Initially, Cabinets to Go began strong. They answered my e-mail in a day and sent me everything I needed to start. Unfortunately, their beginning excellent customer service quickly slides down. They work with a delivery company that is about as timely as a grandfather clock under the sea. They don't schedule ahead of time and you have to sit around the day of hoping that their schedule is on time and they call you when they are on the way, not before or even with a window of time they will get there. Secondly, their customer care is a joke. They don't "actually" care, because if they did, they would actually try to solve a problem and not just offer empty "I'm sorry." Your apology helps me about as much as a broken flashlight in a cave. I called them after driving to the store to pick up an additional piece and was told three times...." the piece shows delivered in the system." I went there, talked to the warehouse manager, together we walked around for 30 min and couldn't find it. Then I was told the piece would be there on Monday. 4 days later. On Monday they were closed and on Tuesday, said the piece was still not at the store. So now almost a week later, I am left with an incomplete kitchen. Also, as customer service and "caring" for customers. Maybe next time try offering something for the inconvenience. I'm not looking for a handout or free stuff, but maybe cover the price of shipping or a 10% discount. Something that says, you are truly sorry besides empty platitudes. It took forever but we finally got everything. Jennifer transferred but kept in touch then left the company all together. The Austin location went through some turmoil with management turning over multiple times. When we finally received items, they were delivered in a beat up rental truck which looked shady & the other batches that were back ordered we had to make a few trips to pick up 45 mins away from us because it didn't all come in at the same time. We thought the other bad reviews were just a bunch of Karens, but they were accurate. They have great products, but the company is disorganized. They use installers that promise to come snd never do - not even a phone call. 4 times we've waited to get our kitchen snd 4 times we waited for nothing. Called the branch and got a run around. Called customer service and got a run around as well. Someone called me back and told me even though they messed up on me 4 times, I still could not cancel the 2 extra kitchen cabinets I ordered without them deducting 25% off of me. BAD customer service. So now aside from just disputing the charge, I will get the county inspector in on this and make sure this company regrets recommending the installer that came. He was extremely responsive when we had questions or concerns. He paired us up with a fantastic installer who did a perfect job of demo and installation. At first, I couldn't get my local store to give me a quote! My fiance and I went in on Sunday, March 30th to the Orlando store, ready to make a purchase. We brought with us measurements and sketches, and we like to think we are informed buyers. We knew (mostly) what we wanted, and the only gentleman at the store, Ernesto, did an excellent job helping us build the perfect punch list of what we needed to make our kitchen remodel a possibility. Towards the end of our visit the store went from just the three of us to about 10 customers which all seemed to need assistance, so we left Ernesto with copies of our documents and our contact information so he could assist the other customers. We were told we would have an estimate by the end of the day. I called on Monday, March 31st to see where the store was at and was told that they were extremely busy that Sunday and were currently working on my estimate and would have it to me at the end of the day (Ernesto was not there, but I did not catch the name of the person I spoke with). End of day, nothing. Called back Tuesday morning and was told the same thing, that they were working on it. Recieved a call from a sales person around 5:30 Tuesday afternoon who was working on my quote, but seemingly had no idea what I wanted, only had my measurements, not the itemized list of what I was wanting a quote on. I went over everything again with him over the phone and was told I'd have it by end of day. That brings us to Wednesday, April 2nd. Nothing. My fiance called them around 10:30-11, telling them they had till one to get us our quote. They said no problem. It was 1:30, my inbox was barren. No quote. I don't understand the problem. I can piece together my needs on the website from my iPad in under 10 minutes. This was my problem. I wanted to buy these cabinets from the company. I think they are an amazing value and look beautiful, and they were going to look fantastic in my house. I have money I was practically begging them to take it from me. I thought to myself, "if I am having this much trouble at this phase of the process, how can I trust that the rest of this transaction is going to go smoothly?" Smash cut to Tuesday, June 2nd. The cabinets I received looked beautiful in my home, but I say received because we were waiting on one 9" wall cabinet that was holding up our project. I understood that the ordering and shipping process could take time, and was quoted 4-6 weeks, but we were going on week 10 of this and I just wanted my kitchen back. I had to initiate every bit of contact with the store, including call them back after they said they will get back to me. I couldn't get an estimate of when I'd receive anything, and to make it better, when I went into the store the previous Saturday to see what the hold up was I was informed that they had my cabinet in the store but could not find it. I was told that the warehouse guys had gone home for the day and they would Fedex it to me at no charge first thing this Monday morning and follow up with a call and email with tracking. Finally my fiance decided to call them at 4:30pm to find that the warehouse guys were sent home today already and that they had not got to it. When I went in on Saturday I was