Brought it to the store, and they exchanged with no problems, put up a backing on my reel, and answered all my questions.

Whether it's the lack of knowledge or care in customer service. I've stopped going to big chains now and have fully given these guys my business. Aside from the occasional ammo pickup but, besides during this whole fiasco, Mazama usually has all the ammo I could ever need. They've always been super helpful and really knowledgeable. And they always had what I'm looking for. Looking forward to fishing time and seeing what else they've got to offer. From what I've seen, they look like they could have just about anything I could ever need in regards to fishing as well so we'll see! Also, just found out that I can come in and work on my AR there and they would help me out as well. So looking forward to doing that too! Thank you for all you guys do and thank you for staying open to supply us during this time. I'm sure I speak for all the enthusiast stopping by in the area when I say, we appreciate your guys hard work!

The sales staff is... mediocre. They mostly stand around talking bullshit to one another and occasionally helping customers. Sometimes they know what they're talking about. Sometimes they don't. I've literally heard one of them suggesting that murder of politicians is a solution for political issues but I'm sure they were just kidding; also, please sign their petitions if murder isn't your thing. I count on needing to do my own research and go into the store knowing what I'm looking for, because they're not always as well-informed as they appear. The salesman selling you a silencer doesn't know that a Form 3 is. $100 transfer fee for NFA items not purchased from SilencerShop/Mazama website is expensive but hey, that's just the price we pay for getting cool shit.

We walk in, to be greeted by silence. Total and complete silence. I look over a rack in time to see this nerdy-looking douche staring in our direction from the cash register. We make eye contact, which is the perfect opening to greet us. Does he take it? Nope. Ok, well the Oregon Sports employees have never been famous for their customer service, no matter which location you visit. I'm in the middle of a discussion with my husband, and I hear his name yelled. Apparently he worked with our douche of an employee like a year ago. So, he's distracted. Which means I have plenty of time to wander and find things. Sadly, find things I did! We ended up spending almost $150. Apparently he was in a good mood last night and bought me everything I wanted. Lol. Failing that, he felt bad for making me go to that crappy bar I just finished reviewing. Either way I found some great Nike shirts and a hat. I'm picky about my Duck gear and wear exclusively Nike for that. I found a good selection and was impressed. Nathan found one shirt, I believe. Everything else was mine. There's a single mirror in the women's section, that's completely hidden/camouflaged, and I had to ask where it was. There's no fitting room. My only saving grace is I was wearing multiple shirts, so I can try stuff on over them if needed. I was not impressed by this though. So douche (I forget his name, as he's not important enough to remember) previously worked with my husband. There was some sort of personality conflict between him and the managers. Somehow after listening to him, I could see why. Customer service is huge in my husband's job. This guy fit in far better at Oregon Sports, where he wasn't required to have any customer service skills. I was impressed by the selection in this store, although small and cramped, it deserves 3-4 stars. The customer service is a 1 star shit show. So that's why it gets 2 stars. Will I return? Probably, but not in the near future. My husband already paid a small fortune for his whim. I doubt he'll be excited to let me in there loose again. Lol.

After reading a few of these reviews..I thought I'd chime in..I've been to this location a handful…read moreof times. Always have a great selection of adult items..I always overspend ;). But, on this particular day I was in search of gear for my little one Kash who was a little over a year and a half..this kid loves "Ducks" and any SPORTS ball in general!!! He's a FANATIC and I love it!! But, the young girl working there that day was not a fan! We had the store literally to ourselves and my son for a year and a half is very well behaved..but there's BALLS and DUCKS EVERYWHERE within his reach. So he wants to play with all of it at one time!! LOL!! He was in heaven!! Like I said, we had the store to ourselves. It was a ghost town there that day and it happened to be an away game (TV) that day..Back on topic. So, my original goal was to find gear for him. He spotted a duck hat in his size immediately and put it on backwards (never wearing a hat before in his young life) kid amazes me! Next to that are clothes mostly for girls it felt..or unisex..I just didn't see what I was looking for in his size..I asked the girl if I was just not seeing "little kid or boy stuff" at this point she was already irritated that my son was playing with every ball in sight..I was letting him have fun since we were the ONLY ones in the store! She begrudgingly said it's "all in this area" and most is unisex..I had accumulated a small pile of items on the counter while picking up ball after ball repeatedly..so I figured I'd BUY a set of mini Duck ones they had so she would be less irritated with him..It didn't work..so I carried him around vs...hearing her complain..by the time I had picked out about $300 in items I was so stressed out about her annoyance with my sports crazed son..I was ready to leave! Would I go back? Yes, they have great stuff there! Will I "not take my son" next time? HELL NO! Just because you hate your job or kids? I'm not killing the EMENSE JOY my son has for (the) Ducks or Sports! Btw, the items little ones can reach near the floor are dusty and full of cobwebs!!

I'm sad to only give this place three stars, especially after reading all the other stellar…read morereviews. I had higher expectations. I came in here with my husband yesterday and there were two employees working, along with a couple customers. Every single person in the store stopped to stare at us when we went in. The judgement factor was off the charts here. It was extremely clear that they all thought we didn't belong there, and treated us accordingly. We wanted to use the range and rent the necessary equipment to try it out. I've never shot a bow, and so I wanted to learn and see if it was something I wanted to invest in. My husband hadn't shot a bow since he was in Boy Scouts. Awesome opportunity here. We dealt with Trent. I don't know the name of the other employee. But he got things going for us. We had to drag help out of him, it seemed. There was no customer service, asking if we needed help while exploring the store. We finally had to go up to the counter and ask for help. As he was setting up the range, again not terribly talkative. He seemed almost sulky, like a teenager being forced to do chores. I finally had to kind of force a conversation out of him, and it worked. At least he became moderately personable as he was setting everything up. After we practiced and used the range, I had a million questions. I still do because nobody seemed excited to talk to me about it. When we were done we went to pay our fee for using the range, Trent had the perfect opportunity to ask how it went, if we had any questions, or anything else. Nope, just took our money and said have a great day. That's it. The lack of customer service didn't make me feel welcome to ask questions, or that they would be taken seriously if I did. When there's an opportunity to teach, there's an opportunity for not only customer service, but to make a sale too. They failed miserably in this category. It's a nice store with a range, and lots of product. They also sell Black Rifle Coffee. I'm not coming in to buy it here, I'll buy it at 295 Tactical, but it's good to know they carry it now. There's a lot going for the store in terms of the range and product selection. Customer service, not so much. Would I return? To use the range, yes. To buy my bow, no. I'll go find somewhere where there is customer service to teach me and help me find exactly what I need. The Bow Rack is not that place, unfortunately.
