The receptionists are friendly, and the lobby is small. Receptionists were always prompt about giving me at least 48 hours notice of my appointment time which I really appreciated. Dr. Vorperian is kind, but he's not warm - he's very direct which I could understand why patients might find him off-putting. However, I never felt he was unprofessional, mean, or anything else besides helpful. He provided me with relief and set up a temporary crown for an eventual permanent crown. The entire process took about two months, but that was only because my insurance needed to approve it, not the office. Overall, I had a positive experience. No other female dentists at Burbank. I said fine I checked around and found thie Reseda location, so in Oct 2023 I went there and had the crowns done on 19 & 20. No problem - until they started sending me bills for $730 !!! Long story short(er ) seems Burbank had gone ahead and billed Delta Dental for the 19 & 20 crowns they never did (and got paid) so when Reseda billed they were denied as it exceeded my 'plan benefit' I went back and forth with the office/billing staff at both locations for 2 months being told its a corporate issue, they would straighten it out, don't worry, then finally telling me it was straightened out. So now in March 2026 I get a a letter from a debt collector stating I owe them $730!!! Note: The actual work done at the Reseda location was fine. The whole issue started with Burbank office staff, but was made worse when Reseda location AFTER knowing full well the whole story (and claiming it was all worked out!) then turns the matter over to a collection agency 2 years later!!!

But seeing how far he has come during our visit last week was such an amazing moment for us. As soon as we got there, the staff remembered that Marcus loves watching Mira and immediately offered to put it on for him. I was honestly so touched and surprised that they remembered! They talked to him calmly, worked at his pace, and adjusted to what he needed. Before we even realized it, they had finished his X-rays and cleaning -- without having to strap him down or hold him down. We only had to hold his hands to keep him from reaching toward his mouth. For our family, that was HUGE progress. Then Dr. Su came in, and as always, she was so gentle and patient with Marcus. She has such a calm, soothing way of talking to kids that really makes a difference. It means so much as a parent when you find a dental office that doesn't just get the job done, but actually knows your child, remembers the little things, and adjusts to their needs.
