She came back and said she tried, but couldn't switch it. Asked if we wanted to speak to the manager. Yes. She came over and we asked her to switch the TV. Still no. As an out-of-towner relocating to Billings, I'm fascinated by the casinos here. So hubby and I stopped in to Cadillac Jax on a whim while exploring the town. "Casino" is sort of a misnomer to me, it's really a space licensed to allow video gambling games. That's it. This particular casino, as explained to us by the very sweet and helpful casino bartender, is one of the only ones that serves free well drinks and draft beers as long as you're gambling. We sat down with $10 each, and a drink each, and I was bored after 20 minutes. I blew through $5, he blew through $10, we tipped the bartender $5 and got out of there. The space was dark and cave-like, but seemed relatively clean. Bartender was lovely. But it's just not our kind of scene. read more

Yesterday afternoon we were looking to have lunch somewhere. I flipped through my blue coupon book to find a deal. I came across a BOGO coupon for Cadillac Jax. It was in our area and we, somewhat hesitantly, decided to eat there. We had never been there before. When we walked in I saw the special board which had a crispy chicken sandwich on special. It sounded good, so I ordered that and my husband ordered the Jax burger which was a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions, I think. My husband had a beer and I had a mimosa. My mimosa was great! Large serving and right proportions. When our food came out I was very happy to see that they had battered shoe string fries with the extra crispies on them. Those are my favorite fries. And they were great. My sandwich was phenomenal! My husband really liked his burger too. Wayland was the bartender that took care of us and he did a great job. He was friendly and took some time to talk with us. We will be back during one of his shifts. My only suggestion would be for Cadillac Jax to put their menu on Facebook and Yelp so people can look at the menu before coming in. read more

To watch a game in town the top 3 spots for tv's are Hooligans, Buffalo Wild Wings and Cadillac Jax. They have the coolest sports bar with changing neon mood lights. Sports memorabilia. Always have prize raffles. March Madness here is a blast! The tv's are all up about halfway neck level (give it a try, yup right there). Patio with fire pit and tvs and friendly staff and casino attached. Perfect for gambling at half time! Food is all fried, burgers suck. Stick to a club sandwhich or something they can't mess up. Prices too much for the below avg bar food. Eat somewhere else before or after. read more

I love this place. Always good service. Great atmosphere. Just a good neighborhood vibe. Just so bummed their menu prices are soooo high. 11 bucks for a burger when Red Robin is a block away for less $$??? Grilled cheese for 7 bucks... I mean atmosphere is worth something always but this is going to hurt the staff alot as it just prices the menu out of most people's budgets. Went to watch the Griz game with friends from Washington and Oregon. Was there a couple of years ago and was very good. The place was not busy we had to wait for someone to come over they were visiting. Ordered a bucket of beer for five of us she took my card and left . She came back once and asked if we needed another bucket (we still had one beer left). We said ok the beers were set on top of the ice not in the ice she took the one beer fron previous and set it on the table. The game started and it was now halftime . The designated driver went to the bar and ordered apptizers. Then my other friend wanted another drink not a bucket so he went to the bar and got one.. There is more of the same service thrioughout are stay. Then t when we were done then they became attentive and talkative friendly because it was time to tip, After paying and tipping for bad service we were talking went to the rest room and seen the lunch special on the board Matador for 7 dollars so I ordered one and my firiend ordered a cinnamon roll. The wait was at least 10 min for a special no big deal right well I got my food and bill they charged me 11 dollars for the 7 dollar lunch I told the waitress it was on the board at 7 she said it was over with and off the board she kept arguing and I told her I wasn't arguing wiht her she kept it up . So leaving she went ahead of me and had the special board under her arm. Would never go back and taked to others outside smoking and they said it is the norm for the service there. Save your hard earned money for a real waitress not one that thinks because she has the title of waitress she is tip worthy./. read more

This place is relaxed sports bar with a bunch of flat screens for watching anything sport related. The bartenders and the casino attendants are nice and easy-going.
