My daughter was the only child for a few more months when we joined the Cadence family! We wanted…read moreto make sure she had a school schedule when baby came. From the first time I spoke with Angie, the assistant director, I could tell we would be taken good care of. I told her we were new to child care outside our family and that I would need some major encouragement along with my LO. They did not disappoint. Constant updates the first few weeks, hugs from staff when I was in tears dropping off in the morning with a screaming 3yo, and help with her eating new foods. Her teacher, Ms. Bre, is amazing!!! So patient and ready to help in any way she can. Gives our girl movies when needed and now my girl runs in to school with a smile and open arms for all of her friends! I prayed for a place like this for my kids and I'm so glad we are here!!

The teachers and staff are so loving and caring. Everyday, both of our children are engaged in age appropriate learning activities that include playing and sharing with others, reading books, as well as using exploration in learning centers. I can tell that each teacher takes the time to put together thoughtful lessons and fun learning activities. The teachers and staff are wonderful at communicating with us daily and do an excellent job at maintaining clean classrooms. I couldn't be happier with the care and education both of my children receive while in attendance.

She will glare at you when you express concern about your child's well being. Some of her staff is prejudice and agressive towards white children. Parents are over paying for education that their children isn't even receiving. I would never recommend this daycare.

Occasionally in the mornings the classrooms are combined with different teachers. Out of all the teachers I've ran into I have loved them all! They are sweet to my son and are always encouraging to him! Their meals are healthy and give the children opportunity to try anything and everything. They change diapers every few hours whether the child really needs one or not to keep the child dry at all times. My son started talking around a year but in the past year and a half his language has blown me away. They work everyday to teach the kids something new. If your looking for a school that will really get your child ready to go to kindergarten, while also giving him love and support this is the school for you. I also have to brag on the administration. They are all amazing and have helped me with any problems or information I've needed. Anytime there is ever an incident or anything happens to my son they have a note for me when I get there and are ready to answer any questions.

During the isolation period due to COVID-19, my family was instructed via government orders to stay home unless essential to be out. However, Planet Child Care decided that even though we shouldn't be leaving our house they could still charge full tuition. The government orders stated childcare facilities could remain open for essential employees only but Planet has decided to exploit that and the families who are without pay during this time. It's sad and sickening that I've been part of their "family" for so long but I guess all my kids were to them was an extra paycheck UPDATE: since posting this the director reached out to me to argue that she wasn't charging families if they weren't getting paid. I sent her a screen shot of the email I sent about a week prior stating I was no longer receiving a paycheck. She ignored that but continued to email me to argue that I was the only one complaining about still paying full tuition (which maybe I was the only one complaining to her but I spoke with several other parents who were equally upset, just keeping it to themselves). After fully deciding to remove my daughter from that school she sent a letter out that she was no longer charging tuition to parent not bringing their children in. I will not be sending my daughter regardless, but I can't believe she spent all day arguing with me just to change her mind anyway.

The first time I came to look at the place I was greeted by nothing less than a stale cracker. Karen, the office manager I assume, attempted to show my husband and I around the day care with little to no enthusiasm. Our questions we vaguely answered to say the least. The only thing that kept me interested in the place was the fact that I knew someone who knew my son and I and that made me feel comfortable. When I left my initial visit I was given paperwork to fill out. I started my son right around the new year where he was enrolled for three day which in result with one of those days being a day where the day care was closed. No one explained to me that tuition would be the same regardless of it being shut down or not and this being my first time putting my son in daycare I was not aware. I messaged the daycare trying to understand why I was paying for a day that he was not even able to go and I was told numerous times to refer to their handbook. Confused I kept questioning where is stated in the paperwork I was given where it was. Karen dismissed my question as if explaining to me what I didn't understand was a waste of time. The next day I brought my son and was actually given the handbook that explained everything which was never given to me in the beginning. Because of Karen, we decided to take my son out of this daycare. Because of Karen, and her lack of personality I was completely turned off of this daycare. Other teachers may be great. But I personally could not get past my initial visit and the terrible service provided to the parents. I could not get past sending my son somewhere, where I myself couldn't get help or questions answered.
