Absolutely love this property! We booked a last minute reservation for one night and fell in love with the tranquility and coastal charm of the grounds. Our cottage was so cute and perfect for two. Pam checked us in and went out of her way to tell us about the town, highlight various amenities throughout the property, recommend walking routes and help us settle into our cottage. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was delivered to our door at 8am and even included some gluten-free goodies (we shared the allergy at check-in). We will be back! read more

We had an incredible time at Cabot Cove Cottages. Our one bedroom cottage was just what we needed while visiting Kennebunkport for a couple days. Close enough to get downtown easily and the option to walk around the beautiful coastline. Every morning you are given a simple and delicious breakfast that includes a pastry item, fruit, and juice. We used their stand up paddle board and kayak one morning on the inlet too. The staff was very friendly and helpful for all attraction and dining questions. Don't forget to check out. My husband and I spent two nights here. We were in the Endless Summer cottage. Very nicely furnished and very clean. We live a king size bed but it took up so much space in the room that it was difficult to walk around. The shower was ok - a bit small. Loved having a coffee pot with good coffee and the breakfast delivery was awesome! The grounds are pretty and there are boats you can use - it was too cold to use them while we were there. We walked into town which a nice plus. Lots of great restaurants to choose from. Karen was sweet and professional. She gave us all the info we needed and recommended some places to eat. When we go to Kennebunkport, we enjoy staying at the Cottages at Cabot Cove, which are walking distance from the wonderful boutiques, galleries, and restaurants in town. This complex is situated on the Kennebunkport River and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. We have stayed in three of the sixteen units. All three had similar designs - a living / kitchen area, bedroom, tiled bath, a seating area outside the cottage, and came with a daily gourmet breakfast. Anchor Down #14, was our favorite. It was recently renovated and great attention to detail was evident in the stylish nautical décor, optimizing the utilization of its space. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, wifi and smart tv. The furniture, including a new sofa, and comfortable bed / linens enhanced our stay. read more

The concept is great but the cottages are dated and smell moldy. The bed was damp and no matter what we did with a fan or exhaust, it just didn't help. When we got home our clothes and suitcases smelled musty and moldy. read more

Upon my visit to Cabot Cove Cottages today I was less than impressed. The office staff was rude and unprofessional. The cottages are tightly packed and the views are marginal, at best. Next time "a local" comes in, pay attention to how they are treated as frequently we are asked to recommend places in the area. The general ambiance to the Cottages is very nice and in fairness we were unable to utilize the amenities as we found out I had Covid the day we arrived. The result was for my wife and I to shelter in the cottage during our stay. The staff was pleasant and we kept the cleaning people out of the cottage we were in. My first complaint is that I have not received a call or contact from the manager of the facility as i had asked for a senior discount that is displayed on the Cabot Cove website for seniors 62 and older. I was told via email that the senior discount is for 65 and older and when I responded with what the website indicates, I did not hear back nor was I able to discuss with the manager while there. I asked the ladies at the deck to relay the message. I was also disappointed with the location of the Cottage we were assigned to. Our front door, in unit number 7, faced a partially fenced maintenance area on the property. There are a couple of cottages with this issue as well as several that face the parking lot. If i were to repeat a stay here in the future, I would be specific to the location of a cottage with a great view. There are several. read more

Perfect location for a romantic getaway! My husband and I could not have asked for a better location on our honeymoon. We drove up on white, shells that lined the drive and walkways. Each cottage was beautifully landscaped, and truly felt secluded. There was a whoopie pie in the room that was delectable. The cottages are located on an inlet that had no water during low tide. My husband and I simply sat and watched the tide rise. It was such an awesome experience. The chairs are located right off the shore so we brought a bottle of wine to sit back and enjoy. Breakfast in the morning was delivered to our door with two muffins, fresh OJ, and a yogurt parfait. My husband and I felt unbelievably spoiled at the end of our trip. We stayed for 5 nights and ladies at front office were very nice and the cottage was decorated adorably! Had a wonderful time majority of the stay --However, through out the duration of our stay we notice bites on our legs only to discover fleas in our cabin!!Did not discover until the very last night there around 12M when we were packing up so we ended up leaving early. We were disappointed with dealing with fleas in our cabin, rug, on the sofa and even in the bed when it was such a cute property and a great location! If staying here, just make sure that your cabin has been sprayed for bugs! read more

