Quite possibly the most beautiful spa I have ever been to…read more Quiet, secluded and set back away from the lovely, strolling paths within Las Ventanas... It is a hidden garden. You'll relax and wait for your treatment, of which there are many that are absolutely delicious, under the shade of a palapa and surrounded by breezy palms, peaceful running water and beautiful flowers. The spa includes his and hers steam rooms, outdoor showers, a cold plunge, a warm soaking pool and the private massage rooms are also beautiful in and of themselves. I highly recommend at least dipping your feet in the cold plunge after you arrive from your flight - to take down any puffiness from travel. The Spa at Las Ventanas is a luxurious, secret oasis. Not to be missed during your stay.

The distinctive indoor-outdoor design of the spa complements exquisite spa journeys and has made Las Ventanas one of the most desired destinations among Los Cabos spa resorts. In a verdant and tranquil setting, guests enjoy exquisite indoor-outdoor treatment rooms with private terraces, duet suites for couples, a serene solarium and full-service beauty salon. Under the protective canopy of palms and thatched palapas, guests are renewed and revitalized with personalized spa and salon programs. The spa's look and décor echoes the style of the resort, including hand-troweled exterior walls in a desert-sand color, wood and wrought-iron furniture in earthy pastels, and special touches including a hand-crafted salon floor created by Mexican artisans. The resort's core design motif - curving walls and spaces - flows through the spa and salon. Creating an evocative sense of arrival, the spa lobby with its rock fountain, comfortable seating areas ringed by palm trees and reception desk are located under a large palapa. The treatment cabanas, boast an outdoor shower and a private terrace and garden, allowing guests to enjoy treatments indoors and/or outdoors.

Fine spa situated on the Grand Fiesta Americano resort…read more My girlfriends and I each booked a Signature Massage for our first visit. The experience was of one very similar to spas we visit in the Bay Area. *Book your appointment and pay for your service. *Arrive 10 minutes early to get checked in. *Escorted to open locker room to change into a robe and slippers (lockers to lock up your belongings at no charge) * Sauna or Jacuzzi are available and optional. * Brought to a waiting area to be met with fruit and wine. * massage therapist will call you in when your room is ready. My masseuse put me to sleep so I guess I could say that this place checks all the boxes.

This is how my sister tricked me into paying for the massage. My sister and I got the Swedish Massage and we arrived about an hour earlier to use the facilities. They had a dry sauna, a steam room (which didn't work), a hot tub (water was about 100 degrees, but no bubbles), and a cold water plunge. The facilities were clean and the attendants very nice. It was pretty empty so we had the whole place to ourselves. The massage was amazing. We were in a shared room and the massage therapist was professional and the room comfortable. Apparently it looks out over the ocean, but since we had an evening massage we didn't see anything. After the massage they give you a glass of wine and a heated lavender neck pillow. It was amazing!! We tried to book another appointment for the following day, but with the freak rain storm passing thru, they were all booked up. But they were kind enough to let us use the spa facilities again for free ... unfortunately with the rain, a lot of the equipment wasn't working (steam room, and the ceiling plaster had fallen into the hot tub - hence minus the stars). The fitness center for the hotel is also in this space - located right next door. There is no cost to use the gym. They didn't have a ton of equipment but most of it was in decent condition. And you get a lovely view of the ocean when you are running or biking in place. We went one afternoon when it was pouring rain and there were only 5 people there ... so no line for the equipment. Not a lot of options for the free weights but since I'm not the Rock, it was fine.
