Cachet Cleaners is now Peaches Cleaners. Tried there for my first time today. When I returned to pick up my one dress, I was told no credit cards accepted for amounts under $6. My dress cost $5.95. Although she said the policy is on her receipt, there wasn't one. She moved her policy printed on letter size white paper behind another register. I couldn't read the font. When I returned home. I called the lady and told her, "Because of the unfriendly tone of voice I heard, I won't be returning to your business." She said she was sorry. "You're too late." I told her and ended my call. I've been using them for a couple of months. The service sucks. It takes nearly a week to get a shirt cleaned. They claim COVID slowed them down. Whatever. Today they demanded I pay 8 dollars for a single cleaned shirt because their POS terminal costs them 45 cents for a debit transaction even though bill was only 3.84. Horrendous Customer Service!!! After searching reviews online to find the best dry cleaners for my wedding gown I decided to make the 30+ minute trek to Cachet Classic Cleaners. When I dropped off the gown the lady working the storefront couldn't give me a quote so I had to leave my gown with her to wait for the owner to provide me with a quote. The gown had been worn for an outdoor wedding and needed special attention at the hemline. The quote that was eventually provided was reasonable and I let them proceed with cleaning my gown. After a month I received a request to inspect the gown. When I arrived at Cachet Classic Cleaners the lady pulled my wedding gown and petticoat out in a basket. The hem of both still had mulch stuck to it and stains remained. I asked that it be sent back for further cleaning which the lady was happy to accommodate. Three weeks later I called Cachet Classic Cleaners to find out the status and was informed that my gown was ready. When I arrived at storefront today the gown looked much better (tiny mulch remnants remained) but the bag that I had brought the gown in was now broken. The owner came out when I asked his front desk person about the bag and began to berate me. He told me that the bag was broken when it was brought in which it hadn't been; the zipper had worked beautifully. He then yelled at me about the mulch in the hemline and complained about having had to get it cleaned twice. I was appalled. I told him that I was disappointed and would never be back. While the product was good the service was horrendous - this business has forever lost a customer. read more

I sometimes need my dry cleaning to be done fast because of my job in the aviation industry. My time at home is short some months. This place was able to get it done quickly while offering great service. I've been to a few dry cleaners, and on that note don't ever go to Phoenix Cleaners in Friendswood because they won't clean your clothes and they'll hold your clothes hostage until you pay for work they didn't do, and now I make an effort to drive over 30 minutes away when I have a dry cleaner right down the road to go here. Exceptional cleaning services by this company. I have been using pilgrims for quite some time, but due to some unprofessionalism I had to make a change. Cachet has longer service hours, and a quicker return service. Not to mention the cleaning service itself. My third time using them I apparently left $40 cash in my peacoat. They called me and told me that it would be in an envelope whenever I picked up my clothes. That's top-notch customer service and I know that they do it for all customers because the first time I was in the store, I seen them returning cash to someone. I was very impressed with the service I received at this cleaners. I brought some curtains that had been in flood waters and was since I was not sure what to do with them, it had been 5 weeks since the flood when I brought these in. They didn't guarantee they would get cleaned but would try. I came back to pick them up and they were fantastic. The employee said he had to clean these 3 times and would not charge extra because he wanted to do a good job. Would not use anyone else after this! read more

Every cleaners I've ever used lets you know how much you will be charged when you drop off your dry cleaning. Not Cachet Cleaners. I dropped off my son's military uniforms and asked the employee how much it would be and I was told they would tell me when I came to pick up my clothes. I told her I didn't like that policy and demanded she give me the prices or I would go somewhere else. She wrote the prices on the back of my pick up notice which totaled $35. When I went to pick up my sons uniforms the owner became very irate with me and told me the price was not $35 it was $102! I told him that's NOT what I was quoted (showing him what his employee wrote down) and that I was NOT going to pay $102! He totally disrespected, belittled me and screamed at me-all in front of other customers!! I told him I would NEVER do business with him again and again yelled at me telling me he didn't want my business! I miss the previous owners, Dixie Cleaners!! They knew how to take care of our military as I was NEVER charged for cleaning my sons uniforms! Dear Mr. Owner of Cachet Cleaners......this is not how you run a business!!!! read more

I have been coming to this cleaners since it initially opened as Dixie Cleaners years ago. So I have been a customer for at least 15-plus years. This morning, when I attempted to drop off 3 shirts for laundering, the man who states he is the owner would not even let me speak to tell him how I wanted my shirts finished. Mind you, he had already been short/terse/rude with me before but I didn't let him know my displeasure with his service at that time. So I finally was able to tell him and left. But I found myself upset at the way this owner had treated me and, considering how he had treated me before, decided that this issue should be addressed. Well, when I returned, he refused to acknowledge how he had spoken to me and even escalated to cursing and all! I really don't think I require more than to be treated with dignity and mutual respect like everyone else. But this owner seemed to think that l "think I own his business" (yes he said that to me) and that he really did not care about my perception of how he had treated me as a loyal customer. Needless to say, I will not be going back there since this owner displayed, in vivid colors, that he does not value my loyalty or my business. read more

I used this cleaners for years when it was Dixie Cleaners. The first time I dropped off laundry after Cachet took over, they wouldn't tell me how much my total would be. I was told they'd tell me when I picked it up. This was very strange but I chalked it up to them being new and they'd get it worked out. Nope. That's apparently the process as it happened the next 2 times. The staff was rude and my laundry was not ready when promised. Took my business elsewhere (Friendswood 1.19 Cleaners) and have been very happy with them. Given the way Cachet does business, I doubt they'll last long. read more
