Stopped here for lunch on our way back from Sanibel Island. Very nice place. Plenty of seating inside. We were able to get a table outside (took a little wrangling). Food was excellent. Fish tacos (blackened) were so good. Atmosphere was beautiful. Service was very attentive. The place is somewhat hidden, but would definitely recommend going here. We'll be back.

Great seafood with a view of the water! Live music by the bar. Rich lobster bisque! I had the tritail fish special...excellent!

The Lighthouse Waterfront was the perfect way to end our Sanibel trip. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was attentive and friendly, the drinks were delicious, and every dish at our table was excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant. We were delighted to catch the most stunning sunset while dining, and even got a beautiful group picture with that golden light in the background. If you are visiting Sanibel island, you must dine there, you won't be disappointed.

This place was fantastic! The food was all delicious! I got the tuna poke and it was quite filling. Yes it is listed as an appetizer, but I believe it can be a meal for one. The tuna was fresh and so good. My only suggestion is somehow they need to make a bigger parking lot. So many want to come to this restaurant because it is one of the best.

What a beautiful waterfront restaurant. We were seated along the windows overlooking the gorgeous deck and water. If it had been warm we souls gave sat outside. We decided to have an appetizer, then the grilled jumbo shrimp dinner. It cones with one side do I paid extra for the asparagus. It was di relaxing that I decided to have one of their specialty drinks. I chose the Sunset Punch fit my drink and their Lighthouse Bruschetta for the appetizer. The bruschetta is so fresh and delicious. My drink was not only beautiful but very refreshing and delicious. My shrimp was grilled to perfection, my sweet potato was very yummy and I liked their whipped cinnamon butter on it. They also brought out a list of freshly baked bread which was so very light and delicious. For dessert my hubby and I shared a slick of key lime pie. So very smooth and tasty. The service was excellent, quality of food was excellent . We shall return. FYI regarding the check they automatically add a 3 percent fee into your total for a credit card. In small print underneath this is the total amount if paid with cash.

The Seafood Casserole is delicious. It's light and served until 4pm. I had a beer from Fort Myers Brewery which was yummy. Perfect after a long drive. The place is really pretty and on the water. Service was great. Everyone was friendly

If i could give 6 star i would .. Right from the start when Tedie amd i walked in we thought ok gonna spend some Dollars here which is Ok . If you have read anything i reviewed its about getting what pay for . Now back to walking in. Octopus decor everywhere (i was happy) lol .. so we sat at Bar to gave an amazing espresso martini and a chargrilled octopus tostada .. Ryan was amazing, personable , honest did not push most expensive thing on us . So after joking around and talking to him we Decided to stay at Bar . Ryan paced us out not pushy.. asked him to get soup he liked best for me !! Lobster Bisque was one of the best and the bread got every bit of it out of the bowl . Moved on to a bacon jam pork chop it was so good . After all that and 3 drinks it was 97.00 and some change . This is the reason we will be vacationing again in Captiva . Ryan first then the light house fantastic food and atmosphere. Oh yea a beautiful sunset .. Thank you again Ryan . You made the trip great . One other not if you wanna have Ryan as a server . He is only there Mondays

First time here, went for lunch. Sat on the lovely veranda overlooking the water, all seating is under shade with ceiling fans, it's quite lovely & relaxing. We had the fish dip, conch chowder & a tuna wrap, all was great, service was excellent.

Unicorn fish served artichoke piccata style with broccoli.

With reservations for a birthday dinner we were a little early but seated right away in a busy dining room. I ordered a Shrimp Livornaise with housemade pasta. The dish was tasty and the shrimp were large but the pasta was minimal and just ok. We split a Cedar salad and saw a $5 charge on our bill for the kitchen splitting the salad, of which we were not informed when ordering. Also our bill included a 3% "COST OF DOING BUSINESS" charge when first presented, not knowing if we were paying by Cash or Credit card. Not the same experience as our first visit.

But as we left, we both said to each other that something was off and we wouldn't be back. I can't put my finger on it exactly. It didn't help that they charge an extra fee for doing business (!) that was on the bill presented to us --even before they knew whether we were going to pay with cash or a credit card -- and that they had a splitting dish charge of $5 (which I had them remove; as it was never explained, only offered). Or that they never acknowledged my husband's birthday. But they did have our reservation correctly and we were seated immediately. The room is large and airy and open. But it's also without any warmth or personality. The large loud table of young couples seated next to us -- who didn't know what most of the menu items were -- didn't help. Our service was okay, too. But here again something felt a tad off and fake. We started by sharing a caprese salad. We added extra balsamic glaze. For our main dishes, my husband had the shrimp Livornese. Large shrimp served with olives and capers in a tomato sauce. The pasta was skimpy and he doubted that it was housemade. I had their salmon. It came with mashed potatoes and a couple asparagus spears. It was good. For dessert, we had the berry cobbler without the ice cream. It was disappointing. And would have been better served hot -- not barely lukewarm. I'm glad we came back to try them. Now we know.

When we got there, I noticed that several of the items on the menu that had been gluten free no longer were (their "GF" labels were whited-out). The miso salmon was labeled as GF and we double checked. We were assured that it was. When it was served I was eating it and decided to double check since miso normally has soy sauce. The manager came by and we asked him. He said it was good, but that he would check with the chef. The head chef wasn't there, but the sous chef gave note to the manager. The manager insisted that it was okay. He never said that gluten-free soy sauce was used. I'm pretty sure it's not, because I'm sick today. Frankly I'd skip this place next time, although the ambiance and views are stunning, and the wait staff was very attentive.

My daughter ordered the mussels which she liked. I ordered the stuffed arancini which was very good. Nice atmosphere so we decided to linger longer with coffee and dessert. That did not go well. We decided to share the crème brûlée. Unfortunately that night we both came down with food poisoning symptoms. The crème brûlée was the only food we shared. I did call the restaurant later the next day to inform them so they were aware and could correct the situation. I was only able to leave a message. Hopefully they received it as I never heard back from them.