I mean, I can't imagine a more quaint or picturesque little gaggle of cottages anywhere. The Cottages have been our favorite place to stay while in Kennebunkport for quite some time now. We stayed here for our wedding and pretty much every other time while visiting Maine as a couple. It is perfectly located off the beaten path but only a 7 minute walk to the center of Kennebunkport and all the shops. The place has 15 cottages in a horseshoe formation. Each one is pretty much private with enough greenery to shield you from your neighbor. We fell in love with the Anchorage in the middle of all the cottages that has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a large kitchen and living rooms. This is much larger than the other 14 cottages. We do love all the other cottages as we have stayed in about 5 of them. They are all quaint and comfy with smaller kitchens and smaller bathrooms. For our wedding, we rented out all of them with our friends so it was so much fun to share this experience with them. We are back again this weekend with a few of our friends in 4 cottages. They deliver breakfast in a little tote bag every morning to your door. There are coffee makers in the rooms as well. The kitchens are pretty well stocked as far as silverware and glasses as well as dishes. Perfect for a little picnic while staying here. They even have free wifi, which works great as I sit here and type this review. Looking forward to many more stays. read more

Uber hip furnishings and an ideal location for a romantic getaway. As a photographer I just wanted to document everything, it was truly inspiring. You'll want to stay here after your wedding or rent the whole place out for a girls weekend, or SOMETHING. Trust me- your mind will be spinning with the possibilities. We stayed in the Harbor and couldn't ask for anything more. Swoon worthy. It's not often that you stumble across a property like this- high end yet unassuming with plenty of character. Why do you think so many people say, "I can't wait till my next visit"? It's for a reason. And count me in with that lot for we too are already planning our return. When planning a vacation in coastal Maine, we were struck by the beauty of these cottages. And when we learned that there was a resort group that managed all the cottages and grounds, we were sold! Each cottage has its own merits but we couldn't resist either the size or the location of the Harbor Cottage (#10). It is the most expensive one but we don't regret our decision. Beautifully situated at the end of a sea shell lane, it is the largest cottage at 400 square feet and has a sweeping view of the cove. The cottage includes a living room, separate bedroom, bathroom and small kitchen complete with refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, dishwasher and cabinets well stocked with plates, glasses, utensils and even a blender. Each cottage is professionally decorated in a different style and ours was done in a pretty nautical, beachy motif. An air conditioner in the bedroom and ceiling fans in both rooms kept the cottage cool and comfortable. Two televisions and plush living room furniture provided the comforts of home. Patio furniture and outdoor lounge chairs facing the water provided a stunning place to have an afternoon cocktail while making plans for dinner. The grounds themselves are perfectly manicured and professionally tended. Neatly mowed grass, trimmed hedges and flower beds are delightful to look at and the office provides beach towels and bicycles. Each cottage has a coffee maker but, in addition, every morning around 8:00 am, a little tote bag is left on cottage doorknobs containing breakfast for two. There was always juice, fruit, yogurt and some kind of pastry. On our first morning we were treated to hard boiled eggs and bacon scones. Other breakfasts we received included chocolate chip muffins, ham & cheese