My cabinets came banged up and damaged, the store manager came to my house and took pictures and said their insurance would take care of it. 1 year later nothing has happened. Beware: cabinets to go takes NO Responsibility, none at all for their service quality or damaged merchandise. Next time I'd rather spend more somewhere else. For those of you reading this, a lady named Molly responds to these posts saying that she will help you take care of the issue. To start off, dealing with Kayla Noblit has been nothing short of enjoyable and rewarding. She was able to earn our trust almost immediately with her kind demeanor, and obvious knowledge of her job. In addition, it was clear to us simply by hearing a few quick calls that she fielded while we were there that she also truly understands and values ongoing customer care before and after sale. In our situation, we were not just replacing and existing layout with new cabinets and countertops, but rather completely redesigning our entire kitchen and dining room area. This would involve removing entire sections of wall, moving load bearing beams, etc. Having worked previously in n early all facets of the trades for roughly 13 years, I gained the experience of knowing good construction from bad, who was reliable and who was not, and the ever-present challenge that the trades have dealt with since the beginning of time: sub-contractors that are unreliable. Kayla listened to us very closely and assured us that the company that they partner with for remodel, installation, etc. out of the Huntsville area would do a great job and that she has experienced a nearly 100% approval rating for their work, reliability, and over-all integrity. This company is Recentered Restorations. They are phenomenal. I can say this without the slightest stammer because we went into this hoping that Kayla's claims were true (and with her claims of such good previous ratings, the bar was a bit higher, and so was possible doubt; kind of like the old "If it seems too good to be true......) and that we could feel well taken care of that that the process and final product would be excellent. Recentered Restorations has thus far EXCEEDED our expectations. They are prompt, professional, courteous, and know their craft. It is obvious that the employees recognize that integrity, workmanship, and work ethic is paramount in earning and maintaining a customers' trust and continued business. Allen, Jason, Caleb, and Charles have been nothing short of excellent. In particular, Allen who is the Operations Manager, is a fabulous example of a person that not only understands accountability, integrity, and solid work ethics, but demonstrates it with his continued diligence by staying on top of the project, ensuring work is done RIGHT, ensuring that "Subs" actually show up, and, etc. To be very honest, not only do we believe that we were blessed with and great group of folks to our work, but my Wife and I both agree that we have also grown a possible/probable lifelong friend in Allen. In today's' world where integrity, honor, core values, workmanship, and ethics seem to have gone by the wayside more often than not, This entire group of folks from Kayla at Cabinets To Go to Recentered Restorations have done such an extraordinary job of allowing us to truly feel comfortable, confident, and able to trust in the knowledge that our job is, and will continue to be done right. Lastly, another final mention about Recentered Restorations that as described by Allen they are a faith-based company that not only cares about the customer, but also gives back in the form of portions of their proceeds are donated back to the community to aid and support local women in need of assistance where they have been abused, battered, etc. In closing- if you have trepidation about the company, the subs, the work, etc. Our experience as detailed here is 100% the truth, it has NOT been solicited. Cabinets To Go offers a high-quality product (plywood boxes, hardwood fronts, dovetail joints on drawers, nice finishes, and no particle board). Great way to buy cabinets, especially if you don't have time to wait for manufacturing. You can also save considerable money by electing to assemble them yourself (they are shipped unassembled in flat boxes), if you are handy. Local staff in Huntsville were quite helpful in designing our kitchen addition to suit our space (see photo). My only complaint is that local staff have inadequate authority to resolve problems (we had an installation charge issue relating to work that wasn't done), and higher up, corporate staff have been inflexible. Our problem has not been resolved to our satisfaction. The company HQ staff we have dealt with thus far don't seem to care about fully addressing the issue. They made up their mind about what they were willing to do (which I made clear was inadequate), have ignored simple facts of the situation, and did not back up and support the recommended solution from their local Huntsville staff. My recommendation would be to buy their cabinets (because they are good), but hire a third party yourself to install them to avoid the kind of problem we experienced. read more

