There are a few meals in my life where everything is compared to it from that day forward. This is one of them. I had the Porter (goetta) and my husband had the Lolo (longanisa, the filipino sweet sausage). We also shared an extra side of the pickled slaw. The bread was perfect. The goetta rivals my husband's homemade fare. And you can never go wrong with longanisa. I feel sorry for the breakfast Sammies of our future, this is a bar that has been set incredibly high. If you're in Cincinnati for any reason over a weekend, don't skip out on this place. P.S. My previous favorite breakfast sammich, was also out of a cute little trailer, but in San Diego.

Cackleberry is serving up Filipino inspired breakfast sandwiches on weekend mornings only. The vibe of this lively food truck on a summer's day with the speaker playing music and the outdoor seating is unmatched. The service is also very friendly and their menu is succinct and to the point. The breakfast sandwiches were absolutely fantastic with soft brioche buns, fluffy eggs, tasty toppings, and an addicting aioli that took it to the next level. It is absolutely worth going out of your way to catch breakfast here before they sell out every weekend.

I'm not sure why it took me so long to try Cackleberry in Cincinnati's East Walnut Hills neighborhood. Now that I have, I wish I could go back in time and enjoy them for the first time again. Cackleberry's concept is simple. Top tier breakfast sandwiches, crafted with impeccable local ingredients on soft brioche buns, served on weekends only, out of a tiny trailer in a parking lot located in an upcoming Cincinnati neighborhood. The menu is small. Six excellent sandwiches with outstanding ingredients. Bacon. Egg. Cheese. Goetta. Longanisa. Spam. Avocados. We arrived at the trailer on a blistering hot summer Sunday morning around 10:00 am. The smells wafting from the trailer were incredible. The few picnic tables next to the trailer were already full with local patrons enjoying their wares. The staff of three, one to take orders, one to cook, and one to wrap were efficient and friendly. While the menu is tiny I struggled with my decision everything sounded so fucking good! I settled for the Benny, described as such: Benny hickory smoked bacon, local pasture raised over medium egg, sharp cheddar cheese, caramelized onion and chipotle ketchup in a warm brioche bun The sandwich was outstanding. Made fresh and hot with obviously high quality ingredients the sandwich was without a doubt one of if not the best breakfast sandwiches I'd ever had. The ingredients work so well together. Thick cut bacon piled high on a perfectly cooked eggs, sharp cheddar cheese, and chipotle ketchup mingle together deliciously. The soft roll a perfect vessel for the tasty ingredients. Everything washed down with a delicious local iced coffee. While we dined in the shadow of a refurbished apartment building the line swelled with locals, kids and dogs in tow ready to have their minds blown by this perfect breakfast. Places like Cackleberry need to be praised, revered, and supported. While MacDonalds and Jimmy Dean make perfectly serviceable brekkie sammiches, Cackleberry is making magic.

Smalls, add bacon & avocado on the right.

Incredible sandwiches. Best bacon I've ever had, cooked to crispy perfection. Great service. Reasonable price. Highly recommend!!!!!

Drove by this little restaurant trailer after getting some coffee. We were on our way to first watch but had to stop by to support our local mom and pop restaurants. They have a cute little section to sit down and eat beside the trailer. They specialize in breakfast sandwiches and the menu was pretty straightforward. The wait for the food was 20 minutes and parking was abundant with a nearby lot. We got the lalo sandwich and Benny. The lalo sandwich had spam, eggs and a spicy mayo sauce with some chives. The brioche buns were a bit more dense and not the fluffiest I've had. The Benny sandwich had a lot of bacon in that was a bit dry, hard, and reminded me of jerky. It felt like I was eating a bun with tons of bacon in it. The cheddar, eggs and the sauce it had went well together with it but overall I did enjoy the the lalo better. it's a good place to get a quick bite, but the best breakfast sandwiches I've had is in West chester at Northstar.

Insanely good sandwiches. They were actually deceptively large and really filling ! Especially for the price! I got the smalls with bacon and it was fire! Bacon was realllly thicccc. If you don't like that kind of thing I'd steer away from it, but I loved it. I recommend ordering, then going Nextdoor to the fix for a latte then you have artisanal coffe and a homemade sandwich!

Long story short: insane line, but worth the wait We tried Cackleberry for the first time with no idea what to expect. We rolled up 15 after they opened & were shocked to see a loooong line already. It was a lovely day, so we didn't mind too much, but it truly took over an hour to order & get our food. We got 5 sandwiches, 3 of which were for friends. We ourselves tried the Benny & the Lolo. The Benny was good & had a ton of bacon, but seemed a little underwhelming after the long wait. The Lolo, on the other hand, was incredible & well worth the wait. The sausage & pickled slaw were sweet & tangy, the aioli added a nice garlic note, & the bun was soft & sweet. It was an absolute mess to eat, but so so delicious. I heard rave reviews from our friends who ate the Lola & the Mila as well.

i am the biggest fan of cackleberry szn!! they're PERMANENTLY (!!!) set up in the parking lot right next to cutman barbers in walnut hills EVERY! WEEKEND! and have a cutie lil seating area set up now while ya eat! they pop up from 9AM til sellout, so you gotta get there right at 9 because they get busy and sell out QUICK! but its always always always worth the wait! CINCY'S BEST BREAKFAST SAMMY !

Cackleberry is my favorite breakfast spot in town. Their breakfast sandwiches are made with love out of their cute little trailer and the quality is always 10/10. China and Nate are the sweetest and there's always plenty of dogs to pet while you wait!

Some of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had! Their flavors are so creative with a flare of asian influences. Their sandwiches feature Japanese rolled egg aka tamagoyaki which makes their sandwiches so unique in my opinion. The egg is so cloud like and fluffy. Some of my favorite proteins featured are spam and longanesia, a Filipino sausage. Since they are a pop up - wait times can be along (it's only one person doing all the cooking) but I assure you it's worth if you have time to spare. For reference it took me about 45min to get my food. Such a fun concept, definitely recommend. Keep an eye out for their instagram posts for time and location!

Worth the wait!! The vibe is on point--great music playing, funky art and signs, small seating area, and of course some MEGA YUM sandos. We got the Porter with crispy thick goetta and the Benny with huge amount of tasty bacon. Both were delicious and we will definitely be back!!

One of the best things I've had for breakfast in Cincinnati!!! Got the Lola and Lolo, and added avocado to both. The Lola had a delicious fluffy egg omelette inside and the flavors were so fantastic. Can't wait to come back and hope that someday they open daily and not just on the weekends!

The menu for the day was large, especially for a food truck, and featured tacos, quesadillas, burgers, grilled cheese, and sandwiches. I had the chicken tacos which featured braised chicken, roasted corn and tomato pico, and lime sour cream (2 tacos for $9). The tortillas were filled with plenty of chicken and toppings and the taste was great. We went back for hush puppies later in the day, and my daughter still talks about how good those were. I wouldn't hesitate to hit up this food truck in the future and will have to remember Vitor's Bistro if I'm ever out in West Harrison.

Just from a glance at the menu I knew I wanted to come back and try something. I think Urban Vistro is a fairly new addition to the Cincinnati food truck scene and it's a great one. It was a tough night for them with so many drunk people and lots of orders stacked up so it did take a while for my food to come out but it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the Unforgettable French Toast and the Cincinnati Pig Dog. Due to the long wait I also walked off with a quesadilla that was offered up by the truck's owner. Everything was delicious. I really hope to see this truck around town again!
