The food is always great with great prices. The service is local and very nice and respectful with how many people go in there a night. They do their best to make sure everyone is taking care of. Our evening hike kept us on the trail later than expected, so we ditched plans to make chili back at the cabin and went out. This place had the best Yelps, so we gave it a shot. As usual, Yelpers know the score. The name suggests something kind of divey, or geared toward the jello shot crowd (no offense), but it's a very comfy, well kept neighborhood bar. We were waited on quickly after sitting down. When we had questions about one of the beers on the menu (about 20 drafts, most of them Michigan crafts), our server brought us a generous sample and, shortly thereafter, two pints of the same. For food, my wife got a hamburger and I ordered the french dip. Her burger was decent, not the best or the worst, but satisfying definitely. My french dip was good as well. The meat was very thinly sliced, a bit lunchmeaty, but had good flavor and was piled high on the bun. The jus for dipping was overly salty, though that's a problem at many places. Elsewhere, I've paid more for this item and gotten less, so I left happy. If it's a bar-and-grill experience you're looking for in Cadillac, this will do ya. read more

The party lounge is a great place to meet a friend for a cheap night out. The burgers are big, messy and good. I especially like the Viking Burger- a typical bacon cheeseburger. There are lots of fried food options on the menu as well. They have over 20 beers on tap: a great selection at a good price. But they have no beer menu?! It drives me nuts that they can't even provide a list of their beers. When I asked, they told me to just look at the taps. It seems like a bar should have a beer menu. read more

Half the bartenders are extremely rude, half are great, the table service waitresses seem great. the bartender on 08/11/24 was extremely rude and unprofessional when I had brought my concerns to her attention and then she proceeded to get mad at me for talking to another patron when she overheard our conversation. She not only told me I was wrong for my own thoughts, but told me as I was speaking to my own partner that I was wrong. (she had nothing to do with the conversation at all) She then proceeded to tell me that I could leave whenever, so I asked to pay my tab and I'd be out. She then told me to go f*** myself, and I wasn't allowed to pay for my dinner and drinks, and to get out immediately. Ok, free food and drinks, fine by me, see ya crazy lady. After being treated with such disrespect, needless to say, I won't be returning here again. This is your traditional hometown family bar and restaurant. They have free popcorn, cold drinks and wonderful food. There are volumes of big screen TVs on the wall to watch the games. This is not fancy or fine dining but it is good. Specials - Monday night a burger and a beer for $5 and Wednesday a smaller steak with salad and potato for $5. Hard to beat those deals. Saturday night they grill steaks over a charcoal grill - great flavor. Good place for value. read more

My wife and I were scoping out a sports bar to watch the Orange Bowl game. We decided to check this place out and had lunch. Not a bad place, not too big, not too small but comfy. I had the french dip, very good. My wife had the perch dinner, she said it was good. I have to take her word for it. Cal was our server/bartender, he was very nice. They have a decent beer selection on tap. We will cone back to watch Michigan win the Orange Bowl tonight. Maybe i can give an extra star. read more

Normally I have always thought the food was good, however tonight the food was aweful. The service from Jessica was OUTSTANDING, they offered all you can eat fish and shrimp as Thier special.My husband only ordered it really because of the shrimp , then to be told on his first reorder they were out of the shrimp was not good. The rest of us ordered steaks. Another bad call. We ordered them Med and med rare. They were raw the first time and actually cool to the touch. Jessica took care of them right away and when we got them back they were at least warm. Looked like they had some young and very inexperienced cooks. Came here on a whim when I had a weekend at the cottage to myself. It's nice to see a bar owner tending bar and striking up conversation with the patrons. The bar staff was very friendly, the atmosphere welcoming, and the hot wings ( I ordered extra hot, the owner said he makes the sauce, were really really good!!) Had 8 people for burgers one of our burgers finally served after everyone was done eating. Waitress kept apologizing but still serving burgers to other tables that were ordered way after ours. No offer for discount. Onion. Rings were charged $1 more than menu price when questioned she said she would check but never clarified correct price. Just brought change back with the higher charge being used. We have been here many times and never had any problems but this particular night was very disappointing especially since we brought visiting family with us and had told them it was one of our favorite go to places. In the middle of my dinner they made me move tables if I wanted to continue to watch the game that I was watching, otherwise they said I would have to watch what they were changing. If you want a burger in Cadillac, this is the place to go! The Mexican is edible and tasty, if not authentic. You're served a bowl of popcorn to pass the time (and increase the thirst...) and the staff are all friendly. But, to get back to the burgers. They have a selection, but the most highly recommendable are the Viking Burger, which is an amazing traditional bacon cheeseburger, and the Sticky Burger, which is anything but traditional, what with its barbecue sauce, peanut butter and bacon. It's very surprisingly delicious! They also have various entertainments - a jukebox, billiards table, club keno, and pull tabs. It has fun, sporty decor to blend with the traditional beer posters. However, I found the food selection to be a little odd and the menu is not very appealing . The bar has a great sports decor and a great beverage selection.