I initially left a good review because there was a promotion where you could get a percentage off of your purchase for leaving a good review. I've had a poor experience and I've been trying to work it out with Cabinets to Go. I've given them a chance to make things right, and so far there hasn't been any movement. We purchased cabinets, countertops, a sink, hardware, pretty much everything but flooring from C2G in July 2022. Our installation began the first week of September 2022. It is now mid February 2023 and our install is not complete or even close to complete. We are nearly six months without a functioning kitchen - no hooked-up sink, stove, microwave, unfinished cabinets, etc. and we're paying good money for this. I've called the Huntsville store multiple times, and they asked "have you talked to the installer?" or after about each third call, would put in a work order. I would reach out to the installer weekly, sometimes daily. They would say they would come out and not show, over and over again. I would get fired for that. I found an email address for the CTG HQ and I reached out at the end of January to let them know what I was experiencing, and they said our situation has been briefed to the President of Installation and they were checking into it. It's now two and a half weeks later and still no installer and still don't have a way forward from Cabinets to Go. Called G2G Huntsville yesterday and they were actually apologetic for the first time since I've been calling. They said they're going to check into reassigning an installer or getting a refund and I should hear from them this morning, but it's noon and no one's called. They've also said that I needed to send them pictures and list of what needs to be done. I'm not a contractor - how am I supposed to know everything that's left to be done? I can tell you what I see, but that's by no means a definitive list. I also have concerns that if a new installer is assigned through C2G, how do I know that I won't just be doing this again but for another six months? I've asked multiple times for a completion date and all I get is "we can put in a work order for you." These are JUST the problems we've had with installation. We've also experienced issues with billing and with the delivery. Why is it that it took six months of not having a functioning kitchen for them to just now check into assigning a new installer or providing a refund? I personally believe that should have been explored months ago. We've given them multiple chances to take action and make it right, and there hasn't been any action. At this point, I just want a full refund for installation and to find our own installers. Edit on Feb 15 2023:I've already been in contact with the email provided in the reply from the C2G business manager. In my review where I mentioned that I found contact information for C2G HQ, it's the same email provided by the business manager that replied to this review. I've been in contact with that email for nearly 3 weeks and still no movement on installation or resolution. I still emailed said email with the information requested in the below reply, and I've sent pictures and a list of what I think needs to be done to multiple emails, as requested, although i find it to be out of my scope as a customer. It's my opinion that C2G should send someone out to assess what's not complete and should also be the one tracking that information, not the customer. We're updating our kitchen so we can sell our house, and our realtor said her install on their recent flip took one day from C2G. Our experience caused her to reconsider purchasing additional cabinets from cabinets to go for six upcoming flips. Update on Feb 17th: I spoke to the Huntsville store and they were very understanding today. I asked if we could get our sink and appliances hooked up in the next few days and found out today that it is not included as part of our install, which is disappointing. We did look back at our sales invoice and it does state install is for cabinets, butcher block, and assembly, which we overlooked, so we take responsibility for that oversight. It would be nice for that to have been stated when we bought our cabinets and really hammered home. There is a chance it was briefly mentioned and we don't remember. It was really driven home that demolition wasn't included with the purchase and installation. Communication has been very broken during this experience, but C2G did start communicating with the installer this week. I should also add that the installer installed our backsplash for free (we purchased the tile) because of the time it took to install our cabinets. 2/24/2023 - our cabinets are now finished and I've changed my review from one star to two star. Our cabinets look great with the exception of a poorly painted gash on the side of one of our cabinets that doesn't match the color or texture of our cabinets. I am doing something that I have never done before... I don't believe in posting negative reviews, but as a business owner myself, I have never witnessed or experienced such poor customer service. I purchased $30,000 worth of cabinets and countertops from Cabinets To Go, the cabinet installation was done on August 3, over two months ago. Some of the cabinets came in damaged, but hey that stuff happens right? They came out and replaced one cabinet that was damaged, and replaced a door that was designed incorrectly and it opened the wrong direction. I have a pull out trashcan, that is still not completed, I have a section of granite that was cut an inch and a half short so there is that gap between the countertop in the wall. I have one cabinet door that still does not have a pull installed. Supposedly, all of the parts are at the local store, I say supposedly because I have been told for the last month that they