croissants and, our personal favorite, a warm French baguette and a hunk of brie cheese. Yum! Our cottage had a comfortable little dining table and two chairs where we could sit and enjoy our breakfasts before heading out to sight see. The highlight of the little cottage enclave is definitely the little cove that feeds into the Kennebunk River. The cottage fee includes complimentary use of kayaks and rowboats and the office provides life jackets and a tidal schedule. For us, though, the Harbor Cottage provided our favorite highlight in the form of a giant wall of French windows and doors that overlooked the water. Our view was spectacular and there was an interesting little hidden table and chair area just a few steps from our door. It made for a delightful spot to sit and sip a refreshing frozen daiquiri. In addition to the private patio furniture outside every cottage, there are also chaise lounges overlooking the water for everyone to enjoy. Housekeeping is provided for each cottage and we were delighted to return to our cottage and find that even the dishes had been done. The office is managed between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm by a delightful woman who was happy to help in any way she could. The only issue we ran into is that the curtains on our huge wall of French windows were really only small panels that remained on the side and left the room, and us, on full display. We addressed it with the manager the following morning and she said she knew and had made the cottage owners aware but they were not inclined to change the situation. But we were adamant that we were not paying an exorbitant rate for a cottage with no privacy. She assured us that something would be done that day. And when we returned to our cottage in the late afternoon, we found that she and her staff had replaced the curtains in our cottage with larger panels that would allow for full privacy. We appreciated that she not only acted swiftly but overruled the wishes of the cottage owner in favor of the guest's wishes. And that, after all, is the benefit of a resort company managing the facility. We were very pleased. And so we spent a few delightful days in this magical spot. When we and several other cottage occupants were checking out that last Sunday morning, we overheard one couple say they were "sadly" checking out of their cottage. And that's just how we felt. We paid, were handed a complimentary goodie bag for the long drive home and were not the least bit excited to get there. Each cottage has its own charming design, equip with your own patio and access to bikes and kayaks. The little cottages were so clean and I loved how they were all so different! My cousin and her husband stayed in one during the same time. The breakfast delivered and left on your door was such an awesome touch. absolutely LOVED cabot cove! one night was NOT enough and we want to make this place a summer tradition :) adorable, cozy, stylish, quiet, relaxing, reasonably priced, fun, quaint...and the list goes on. we stayed in the "sunrise" cottage and it surpassed our expectations. we took advantage of the free kayaking as well as the free bicycle rentals. we rode our bikes to the beach and it was a quick and beautiful ride. we were welcomed to our cute cottage with a "mainely pastries" whoopie pie and classical music that set the tone of our entire visit. the cabinets were stocked with clean utensils, dinnerware and cooking tools. free wifi, ihome, flatscreen tvs with dvd players, coffee machine, and great linens/towels/toiletries. the bed was VERY comfortable!! we were so impressed and had a wonderful time. in the morning, the breakfast delivered to our cottage was delicious - OJ, fruit, eggs, and pastries. basically breakfast in bed...awesome. i strongly recommend staying here if you are in the area because you will have a fabulous time and truly relax. read more

