I have purchased several cars from this dealership, and it has been entirely because of one person--Fred Rizi, the finance manager. He has always gone above and beyond to help me secure a great deal and ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience. As long as he's there, I'll likely continue buying cars from them. However, the service department is a different story. It desperately needs proper training, as every visit seems to bring a new issue. My 2021 Corvette needed a simple software update for the radio. Four hours later, they had messed it up so badly that they had to order a replacement. My wife's Chevy Tahoe was in for an oil change, and while we were waiting, they mistakenly gave our vehicle to another customer who was picking up a Tahoe for transfer to another dealership. It took two extra hours to get our car back. Most recently, I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and a recall fix on my 2024 Corvette C8. They assured me they had the necessary parts and that the repair would take only two hours. Five hours later, I returned to find my car still on the lift, and they admitted they had the wrong part. I left without the recall being completed. These incidents are not isolated--I've had similar issues in the past. Had a car ready to buy internet price was xx,xxx next thing you know they raised the price 2k and asked for proof that it was lower. i did and have it as a screen shot im not stupid. They eventually admitted to it but were going to work with management to get it lowered. then they stick me with 500 dealer fee. i have never paid over 250 and a 900 3M seat protection. I said nope. I scheduled a test drive for a vehicle in the morning, took off work early to go drive it and received a call that the vehicle sold yesterday. Apparently they use a 3rd party company to schedule test drives that has no idea if the vehicle is in inventory or not. I am glad they called me but frustrated that I took time off of work to go test drive a vehicle that was not there, essentially costing me money. For starters, I was looking for a Black 2012 - 2015 Chevrolet Sonic RS 6-Speed Manual Turbo with under 100K Miles for around $6,000... and what they had to offer was a Dark Gray 2013 Chevrolet Sonic LT 6-Speed Manual Turbo with under 100K Miles for around $6,000... so close right? Everyone from the sales staff, to the customer service rep, to the finance officer were so kind, responsible and willing to work with me. They were all very patient and understanding as they bent over backwards to meet all of my requests during this Covid-19 Crisis. They were not pushy at all and they all communicated well via phone calls, texts, emails, pictures and videos despite the fact that they're based in Kansas City, MO and I'm in Dallas, TX. I was on the verge of making the 7- hour road trip up there to purchase the car they had to offer and had even placed a $500 deposit down to make it happen. But the weekend before my planned trip is when I found the car I ended up with being sold by an individual seller. I hit a curb and bent my rim and it created a leak in my tire. I firstly took my car to discount tire and they quoted me 180 and they said that they couldn't get the part in until Friday this following week and even if they did call it in and they weren't going to have one that would match my hubcap pattern so I would have to get all new hubcaps. So I just had them throw in my spare and I took mine to Cable Dahmer. I called and requested a quote and they said it would be 180. But they have a rim in stock, and they could get me in as soon as I could get it there. they did very well on my car at chevrolet. I waited for like 1.5 hrs got it on there aired up all my tires cleared the light on my dash put all my spare stuff away in the trunk underneath where it supposed to go and Entered up being $30 cheaper than he planned they ended up washing my car. If I could leave a 0 rating I would. Bought a car from here in October of 2023. Driving home and everyone after, it had a driver assist error. When I took it in for the oil change to because I paid for the warranty and all the extras, I was told the sensor had impact damage and isn't covered. I haven't been in an accident or hit anything and now I can't get anyone to answer my questions or assist because our sales person no longer works there. This has been a cluster with horrible communication and service. No accountability. Do not buy from this location or Cablue Dahmer in general. Sad to say that this dealership is dishonest and unprofessional. Their sales staff made a "VIP appointment" for me last Tuesday for today at 2pm to check out a car. To be fair, he warned me that these sell pretty quickly, which is understandable in this market. I called in at 11:15am today to see that the car was still there, and they stated it was and confirmed my appointment. After driving an hour to get there, the sales staff informed me that they had sold the car before 10am that day - well before I called to confirm it was on the lot! I don't understand why they think it's ok to lie through their teeth over the phone to me about something they already sold and waste my time. Shame on them. You will feel so dirty after you leave (and I suggest never stepping foot in there) that you will have to go home and shower. From the beginning there's been