When I got there no one was waiting, so I took that as a good sign. The APN Dawn was very kind. She was thoughtful, patient and kind. And she eventually gave me the script I needed. So there's that. I give HER 5 stars. So why did I give only 1 star? Let's start with two words: Windows XfingP. Are you kidding me? In today's day and age with all the patient data and credit card information? Then it turns out that my credit card was not just going to be used to pay for the $17.80 I owed after insurance, but stored - on their computers - on their XP computers. I didn't authorize that and I was assured that my card was only going to be used as a POS charge, not stored. So why did I see on the screen the last 4 digits of my card and a little caption that said "This credit card information will be charged and any additional charges would be put on that card."? WHAT?!?!? I told Dawn that I did NOT authorize that and fortunately I caught her before she pressed the "Process" button. She called Corporate and they had no solution for erasing my credit card data. She was on the phone with them for over 30 minutes just trying to understand and see what she could do. They had no answer other than for me to wait until Monday and see what else showed up on my card. I came up with the clever idea to cancel the whole visit and register me from scratch and enter all the data in again this time choosing CASH instead of CREDIT. IT worked; my credit card information was nowhere to be found. So, for anyone going there, pay cash only unless you want to be a potential victim of a data breach and having to go through the hell of getting a new card.

As soon as I finished entering my name in the computer, I was brought into the room to get my symptoms written down, vitals, etc.. No wait at a doctor??!! HELLZ YA! After going through the typical mumbo jumbo, I was escorted across the hall to Dr. Jeff. Jeff was amazing!! He was the nicest doctor I have ever met. He made me feel so comfortable and really seemed interested in getting me all fixed up and feeling better. He was knowledgeable and discussed everything with me. For a chick with no insurance, I was nervous about going. I had put it off far too long now. Jeff was completely understanding of my situation and worked with me to make the cost as low as possible. For a check-up and all the meds.. I spent less than $80. This was such a savior in my predicament. Now I'm home, in bed, with my antibiotics, on the way to getting healthy again. I hope it happens quickly!! Thanks Take Care Clinic and Jeff for making it happen!

Ridiculous to pay a hefty charge for a question that the doctor probably took a minute to answer. Didn't receive any notification that this change was taking effect or never would have sent a question. EDIT: I did a Google search and found this: "While most MyChart messages will remain free, replies that require medical expertise and more than five minutes of your provider's time may be billed, as we do for other medical services. If a MyChart message is billable, we will first bill your insurance provider, as we do for all other medical services."

Doctor office doesn't even know if she/he accepts a specific insurance plan. Unlike other medical systems who list the names of accepted insurance policies, Duly only lists categories under each insurance company, and patients/representatives/even the doctor's office itself have to guess if an insurance policy is accepted. Insurance company wants me to double check with the doctor's office, supposedly there should be two way communication that each side can confirm. How ridiculous! Manage your organization better!!!! I've heard that their billing department is horrible too - not surprised

I arrived 20 minutes before 8am, when doctors start seeing people. The woman at the check in desk (Debra) was very kind and helpful. She took care of everything, told me I was second & directed me where to go. No one was called in until 8:10am. The woman they called in first came after me and the other woman. Then, 3 more people went in (1 being the woman ahead of me & 2 individuals that arrived afterwards). I checked in with the front desk to see why I hadn't been called. Debra inquired. They called me next. The male nurse took my vitals and was friendly. After he left though, I wanted in the room to see a doctor for another 15 minutes. Checked with the desk; they said someone would be in soon and that there was someone with an emergency they had to attend to first. Doctor saw me for 5 maybe 10 mins max. She was nice. I just really hate how long the entire process took and was charge $50 for all that waiting and such short time seeing the provider. Considering I arrived early and was the second in line, this shouldn't taken as long as it did. I get that medical offices are understaffed; however, the fact that people were called in before me who arrived afterwards, that's unfair. Walk ins should be seen according to the order in which they arrived. I'd give this a one star review if it wasn't for the friendliness of the staff.

They left my legs dangling from the bed and did not offer to prop them up. They were monitoring my heart, which I didn't need. One nurse in particular, Michelle, said I couldn't get up to use the rest room. She placed my medical equipment behind me, so that I couldn't get up. She was a real snot and not professional at all. Finally, I had to pull at the equipment myself just so that I could go to the bathroom. Then, the worse part is that the doctor misdiagnosed my condition ... said I had the start of blood clots and they needed to keep me their for a few days. I had enough, so I checked myself out of the hospital. Next day I went to the E.R. at Central DuPage Hospital. HUGE difference in how I was treated. I had warm blankets, a great bed, and was attended to very well. Found out I did not have the onset of blood clots. I am home now and doing very well, thanks to CDH!

As a consequence this office was my natural first choice when it came to seeing a doctor about my sexual health. My initial visit with Dr. Fermina Ventura was frightening, as I had never seen a gyno before and I didn't know what to expect. I got an STI panel (no shame in getting checked, people!) and a pap so I could start receiving birth control. She was surprisingly sweet and calm, talked me through everything, and answered every question I had. They referred me to see one of their counselors to talk about my treatment options when my pap smear came back highly abnormal. They explained everything as best they could, and sent me home with lots of helpful information. The next time I went to see the Dr., she remembered me! I was fascinated. That clinic has a LOT of patients and I was truly pleased that I was not just another girl, but a patient with real concerns and a name. I see Dr. Ventura once a year now for regular check ups, paps, and occasional cancer screenings. She's my go-to doctor and I would absolutely refer all of my female friends to go see her. If you're worried at all about your privacy here, don't be. They are SUPER DISCREET. They call you from a number that is not registered to the office. If they have something to mail to you, they mail it to you in an unmarked envelope. If they need to call you, they don't even say who they are until they are certain they're speaking to the right person. They 100% respect your privacy.