Stay here!! What a special place. My fiance and I just got back, and we are already planning our next stay. It is so quaint, clean, and charming. We could not be more in love! If you want to be near downtown Kennebunk this is the place to stay. Two minute drive and a 6 minute bike ride to the shops and restaurants! This place could not be more perfect. We spent 2 nights at Cabot Cove for our minimoon and loved every second! Float In was the perfect cottage - nice view, cute decorations, a nice patio and very clean. The staff are super friendly and the breakfasts are a great touch. They even had beach chairs, towels and parking passes for the beach. We borrowed the bikes for a ride around Ocean Ave and took the kayaks out to paddle around the marinas. Hopefully we'll be back next year! read more

Outstanding!! We enjoyed a weekend stay at the cottages, the ladies there were so friendly and knowledgable. They gave us tips for while in kennebunkport, as well as tips for the other places we were headed to in Maine. The cottage we stayed in (the anchorage) was a studio, but perfect for the two of us. In room coffee maker, delicious breakfast left by your door eAch morning, and a goodie bag at the end of the stay. Room was clean, bed was comfortable..all around a home run! I'm hoping we can return soon and utilize the bikes and boats/kayaks they offer (it rained while we there this visit) overall a terrific experience and we look forward to returning! read more

I cannot say enough nice things about this place! We spent an amazing and beautiful fall weekend here in October, and enjoyed every minute. The cottages are private, efficient, well-taken care of, and beautifully decorated. The staff on-site is incredibly attentive, and make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The bikes, kayaks and row boats on-site are such a nice treat in the early mornings, and we made use of the corn hole set on property with a few glasses of wine int he afternoon. The staff delivers breakfast to your cottage each morning, which was both delicious, and such a treat! We loved it! They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and special as possible. A whoopie pie greets you upon arrival, and refreshments are served in the main building after 2pm. Plus upon check-out we got the sweetest "bag for the road" with waters, granola bars and chips for the drive back. The perfect place for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be back. read more

Our hopes were up arriving to what seemed like a wonderful place. But as of Aug 2016, this place has maintenance issues. Our screen door was broken with the screws coming out and was not usable. Shame since we wanted the outside air. The bathroom door was also broken and wouldn't align to close so somebody screwed in a screen-door latch to hold it closed. I went to the front desk to speak with them and the woman, very nice, was chit chatting with a person she knows about all sorts of personal items but unrelated to the cottages or the area. After about 10 minutes I left. Nice place but needs some work. Front desk should focus on service. read more

An amazing place. My girlfriend never wanted to leave. Very cozy, beautiful, quiet, hip. Probably not a great family place, but I don't have a family so it's perfect. The TV is TINY, which is a plus because you shouldn't stay here to watch TV. They have board games, etc. to borrow in the reception, and they have boats/kayaks to take out at high tide. It's a bit pricey, but why come to Kennenbunkport if you don't want to spend a little and live it up? Head on up the coast to Portland to save a few bucks if that's what you're looking to do. read more

Cabot Cove Cottages are in a gorgeous and quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle of Kennebunkport! Each cottage is cozy, very clean and prettily decorated. They also afford some privacy and a nice area to sit outdoors. The landscaping is fabulous! Beds are comfy although the bathrooms are quite small. I was traveling with girlfriends and we loved it but I don't think my husband would be comfortable. The breakfast is okay but that was not high on our list of priorities as the setting is so beauitful. It was very nice to have delivered to the door each morning. We married in Ogunquit and spent the weekend at the cottages in Kennebunkport. How charming! Beautifully decorated unit, landscaping is lush. Cozy, quiet, comfy, clean. The staff is very accommodating. Breakfast is a hoot, lunch box filled with goodies and hung on a hook outside of the cottage. French doors led to outside patio with Adirondack chairs. After a long search of where to stay in Kennebunkport for our 1 year anniversary, my wife and I decided on the cottages. On arrival the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, providing us with information on the area and answering all of our questions. Our cottage was impeccably clean, cozy, and decorated beautifully. I loved having our own private space for the time we were away. The daily breakfast delivered to our door was always different and fresh. The location is good but not ideal-it is a good 15 to 20 minute walk to town. More importantly, we were told by the staff, after sun-down it is dangerous to walk or ride the bicycles provided on the streets since there are no street lights. We ended up driving to town after dark each night which became frustrating. Our cottage was cleaned, daily, during the time(s) we were out. Anything we needed we received immediately. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the cottages to anyone looking for a little home away from home! read more

Stayed here for 3 nights in September for my 30th birthday. My husband and I stayed in Infatuation and my in laws in Sleepy Hollow. I loved every minute of this trip and it was exactly what I had anticipated after a friend's recommendation. Each cottage has been designed and decorated by a different local interior designer so they all have their own unique qualities. Out of our two, Sleepy Hollow was more expensive slightly, but smaller and not as well equipped as Infatuation. My in laws had nowhere to unpack. We were very happy in ours - I should note that the beds are quite small and we didn't sleep amazingly, but the location and experience outweighed that for me. We took advantage of the free bikes and kayaks, board games and outdoor seating. The staff are wonderful and very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend enough. I loved every minute and would go back. 15-20 minute walk into town. They also gave us free birthday drinks at their sister property The Lodge on The Cove which has a pool you can use - we never actually made it there because we had a long list of other things we wanted to do! They deliver your breakfast and hang it outside your door every morning with a few activity ideas and the daily weather and tide times - a very lovely touch which we looked forward to each morning! read more