extremely disrespectful and poor service. When anyone answers the phone they have a rude tone, they don't try and solve problems and they have an attitude like you don't matter even though you're the customer. They promise loaner vehicles, since people have to work and have a way to get to work while their vehicle is being serviced, and then show up to your house, late, and without a loaner wanting to take your vehicle. Tried calling, got sent to voicemail! You can't even get ahold of anyone past the piss poor attitude girls that sit at the desk and have zero authority. Just awful experience. It was continually in the repair shop. We went back when the first car broke down completely and needed a reliable vehicle. Foolish for us to go back a 2nd time. Cable Dahmer does not have pricing listed on their cars. The sales person gives you an approximate cost in the beginning. We were promised additional trade in rebates that never were applied to the net price and they refuse to correct the situation. Also, be aware that they will automatically charge you $890 for a 3M stain guard even if you don't approve it. Purchased a vehicle on line as is, which I understand as is. Got it transported to me in another state and it was leaking oil. Brought it to garage to get checked and was told it was overfilled and not to drive it because it could really cause damage to engine. Called import car service center and he suggested that it gets towed in to be checked because overfilled oil could cause damage. He was the second person to tell me that, so I had it towed in. Cable Dahmer did the oil change in their center, so I feel that they should be responsible for repairs. Thankfully it did not damage other engine parts, it was the mechanic did not put the plug in correctly and used a bad washer. Sent emails to salesman explaining what was happening, no response. I talked to the service manager and explained everything and he said to send the invoices and he would take care of them. After several weeks of not hearing from them I started calling and was getting no response to messages. The only ones that I would talk to were the receptionist. Cable Dahmer has a problem. They don't train their phone people to NOT schedule an appointment when they don't have the part. TWICE now I have scheduled with this company and when I arrived, they DON'T have the part. What is the malfunction??? Do they even appreciate how hard it is to plan to have someone follow you to drop off your car? What about time away from work? Do they even care about the inconvenience they cause? I opted for the service included package that covers all general maintenance costs which keeps me coming here for service. Consistently good service wait times could be better but you can only do so much. When you buy a new car the dealer will sell / give away some of your information to third parties. I was very specific with my question " Do you have a 2015 or 16 3/4 ton 4 door with a sun roof and a tow package. He ask me to come in. then proceeds to ask all about me. I declined stating I ask a reasonable question and would like an answer. He went away for 10 min then came back and ask me more questions about how much I want to spend. To this I sad apparently I am not your type of customer. If you sell trucks and cant answer a specific question with out an inquisition, its a problem. I think it is completely ludicrous that I have had my vehicle for THREE MONTHS and my rotors on my vehicle already need to be replaced. Rotors should NOT need to be replaced that quickly. Not only that, I mentioned that the breaks felt funny when I purchased the vehicle and your staff "assured" me that they were brand new and that they were just "wet." I had a terrible experience with this store. While my salesman was solid and did his job to the best of his ability, anyone else I dealt with (manager, finance, etc) did not seem like they had any intentions of wanting to help me. They put me in a car that broke down a month after I bought it. When it broke down, they told me they couldn't fix it and that I would have to get something different. But since this was considered my trade in, it had no value so it increased my payments drastically. They basically forced me to get a different car which almost doubled the price of my payments. The only thing they did to help me was allow me to drive a rental while I found a new car. If you do get a car from them , DO NOT GO TO SARA IN FINANCE! Ask for Marie. Marie helped me with the first car and she was nice and helpful. Sara was yelling through the glass and having a conversation with one of her coworkers while helping me with paperwork. She then asked Siri to call her son , put it on speaker, and had a complete side conversation about a school project while doing my paperwork. And the icing on the cake, was this entire situation forced me to pay sales tax on 2 cars. And both times , they gave me the wrong number of how much I was suppose to pay. Management also tried to blame part of the reason the car broke down on me by saying I put 20,000 miles on the car. Which is IMPOSSIBLE because I had the car for a month. Horrible experience. Went in for a car. Found one, I was told I was approved. Drove a nearly brand new car off the lot. 3 days later I received a call from the sketchy salesman telling me I have to return the car because