all three with the Positano Island Range Hood. If you are looking for the best then you cannot go wrong with Futuro Futuro vent hoods. Don't let the price move you there are many cheaper options on the market however you will not find a more environment friendly and power performance hood on the market. read more

couple of things I think needs to be improved. I received an email first that the hood will be delivered at 2:30 later that day I received it was delivered at 10:30 and was signed by me which I didn't not receive and no signing was done so I panicked looking everywhere trying to get in touch couldn't get connected to fedx anyway luckily it was not stolen I learned from my contractor that was left there by the entrance gate. please make sure we sign and receive the product it's an expensive item. thank you read more

I purchased this beautiful range hood two and half years ago. It worked beautifully and kept the kitchen clean without odor and smoke. But I found out the mash of the filters crumbled with regular usage and being washed with dish washer once every three days (instruction: dish washer safe). I am not quite happy with the quality of the filter and additional cost for such an expensive machine. I have to order the filters to replace the original one and I wish they can have longer life span. It would be more economic and environmental friendly if I have the option to replace the mash only instead of the whole filter with metal frame. Also, I would like to know how to clean the range hood by myself since the oil dripping from the motor every time after being used. read more

Great customer service and delivery on time! Still did not install it, but the buying process could not be easier and faster.

This hood didn't fit, and a few days outside of their 30 day return policy and they refuse to let us send it back (at our cost). Given how hard these are to install, and how hard it is to ship (arrived on a pallet), this is not something I recommend ordering over the internet. You are better off going to a local appliance retailer, if possible, so you aren't out $2500 with a hood you don't need. Also, their return policy is pretty costly to start with (you pay return costs, on a pallet, and a 20% restocking fee). To not make an exception based a handful of days is bad customer service. The owner of this business thinks that 30 CALENDAR days is plenty of time to install this hood, but unfortunately for us it was delivered LATE, which caused a chain reaction of delays from our contractor. Between holidays (Thanksgiving), snow storms (we had over a foot of snow), and weekends (when contractors don't work), the timeline was actually really tight. Again, I would have to cover all the shipping costs/restocking fees (which wouldn't be insignificant), so we weren't asking for them to be out any money. We alerted them to our problem, and instead of making an exception, the owner has spent a "significant" amount of time arguing with us, instead of helping us. I could only imagine what he would be like to deal with if something went wrong with the hood! So here we sit with a completely useless $2500 range hood. I guess if anyone reading this needs a new hood let me know! read more
