My daughter was the only child for a few more months when we joined the Cadence family! We wanted to make sure she had a school schedule when baby came. From the first time I spoke with Angie, the assistant director, I could tell we would be taken good care of. I told her we were new to child care outside our family and that I would need some major encouragement along with my LO. They did not disappoint. Constant updates the first few weeks, hugs from staff when I was in tears dropping off in the morning with a screaming 3yo, and help with her eating new foods. Her teacher, Ms. Bre, is amazing!!! So patient and ready to help in any way she can. Gives our girl movies when needed and now my girl runs in to school with a smile and open arms for all of her friends! My children have been attending Cadence Academy for almost a year now and I just wanted to share what a wonderful experience it has been for our family. The teachers and staff are so loving and caring. Everyday, both of our children are engaged in age appropriate learning activities that include playing and sharing with others, reading books, as well as using exploration in learning centers. I can tell that each teacher takes the time to put together thoughtful lessons and fun learning activities. The teachers and staff are wonderful at communicating with us daily and do an excellent job at maintaining clean classrooms. Creative Expressions is amazing! They are able to work around my rotating work schedule. This is my second child who has attended. My first child excelled at school, the teachers did an amazing job to prepare him for school. I hoping to have the same success with my youngest. Great Place! read more

We had considered this as an option. I set up a tour and was baffled at what I saw. I wish I'd taken photos or a video. We arrived 15 min early and you could tell they were a bit off put by this. When we arrived you could hear a baby screaming and a teacher yelling from the parking lot. When we went inside the assistant director approached us, knew who we were and proceeded to give a "tour" she went over the daily agenda and then we peeked our heads into the two possible classrooms my child may be assigned to. It was brief but disturbing. The first was the older class (potty trained) the kids were running around recklessly. Several of them had plastic bins or cardboard boxes on their heads, just running around aimlessly. She proceeded to show us the second classroom (not potty trained) all the kids were sitting on the floor aside from one who was rushing to eat an orange slice, the lights were off and the teacher was sitting in a chair in front of the rest of the kids, back turned away from the one at the table having a snack. When my toddler asked why the light was off her response was "To keep them calm" From my understanding this was not during a nap time. This was snack time. We then went onto discuss the rates. I was handed a list of the pricing. The director from her desk as I'm standing in the hall discussed payment with me. My child qualifies for subsidies. I was under the impression this would be at no cost to us. She first asked if he was a foster child. I guess she didn't know to look at our inquiry, maybe the assistant director alone had that info. It was odd because the director talked to me on the phone when I set this whole thing up. She didn't seem to be informed of our situation at all. I just found the whole experience very unprofessional and off putting. As we were driving away kids were playing outside and it looked like there wasn't a teacher with them. They were just standing looking scared near the playground. I really wanted to like this place. I had high hopes for it. It was not what I expected at all and I'm still haunted by that little girl eating alone in the dark. I would not in a million years send any of my children to this place. read more

Love the teachers and staff! My LO has had nothing but a wonderful education while a feeling a safety and love. The moment we walk in we are greeted with personal and genuine interest in my child. She is excited to come to school everyday and misses her teachers when we are home. Couldn't have asked for a better early childhood experience. read more