I was not actually approved. So this guy, Mike Hooper(Mr 25 years at the dealership and talks about random personal issues)lied straight to my face. Now I'm needing to return the car and have no way of getting back home because my husband and mother in law took the day off that day to go with me to get a car AND IM PREGNANT. Instead of lying, I would have appreciated the truth. Is it really that difficult to tell someone that they weren't approved or what? Or would it have been hard to tell me to wait a few days for an actual answer regarding being approved or not?? It would have caused me less pain and trouble. BE HONEST!!! I recently bought a new truck from them and they put my car plates on my new truck. I got pulled over and got a ticket because the plates weren't registered to my truck. Then I tried to call and make my payment with the finance company and they didn't even have my loan set up yet cause they didn't get the paperwork from the dealer and my payment was due in less than 2 weeks. If I could give 0 stars I would. Long story short my husband and I were trading in our 2010 Nissan Murano for a Duramax truck. We were under the impression the transaction was finished (Brain told us he would have us out in 20min after we were already there for 3 hours), of course they already made sure to take our $2,000 deposit ASAP and we had everything moved from my car to the new truck we were supposed to be getting, and bought insurance for the truck. Brian the salesman who was helping us then took the truck with all our stuff, including my purse, to fill up the tank and get a car wash for us (this sounds like the transaction is over right? Apparently not.) While we are waiting for him to come back, apparently something happened and now all of the sudden the transaction couldn't be completed. They had already moved our plates to the new truck so we couldn't even leave in our Murano to get lunch while they "figured out the paperwork". They had us switch everything back to our car as soon as Brian returned and that was that. Our extremely horrible experience. Don't use their Service Dept. I took my car in for a tire rotation and after almost an hour I went back to see what was taking so long. I got Mr Ruiz to find my car which was up on the rack. When the mechanic finally brought my car around he acted nervous when I approached him. I soon discovered that approximately $8 was missing from inside the console, radio was turned on and 3 miles had been added to my mileage since entering their garage. Went to look at buying a car. Salesman seemed nice at first. Then went in to talk numbers. He left to go answer a page at least 3-4 times. Turns out he was doing multiple sales at once. Before the sale was even official through financing the car I drove in on that I was thinking about trading in was already thrown in the back 40 and they misplaced my keys that had my house and work desk keys on it. Every time I take my car in for service, I have to take it back a second time to get it right, or at a minimum more follow up calls to either the service rep or service manager. They are not pro-active or thorough in their service department and always do the minimum. I keep waiting for the kind of customer service that blows me a way, you know, that "WOW" moment...but it never comes. Why can't I ever have a good experience here? I ordered a part with cable dahmer parts department because I was promised a fast arrival time. I was never asked for my name or phone number. I pre-paid $20 for the part with my credit card and was told it would arrive around noon the following day. The following day at 1:00 pm I attempted calling to verify if the part had arrived. The phone rang and rang with no answe. I drove to the dealership to verify in person if the part had arrived. Since none of my information had been taken initially it took a while to find my order because the person I originally spoke to was off. I was then told the part had not arrived and was scheduled to be delivered around 2:00 pm. Since the time I left the dealership In total I had called the parts department 5 times with some instances no answer and in addition have spoken to about 7 different people just trying to locate the order info. And then finally at 4:45 pm I spoke with the parts department who has finally received the part. I opted using the dealership hoping to get the needed part in the fastest time to finish my repair. Instead I've wasted an entire day that I could have finished my repair job. And....... to also bite me is the fact that I could've gotten the part elsewhere for $7 and would've waited the same amount of time. big lack of communication within the parts department at cable dahmer Over promised and under delivered!!! I know I'm supposed to be more forgiving, but I have a tough time forgetting how they played bait-and-switch with my elder daughter when she was in high school. They showed her this blue two-door Cavalier, and she was in love. She was taking Metal Shop then, and her project was a tool box. After we got the car, she custom-mixed her paints to match the car exactly. One week later, we got a call from a salesman saying we shouldn't have been sold that car---we had to bring it back. Instead, we ended up with a grey Malibu with higher payments. It wasn't loved, nor missed when it later got repossessed on my birthday.
