Not wanting much for dinner, I got a cup of French Onion Soup. It was pretty good but if I were to be totally honest, my brother in-laws's recipe is a bit better. I was part of a pretty big group and our waitress, Donna, did very well with all of our orders. While in Cadillac for a kid's hockey tournament we were starving and Curlys was in our hotel. I'm not typically a fan of hotel restaurants but I was impressed with the quality of food they produced. We took it to go so we could eat in our room without masks on, the food was still hot, fries were crispy, and they gave more than enough condiments, flatware, and napkins. Not a 5 star white tablecloth experience but if you need quick, well prepared food, this is significantly better than most sit down chain restaurants. My only advice would be to raise their prices. Their appetizers and sides are way to cheap for the portion size. read more

I ordered a pizza about 8 minutes before close. They made the pizza with "heart and soul" and it shows. The staff was friendly even though it was almost closing time and they were cleaning up. They were down to the last 2 crusts but I made it just in time. The fact that they had only 2 crusts left should be a testimonial about the pizza as much as this review. The crust is fluffy with an crunchy bottom layer. The sauce is superb, and what I would consider the perfect amount. Not too sweet, not too spicy. Toppings are spaced well and seem to be of high quality. This is not a thin crust, but a deep satisfying crust that adds another depth to the flavor of sauce, cheese and toppings. I would suggest a side of ranch to dip the crust in. I ate it plain and it was good but I think some ranch would have rounded it out nicely. Overall the experience was excellent. I gave it 5 stars because you can tell there was care put into the preparation of this pizza. Yea, it's just a pizza, but for me this was the reason I will be back. read more

Can't really review food because service was so terrible that we waited 20 minutes with not even an acknowledgement that we existed. Had to go to the bar to order a drink and then after another 20 minutes of no service had to go back to the bar to pay my tab so I could get out of the place legally. read more

It's attached to a hotel, so what do you expect? Well you better expect good food! Full bar (I didn't get to try) and good karaoke. Not too loud, so you can still think & chat while it goes on. It's not huge. That's nice too. You can charge the food to your room, and take drinks and food with you to the room too. Sweet potato fries. Thank you very much. Headed North and stopped here on a whim. Average sports bar inside. We sat at the bar as we usually do. Great craft beer selection on tap and in bottles. Thursday was AYCE ribs so I had to try it. Ribs were very good. They fell off the bone and not fatty. Three sauces were offered on them. My wife ordered the pizza. House made and hand tossed crust. It was excellent . When we walked into Curly's I have to admit that we did not expect much. The decor is your average sports pub environment and there was quite a bit of popcorn lying on the ground around the tables. However we were pleasantly surprised with the service and food. We were staying at the resort so we ended up eating here both Friday and Saturday night of our stay. Friday night we enjoyed the fish fry and some burgers. The fish fry is not greasy at all and quite tasty, as are the burgers. However our french fries were quite cold by the time they reached our table. Saturday we shared some appetizers and pizza. The pulled pork tacos are delicious. I don't know what they put in their black beans but they are so so good. The pizza was decent but nothing we were blown away by. Typical sports bar, come as-is from your outdoor sports adventure! We had friendly service and excellent cocktails! While there are vegetarian options available, vegans must be quite creative, but we are used to that- and then you can stay well-fed for the weekend. I was thankful for the hummus wrap, which I picked apart and ordered undressed. (It was really tasty!)
