I…read morewent in to purchase a Black Friday special that was on the showroom floor (but was given a box from the back storage area). This television was already physically damaged when opened. The box had already been repackaged and not in a new condition. I immediately informed the store about the situation, and they asked that I provide photos of the damage. The television has not even powered on to display the picture. Again, I asked I be allowed to return this defective device for a full refund. I sent photos showing the Electronics Express box and a unit I purchased from Costco. The Smaller Costco box is in Brand new condition and works perfectly. Electronics Express store has simply given me a previously returned item, so they are not responsible for the loss of sale. They also made me sign a waiver since they weren't going to install the TV at $250, to deter any liability. Never do that, open the box in the store to inspect what you're buying! I'm going through corporate channels to get my refund and return their garbage TV!

    Inlet water valve went out on 3 y.o. Electrolux washer. Tech said part was $280 but the OEM part is…read more$162.29. That is a 72% mark up on the OEM part. I was told that is the cost of the part but the tech neglected to mention the mark up (I assume the company is to blame for this). I called the company and they said someone from the parts department would call me but they never did. The tech said it would take 20 mins to go get the part but took 1 hr and 5 mins, so rolling up the charges. 20 mins to diagnose and 30 mins to replace the part. The tech was very good at explaining the repair. The repair receipt is not itemized and part was marked up, so I can only conclude this is VERY disingenuous and will not use the company again. Total repair price was $484.07. Buyer beware!!! Response: You made one call, I returned the call and left a message. No one has called me since. Again, erroneous information to appear to mitigate the issues.

We would have preferred more transparency in their billiing, as I believe the GE factory-auth part was about $40, and our total bill was $422.15 (Inv #9643954, Task #11442000). We're aware of exactly how long the tech worked at our home, and I requested (by email to contact@mrabmh.com) a breakdown on the cost of the part, plus itemization of labor, as $422.15 seemed excessive to us. No big deal, we just like to know a breakdown of our charges. Of course, our request was ignored.

    With the cold weather coming in my husband decided he needed to repair his mother's Delta faucet…read more We went to her house to check the faucet out and determine whether my mother-in-law would be able to drip water the next few days when the lows are below 15. Hubs determined the cartridge in the kitchen faucet needed to be replaced. He disassembled the faucet and off we went to Lowe's to buy a replacement. He purchased the cartridge last time at Lowe's. We get inside the store and there are no Delta cartridges in stock. Hubs becomes grumpy. He looks at Home Depot's website and their site says they have 7 in stock. Off we go to Home Depot. Once inside we find the aisle and bin. Except there are no cartridges. I find a Home Depot employee who scans the area and checks online. He says sometimes their numbers are off. We look for several minutes and do not find the cartridges. By now my husband is fuming. I knew not to tell him he should have researched inventory but that wouldn't help this situation since HD's website said they have 7 in stock. He thanks the HD employees as a second one joined to look for the 7 cartridges and we leave. I tell him we should go to Weathers Ace Hardware. We have nothing to lose at this point. Hubs checks their website and they have 2 in stock. Off we go again. I like this store. They have a little bit of most things. A nice employee, Ed, walked up and asked if we need help. Hubs showed him the cartridge and Ed took us right to the plumbing aisle and found the cartridge immediately. I was impressed how efficient Ed was. He said another customer had bought the same cartridge today. Hubs was smiling and off we were to my MIL's to put the new cartridge in. Pro Tip: it might be a good idea to check availability of parts before starting a task. :) Thank you to Weathers Ace Hardware for being conveniently located off Bailey Cove. They had outdoor faucet covers along with lots of other things for winterizing. There are friendly employees available to help. Please stop by and check out the store.

    On Wednesday July 16, 2025 a few minutes before 3:00, I decided to give this store another chance…read morehoping my last review would want them to improve, NO. There was absolutely no change in their customer service, still horrible. Again, I thought the old guy was dead but when I walked out of the store at 3:03 he was slowly shuffling to his car. I believe in giving everyone a chance, but this old guy needs to stay home. I saw four employees this time and again no one spoke a work to me. No one wanted to make eye contact or care to smile. I can say that the store is always clean and neat that maybe because they have no customers. I can also say, from my last two visits that management/owner has no clue how to hire employees or he pays poorly and zombies are all that meets the job requirement. The zombies will starve there.
