What makes Mango Rita's so special is the incredible lineup of tribute bands they bring in every week. If you grew up on the music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s like we did, this place is a dream. We've seen amazing tributes to bands like KISS, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe and more--and the quality of the bands is outstanding. In fact, the shows are so good that we sometimes plan our trips to Fort Myers around which bands are playing! Beyond the music, the atmosphere is fantastic and the crowd always seems to be having a great time. It's one of those places where everyone is there to enjoy the music and have fun. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, J.J. and her husband, and hearing their story. They previously owned one of the largest nightclubs on the East Coast in Maryland before bringing their passion for live music to Fort Myers Beach. After Hurricane Ian destroyed their original location, they rebuilt their vision further inland--and we're so glad they did. They're a wonderful couple and you can tell how much heart they put into this place. If you love live music, especially classic rock and iconic bands, Mango Rita's Rhythm Room is an absolute must-visit. We look forward to every show and can't wait for many more nights of great music there!

The utensils are plastic that are dispensed. The coffee cups are made of Styrofoam, surprising since this is promoted as a"farm to table" restaurant. You can dispense your own coffee and pick up non refrigerated packaged creamers. No fresh milk or creamer offered. Again surprising. My wife asked a food preparer if she could have some fresh milk for her coffee. It was provided in a plastic container. I ordered an egg, cheese, and bacon on a biscuit. I didn't see any other type of bread offered. My wife ordered the waffle making a point for it to be prepared plain. Our pagers went off and we went to pick up our food. The waffles my wife ordered plain had some kind of cream on it. The server said she didn't see any note about it being prepared plain. She took it back to remake it and brought it out to our table. The coffee was very weak and not very good. My wife threw hers out. Her waffle was tasteless. She took a couple of bites and threw it out as well. My biscuit sandwich was also very disappointing. The biscuit was dry and hard, the texture of the bacon was like shoe leather. We could not understand why this restaurant was as busy as it was. The property is absolutely beautiful. The farm scenery, the animals, the open space, the donkeys coming over like they're part of the welcoming committee the whole place has such an awesome farm atmosphere. You immediately feel like you escaped Florida traffic and landed somewhere completely different. Then you walk into the barn restaurant and wow. They did an incredible job with the place. Rustic, beautiful, comfortable, open-air, relaxing it honestly feels like you're having brunch in the middle of a farmhouse postcard. Now let's talk about the food. Lord have mercy. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, because somebody at the table had to show some restraint. Meanwhile, everybody else ordered what I'm calling 'The Cure' yes, like the band because that burger looks like something you need catcher's gloves and a construction permit to hold together. Bacon, egg, burger, giant bun, everything stacked about six stories high. That burger doesn't come to the table. It arrives. The food was absolutely delicious. By the end of brunch I was filled beyond capacity, moving even slower than my injured knee already allowed, but happier than a kid walking into Disney World. And then there was Megan, our server. Listen. I'm pretty sure Megan is AI. We started firing off six different orders, substitutions, drinks, sides the whole family talking at once and this woman didn't pull out a pen, notepad, tablet... nothing. She just stood there absorbing information like ChatGPT with an apron on. I'm thinking, there is no way she remembers all this. Everything came out perfect. I'm convinced she had a secret Bluetooth connection directly to the kitchen. And the service didn't stop there. Megan kept checking on us, refilling things, making sure everybody was happy. Honestly, it felt like she had a twin working the other side of the table. Ask for Megan. She rocks. Bottom line, Blossom and Brie is absolutely worth the drive. The atmosphere, the animals, the farm setting, the restaurant, the food, the service all fantastic. We drove almost two hours, my knee complained the entire way, I probably ate enough calories to cancel out my pain medication, and I would still make that trip again. Great food. Beautiful place. Amazing family memories. And yes once again, my wife was right. But please don't tell her I said that. Ten out of ten. Worth every mile.