also informed that I am just one of many having problems currently. It seems like the store is more concerned with making quick sales than delivering the goods to customers that have already placed orders. I will say that every time I've gone into the store they have been packed with both potential customers and people like me trying to get their order. June 7th I finally got my last cabinet and finished the kitchen. The product gets a SOLID 10/10 from me. The cabinets are easy to assemble, look fantastic, and the price is phenomenal. Unfortunately I would feel uncomfortable going through this process again with any future remodels do due to not being able to complete the project in a timely and cost effective manner, and I feel like everyone I have told about the cabinets I have to warn about the possible headaches that will be created during the purchasing process. Absolutely the worst cabinet shop I have ever been to in 10 years of working as a project manager for a general contracting company. If you want your cabinets completed in a timely manner do not come here. Orders will be delayed for weeks no update will ever be provided. I have email documentation of me following up with the salesman Kurtis About 20 times asking and requesting for an update. Came to pick up (1) piece of crown that I need to complete a project which was delayed for almost (3) weeks, when I came in it was the wrong crown... wrong size, color and style. This was the worst experience I have ever had. The installer measure my kitchen incorrectly and ordered the incorrect size cabinets. On the day of the install the installers arrive with the incorrect plans and began the job and realize the plans were incorrect. during the install the tech realized he would need additional parts, because of the incorrect plans and the salesman charged me for all the additional parts. I ordered additional panels for another project in my home, but because the cabinets arrived damaged the tech had to use one of my panels to correct the damage. several draws were installed with missing pieces. The tech refused alter the cooktop cabinet according to the manufacturer specs which was the plan. he said he need the actual stovetop and that he would come back once it arrived to install. I received the cooktop the next day. I call the Cabinets to go dealer and got the run around for 2 weeks. eventually I hired another contractor to install the stovetop. He was very knowledgeable about the cabinets, configurations, and his willingness to help just topped it all off! He was able to take our vision and turn it into reality! He even took the time to modify the design so that we can see exactly how everything would look! I haven't finished assembling the cabinets yet. So far, everything came as expected and looks great! I am not impressed with the product sold by cabinets to go. It is actually cheap stuff.. I have problems with the paint on the cabinets and I have NEVER seen raw wood under upper cabinets...... this is so cheaply made it really is disgusting what they charge for their products.... do not be fooled by their words because our cabinets were installed today... the first thing is the face of one of the drawers fell off when I tried to open it, then there's a manufacturer problem with the paint on another cabinet, then there's a chip out of the pantry door, then there's a toe kick problem where they cut the wood and it is now lifting in two spots. When I asked the salesperson about the raw wood on the bottom of the cabinets he said its standard but i could BUY a piece of wood to put under there.... It should have a piece of wood already there I shouldnt have to pay for it. Be careful when picking a cabinet company because these are not the best you can buy... they're made cheaply if they chip so easily and nothing is under the top cabinets... read more

I have been trying to have a measurement done on my kitchen for the past two weeks! I went in last week because I became frustrated when I could not get through to anyone. I spoke with a manager who indicated that he would have the guy bobby contact me. I was contacted by Bobbys office on Monday and set up a meeting time between 5-6 pm on Tuesday.I waited and no one ever showed up. I am frustrasted with the service thus far I have recieved as I an trying to purchase cabinets and have been unsuccessful in doing so. This is not professional at all. On March 13, 2021 a Cabinets To Go Truck hit the side of our condo building and left the scene. On Monday March 15, 2021 I contacted the local Cabinets To Go location, Tyrone Blvd St. Petersburg FL and reported the incident, I was told that they would report the incident to their area director. I called back several times but never received a response. Finally got someone at the Tyrone Blvd location that directed me to their national customer service call center, I have called and emailed with Ariel who is nice but have never received a call or email from someone with any authority to address my claim for damages to the building. We are experienced DIY remodelers having completed five major home renovations and hundreds of smaller projects from tile back splashes and flooring, wood flooring, pavers, painting of every type, framing, drywall, furniture refinishing, etc. We learned about CTG from home improvement channels on TV. We accomplished just about everything we needed to online as far as estimating and evaluating their product lines, but decided visiting the showroom was a must. We went with detailed measurements. We were treated very cordially by Rob, the store manager and that treatment held true from start to finish. The experience was very positive overall. The cabinet construction is very good even though these are an RTA product and require you to assemble if you want to save money - and the savings are substantial. The soft-close door features they include are especially appreciated. We remodeled an entire kitchen for about $7,000 with the big box stores comparing at three times that amount. read more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! We have had nothing but disappointments with this company. Our cabinets were designed incorrectly - even after their contractor came in to measure our kitchen. The parts they provided were not functioning properly. Some of the doors only come in a certain configuration (the glass doors for example), so you have to assemble it from an already existing wooden door, which leaves you with holes and marks from the existing hinges of the wooden door. Their assembling directions were not complete, so our contractor had a hard time installing it. Finally, a little less than half of our doors arrived with some type of damage - it's been over 6 weeks... and we are still waiting for a replacement. This is apart from their extremely unprofessional service both at the store and through their customer service. read more

