I hate my tastebuds sometimes because I love steak and I always order it medium rare but I can never tell the difference between cuts and the textures. Maybe it has always been too many toppings on the steaks but even though I ordered this one plain, I still couldn't tell. That's not their fault of course. It's mine. So why is it 4 stars? It didn't feel like enough. The potato was great. The fries were ok a the steak was fine. But it was, "nothing to write home about." Our favorite server is not here tonight and we felt it. Unfortunately this visit was a bit of a let down. Hostess appeared to not want to be here, which set the tone for our entire visit. If you stop in, expect to wait a while before being greeted by the server and making drink orders. Orders were made but took a long time for our meals to arrive at the table - unfortunately the line cooks are driving this bus and it's not going well at all. I cannot wait to get out of this booth as we have been here wayyyyyy tooooooo loooooong. Do yourself a favor and skip Logan's. I'm actually bummed having to write this, as Logan's used to be a favorite of mine but the food her on Saturday was awful; I actually didn't eat dinner at all even after they remade my dinner, the second was worse than the first. The bright spot here was the staff trying to make it right, but you could see by their faces and their voices that them having to apologize for the food quality and kitchen staff has become the norm for them; they were defeated. I only took one photo of the food, which was my second sirloin they gave me. The meat is gray, literally gray. I know the photo doesn't show just how awful it is, but trust me. It was supposed to be cooked medium; it's fully well done. My brother also had the sirloin and I wish I would've taken a photo of what they served me vs him. His was served raw, also ordered medium, but the cut of the meal is entirely different. Both my mom and dad, who ordered prime rib and pork chops, had quesy stomachs all night after dining here. My husbands ribeye was overcooked, tough and also gray-ish looking. I really hope that Logan's can make some changes in the kitchen and food quality because if not, they won't be around much longer. read more

This is my first trip to this place and it's a little disappointing that they don't have one of these in Tampa. My husband was feeling nostalgic and had been wanting to go to Logan's since they opened...he loved their rolls as a kid. Normally, we aren't chain restaurant people but I was in the mood for anything so off we went. The pros: - very nicely decorated - wood paneling, warm reds, and patriotic American flag on the wall made of beer cans. The bar was a cool design. - our server Michael was very kind and hospitable - the baked beans, mac and cheese, and flavor of the chicken tenders were very tasty - ribs had a great flavor - those dang rolls are addictive The cons: - my husbands steak (ordered rare) was definitely rare but also the fat wasn't rendered at all - needed to be cooked on higher heat - fries were brown and obviously cooked in old oil - chicken tenders had a delicious flavor but lacked chicken! Super weak, thin tenders and tons of breading - the ribs...similar to tenders, great flavor but very very little meat on the bones - the wait time on our meal was about 30 mins and the place was about half full, a bit surprising So, a so/so meal experience overall. What a great place! Ruby was our friendly and awesome server. My hubby and I were just driving around and thought we ought to check this place out. They have the regular menu along with the Real Deal Menu where you pick a beverage, choice of salad and an entree with an additional side included along with bottomless rolls. They also offer an onion appetizer for just $4. My hubby and I got the 6 ounce center cut top sirloin steak with baked potato. We decided to share the appetizer but couldn't finish all of it but it was so good we decided to bring the rest home to enjoy. The steaks were perfectly prepared to our individual liking, baked potato very yummy and our salads were so fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the entire meal there was no room for dessert. This location offered salmon, beer battered fish, shrimp , chicken etc. so if you aren't in the mood for steak there is a great selection of other options as well. We really wanted to like this place. The Server seemed very nice at first, but then her behavior became a bit odd and somewhat manic. The Cocktails were beautiful and very tasty, and the potato skin app was delicious. The rolls were just ok. kind of bland and a bit doughy Then our entries came. The pork chops were tiny and incredibly tough and overcooked. The Ribeye steak was paper thin and not a hint of salt on it. Same with the French fries. Been driving by Logan's for a while , finally decided to stop and have a late lunch. Sat at the bar, which is typical for us. Tee, our bartender, was very personable and patient with us. We finally ordered too much food. I had a hamburger and my husband had ribs and chicken tenders. He saw the onion rings and had to order them. We ended up taking 1/2 of everything home. Large portions and very tasty, flavors were delicious and cooked just right. At 1:20pm Logan's was quiet, music variety playing in the background. The place was clean and spacious. I would come back if I wanted warm butter rolls for dinner. The Logan's by my sisters house closed before she was able to use her gift card so she gave it to me. My boyfriend and I drive by all the time and I'd been wanting to try it forever... I was disappointed. I ordered a medium fillet and I'm pretty sure this is rare. I would have said something but it took a while for the server to come back and so I ate most of it. Unfortunately I couldn't stomach the middle and brought it to my dog. The green beans were from a can with some seasoning. The inside was decorated well and the lighting like mentioned above was great. We will not be back. We finally tried the new Logan's restaurant in Fort Myers yesterday. We were pleasantly surprised how exceptionally friendly EVERYONE was. The food was out quickly and cooked perfectly. The service was attentive and perfectly timed. We were never out of drinks. The restaurant is very clean and they have daily affordable food specials. Here's a tip... the Costco has 100$ of gift cards to Logan's for 75$. We will definitely put this location in our weekly rotation. read more

First time here and my first Logan's experience. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. My fiancé and I came here for the first time with friends. We had a very good dinner of steak. We had their large frozen mugs of beer which was prefect for this hot day. My girly made the comment it's not as noisy like Texas Roadhouse can be. My steak was a little done but it was really tasty. Table of 5 and 1 kid, 2 trouts with shrimp were 7/10, Logan's steak was 6/10, my husband said it didn't taste right maybe it is sous vide , he had to ask for steak sauce to give it some flavor. I ordered a sirloin medium with broccoli and rice and it came with a hair tangled in the broccoli, I sent it back and came back well done and it seemed the same broccoli with the same hair. I get mistakes happen, but they just didn't want to make it right in the kitchen. Of course I'll never go back and honestly I now know why it is so empty there. read more

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and all I can say is It was the worst service I've ever had. We usually sit at the bar because the service is better- but this barmaid definitely did not want to work. It's a large U shaped bar and there were 2 people sitting at each side, so we went straight ahead. Our place was dirty, left over from the previous customers- and they had left before we ever walked in the door. We ordered our food and sat and enjoyed our sandwiches. A new patron came and sat at the bar and after about 5 minutes she looked around and ask all of us if there was a bartender, we all looked around and there she sat in a booth along the outside of the bar, looking at her phone and talking to three other employees. She never came back to ask us how our food was. Then a single gentleman came in and sat on the side where previous patrons had vacated 20 minutes before- and their drink glasses were still on the counter and he had to ask her to please clean them up. He finally asked if there was anyone who could get him a drink, and someone soon appeared but not our barmaid! When we finally decided she was not coming back another employee took our check and totaled us out. We always tip, but not this time.!! I dined at Logan's with my husband previously. And it was good. I took my mother there for Mother's Day. My steak was overcooked. It took forever for us to get our meal. However, they need to step it up as a steakhouse. Their wine is out of a can who drinks wine out of a can that I paid $9 for completely wasted money. And it was disgusting.and Green Beans out of a can in a restaurant that is just disgusting. This restaurant needs to step it up. There is too much competition out there.I will not be dining with this restaurant again.I would go back to longhorn.Or outback before I stepped foot in this restaurant again.Clean it up get a wine list and hire more servers. While exiting the bathroom My son asked, hey dad, did you see that?
