Wing came to my house to take measurements and created a floor plan that best suited the size and layout of my kitchen. Wing was amazing throughout, always answering the phone and clearly explaining anything I had questions about. They work incredibly fast! Once my kitchen was prepped: new paint and drywall, I called Wing to let her know I was ready to begin. She immediately scheduled her workers, had all the materials in stock, and the entire job was completed in just two quick days, unheard of! The layout continually had to be adjusted due to poor measurement application. Even after the plan was complete, several cabinets were incorrectly made and significant workarounds implemented. We like the look of our wood plank tile, but it will never been sound. Several loose tiles have been replaced and more is needed. I don't think it will ever be 100%. Getting tiles replaced is like pulling teeth, uncomfortable and painful.

The lady gave us a quote for specific for five dollars and then when the gentleman helped us he gave us a go for three dollars per knob. The price is good didn't complain since we were on decisive. The gentleman who was helping us was getting frustrated but customers could've got frustrated because he didn't have the knobs that we were looking for as the sales person. The first time i sat down with Carmen she gave me a usable kitchen design for a cook. Their selection was adequate. i do not have time to look through 10 catalogs. I picked my items made some adjustments and was done. I do want to highlight that their quartz pricing and installation is super competitive. Now for the work. Even the other contractors onsite (GC, plumber, fine finish carpenter, flooring) were impressed with the quality and attention to detail. The cabinets were up in 2 days and the counter tops in 1 day. They are one of the few stars in my remodel. The pics do not do the work justice. I took them towards dusk.

From the beginning Manuel was challenging to get ahold of (no responses on emails mostly). Work started a week later than we had agreed on and Initially the project was supposed to take 3 days - demo, install, finishing- and it was suggested that it could be done in one week. The project started September 25 2024 and was finally finished November 15, almost 2 months. During demo we had to ask them to stop because they did not tape off the space and spread huge amounts of dust throughout our house that we ended up needing to do lead and aesbestos testing to move forward (not to mention, I had to take a day off of work to clean up the mess created). We had to call and text and basically beg them to send people out to finish the work and we could tell we were a very low priority- mostly working Saturdays, canceling multiple times after committing to dates, unwilling to commit to days until a day or two in advance, etc. He pretended he would work around our schedule but if that was the case, this work would have NEVER been completed. I canceled plans 3 times during this process to make myself available to get this work done. After demo, I think they realized this job was more complicated than originally anticipated but instead of telling us that, Manuel just kept us guessing, unsure if the timeline had changed- he did not want to communicate specifics with us which we would have really appreciated and welcomed. We learned quickly that they were not particularly respectful of our space so we began taping up our own plastic space dividers to keep dust and fumes out of the rest of our living space. The workers were very nice and I believe the issue is with management rather than the workers themselves. In the end, the work is nice enough which is why I give 2 stars instead of 1. The finished work was absolutely not worth the headache and displacement we experienced to get it done. It was a truly painful experience. I have other cabinetry projects I would like to do but will absolutely not be hiring MJ Custom cabinetry again to do the work.
