    Pecan waffle & pork sandwich
    Vanessa B.

On a road trip through the fly over states toward the east coast, I kept googling/yelping for great places to stop & everyone seemed to love Clackleberries... so we stopped! The family diner feel was appreciated. The wait was pretty short considering the Sunday morning church crowd with the church bells blaring in the background of the town. My boyfriend has looked up what the state was known for so he knew he was getting the pork sandwich. I wasn't feeling amazing so I got a pecan waffle. Food was delicious and the place is homey and cute with very friendly servers and hosts. Definitely worth the stop.

Huge multigrain pancakes and sausage patties.

Quickly seated in a booth in the brightly decorated dining area. Very lovely looking place. Promptly served with a traditional diner menu. Ordered some classics and food came very quickly. Portions are huge. Server said most people order three or four pancakes. I ordered three and still way too much. Nevertheless, they were quite good. Sausage patties were nice but there were bits of gristle and bone in them. Wifey had eggs and bacon which came with some lovely roasted taters; not greasy, nor salty, just a nice way to serve taters for breakfast. Well done. Really nice diner experience at a very reasonable price.

Salads are fresh with good protein options. Perfect for those who don't want a heavy breakfast or meal but you will still be satisfied.

There is no doubt this is one of the top places my wife likes to go for brunch. Unequivocally this is a place that, heaven forbid it happen, if it were to shut down for a day or two or longer.....there might be a protest. The layout of tables allows them to get many hungry customers into the building by still not feel cramped. The food is always very consistent. Servers are very efficient. The cleanup crew is also friendly and deserves accolades!! Go to CACKLEBERRIES NOW!!!

Try the Manhattens, they scrumptious. Then get prepared to nap. Can't wait to go back & try something else on the menu.

Terrible biscuits and gravy. Average pancakes. Very noisy. Look elsewhere for better food. Much better food at Kat-A-Korner in Sullivan, IN

Our son comes here often after he goes to Church on Sundays for a hearty, delicious breakfast. We come here when we visit him for the exact same reason- plus the fact that the service is legit. If you're reading this, you're probably in or near TH. It's on Wabash Ave and there are no shortage of places to eat. Coffee Cup has one of the best breakfasts in town (see my reviews for the other one I love)- and it's affordable, filling, and most of all delicious. We always worry our son is eating right in college, but those fears are assuaged when we take him here. Love this place- if you have a kid at ISU or RHIT- it's a winner. If you are a TH resident- lucky you- another great place in your wonderful town.

When asked at the end by the owner how everything was I let him know it was less than impressive. I said the sauce was gross. His response was " like you". Why ask my opinion then attack me? Then an overweight too-much-make-up-wearing server had the audacity to say "you ate one plate of spaghetti". Yes mam, my 4 year old ate the plate. When we left she said it was the nastiest spaghetti she's ever had. I asked twice for a water that never came also during my visit. All in all, I'd NEVER return. My issue was treated like I was looking for a discount and couldn't just be a conversation about how gross the food was. What terrible customer service.

I have really debated how many stars they should get. On…read moreone hand, the food was really good! My daughter and I both got the Chicken Gyro (that's not its full name, but that's what I remember). That was our plan B bc they were out of corned beef. It was awesome and so huge that we had to use a fork and knife to eat it. The Parmesan fries with curry was also very good. We got there during an off time. There were 6 ppl dining when we came in. It took probably 10-15 minutes before we got to order. We were there for 30 minutes before we got our drinks. I had to go out to the car to get the drinks we had in there bc we got thirsty. I also don't think they change table cloths between customers. Once the other people left, tables were cleared but crumbs remained. When I came back from the car, there was an insect crawling on our table. I won't say the R word, but I'm pretty sure it was a baby R. I pointed it out & worker squished it in her fingers and tried to save face by saying it was a spider (definitely wasn't a spider) or an aphid (most definitely not an aphid). I hate giving bad reviews, especially to small businesses, and they probably don't deserve the 3 stars, but the food was delicious when we finally got it ... just tried not thinking about the critter. Not having a restroom wasn't great either. We do prefer to wash our hands before we eat, as one should. We went out to our car to use our hand sanitizer. After other customers left, I also started to play my own music at the table. They obviously had kids in the back and had a children's show fairly loud, which was just kind of annoying. That may be nitpicking, but dining in was just not a good experience all around... besides the food. Sorry