When we got our cabinets home we put them together and we're very happy with the quality and ease of building them. We purchased the sink and countertop and were pleased with their quality also. Effectively the worst customer service there is, I work with a guy name Curtis and all I have had is trouble after trouble, 1st they charge me $200 for delivery and after 2 weeks of waiting for all my parts to come in I had to go down to the store and pick up the parts my self, (keep in mind I hired a cabinet installer twice because they said everything was at my house and it was not), 2nd some of the cabinets don't come fit it, you will have to do modifications to the cabinets, so if your not handy you will have to contract a installer with knowledge, 3rd the quality of the cabinets is very poor and they easily get scratch and some don't even stay together, by far this has been the worst investement I have ever done, $3989.60 wasted. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE NOR THE CABINET MAKER. STAY AWAY read more

We had a great experience with Cabinets to Go, Will was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, patient too, as I changed my mind about a few things more than once! He knew what we needed as far as small details and fillers so that we had everything we needed when they were delivered. We had a couple of pieces that had some damage and their Customer Service Rep in TN, I think her name was Nicki, was very helpful. She got the pieces to us very quickly and followed up to make sure they arrived, great Customer Service, which is rare anymore. I echo many of the previous reviews. First, be very careful to review the "professional design" they put together for you. We had 24" sections that the salesperson filled with 21" cabinets and a 3" spacer which look VERY odd. In addition, the design shifted cabinets to leave odd spaces that don't look quite right. instead of bringing any of this to our attention in the store, we were left to figure it out after the fact. And we could have come up with some pretty simple, probably no cost -difference solutions. The sales staff are friendly, but looking to finish your order to move on to the next as quickly as possible. Second, they do not call back. If they say they will call you, or schedule a delivery, be prepared to call them daily to ensure they do what they say they will. It will be a one-way street of communication. Guaranteed. I have emails of promised delivery on a Friday, but a Friday follow up call discovers the warehouse person is gone and no one knows what is happening. Follow up call on Monday, and promises that someone will bring it to me on their way home from work. Follow up call on Tuesday, same promise. Follow up call on Wednesday, and the delivery person is bringing it. Delivery person shows up Thursday, saying he never knew anything about delivery until that morning. You are paying for cabinets in a flat-packed box. You get no information, no customer service, no call-backs, etc. Plan on NOT getting the shipment on time when promised, and you should expect that it will be missing items with no idea when those items will arrive (a week? 6?). If schedule and customer service are important to you (and they should be!), this is probably not your first choice. And I agree with other reviews. The cabinets are nice, but the price is not lower than other options. Cabinets to Go is an option when shopping around, not a cheaper option. We are happy with our kitchen, but it was painful. read more

We use this company quite frequently for kitchen and bath projects. John has been very responsive and works hard to quickly turn around estimates, make sure our order is correct, and that everything comes with it. If we were rating just customer service, this would be five stars. The reason for four stars is that occasionally there is a delay from their distributor that has held up a project or two. Never in my wildest dreams could we have imagined a more horrible customer service experience. The cabinets all have an uneven finish and look terrible, and getting them was such an ordeal we are looking at probably having to either rip them all out and start from scratch buying cabinets somewhere else or do a refinishing process on them. The manager of this store never returns calls and the poor people at the main brand customer service cannot even get a straight answer from them, it took months of back and forth to get missing parts, damaged pieces replaced, etc. only to end up with a finished product that looks ridiculous. I could not be happier with my decision to use this company. The store manager Sean made my experience very enjoyable. He sat down with us in our initial visit and helped us design the entire layout. We received a computer generated photo of the design with all the dimensions to help our contractor. The cabinets arrived when they said they would and were exactly what we expected. Through out the entire process Sean always answered the phone or called us back the same day. He made the whole thing very worry free. I'll admit that I was very skeptical at first after reading a lot of bad reviews but Sean assured us that was old management, and they were doing everything they could do to change the culture.