have them and that someone will be right out to make those repairs. I keep being promised that it will be sometime this week... Or sometime next week... Or we will be out on Friday at 3 PM, which was the case today. The store manager is well aware of the situation, either my wife or myself have spoken to her 2 to 3 times a week for the last month. I'm sure she's at the point right now, where she doesn't want to hear anything from us, and to be perfectly frank, I want nothing to do with the store. I've been on the phone this afternoon attempting to contact a regional manager and have yet to have a phone call returned. I own a real estate company, as well as a real estate investor. I deal with contractors and installers on a daily and weekly basis, I have never witnessed such incompetence and lack of caring in my entire career. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for cabinetry, the quality of workmanship let alone the price itself is no discount... $30,000 for a kitchen is not a cheap install. I invest in properties many times throughout the year, and I have had custom cabinets done for less money, I thought I would give Cabinets To Go an opportunity to earn my business... I will not make that mistake again. At this point, they have cost me a lot of money, I currently have a property that is not ready to rent and each day that goes by I am losing money. potential renters would come into this place and see the shoddy workmanship and question everything about the home... I have spent almost $200,000 on the rehab and for $300 worth of parts and 30 minutes worth of work I will potentially lose $10,000 by the time this house is 100%. read more

If you are tackling a remodel, I recommend giving Cabinets To Go a call. My wife and I took on a kitchen renovation during COVID, and worked hard to stay on a budget all while giving us the kitchen we always wanted. Well they certainly delivered! Whether it was the multiple trips and changes to the design or last minute swaps and changes as new challenges presented themselves in our kitchen, JD and Kayla at Cabinets To Go in Huntsville were fantastic! I think I was going by at least once a week for over a month and a half as we tweaked our design and were finishing the remodel. The cabinets are solid, although if you can afford it, get them to do the install (lesson learned!) to save some headache, and I used to work with general contractors and a homebuilder when I was younger! If you can't or want to save, there are YouTube videos that help and you can always call the store or visit them and they, along with their installers, will help guide you on your way. We would definitely consider using them again! As a side note, not all of the cabinets had drawer hardware installed as of these photos, but I was doing that on my own so my apologies! read more

My husband and I purchased an older home in August and decided to completely renovate the kitchen. We decided to visit this store to get a quote for a full kitchen. We were a 'walk-in', however we were immediately paired to work with store manager Kayla Noblit. Through our home renovation, we worked with many individuals, contractors, store associates, and sales people. Not one of them was as kind, personal, professional, and thorough as Ms. Noblit. She was honest, informative, and willing to look further into things we were interested in (we asked about an integrated acrylic sink with our quote for solid surface countertops). She was patient when we ran into renovation issues and had to redesign things and make changes several times. She never once made us feel like a burden or made us feel pressured to purchase. When one of our cabinets was damaged upon opening the box, the store manager DROVE to get the cabinet from the distribution center and offered to drop it off at my home on her day off so that our renovations wouldn't be delayed... Only the test of time will show the quality of the Cabinets To Go roduct. However so far we are loving them. We researched several different ready-to-assemble cabinets from different online stores and Cabinets To Go had by far the best price and easiest to assemble cabinets on the market. I've not yet received my cabinets - so this is a review of customer service.......Kayla Noblit provides outstanding design service. She skillfully addressed my kitchen cabinet needs with great attention to detail. I walked in with my room dimensions and known window and door placement, and Kayla took it from there. You MUST give her the facts to work with...for example: "this 1st wall is 160" long and I want a stove here, this 2nd wall has a window 30 " wide, my refrigerator is 72" tall x 30" wide, this is the size of my sink"...etc. You can't go in and wave your arms around and expect a design to be created without first providing factual dimensions of ceiling height, wall length, windows and doors. Once I gave Kayla these dimensions, she took off like a race horse clicking her fingers on the mouse, focused like a laser on her computer screen while muttering math and numbers to herself to get the best possible design within the fixed space. She worked so fast I couldn't even keep up with her logic. She then cross checked the order with the plan to be sure every item was accounted for. I can't wait to get my finished product and I will post another review. I will say this though: if I needed an outstanding employee with great personality, skills, smarts, honesty and loyalty, I would hire Kayla. read more
