Cafe Arnone is a great place for coffee And gelato. I've been here about three times now and have nothing but great things to talk about the coffee and just recently had a gelato which was excellent. I was able to sample fall flavors and there's a lot of station. My only comment is that for the flight of gelato it's quite expensive given the amount of gelato that you get... these are extra extra small scoops. Their coffee's are great as well as a chai tea however I'm not too fond of the Matcha, and that could be that I grew up eating my chest so there's a preparation style when it comes to quality and taste that I look for. The food is OK but not my favorite I would skip on food and stick with what they do best. read more

The coffee and sandwiches and bowls are excellent but don't be in a hurry because most of the time I've had to wait 5 min for my latte and additional 5 or 10 for the breakfast sandwich. I used to go through the drive thru and felt badly for holding up the line. Now I go inside and wait to the side. Staff aren't friendly but if I had to guess, I'd say it is because they might be stressed due to being understaffed (?). Outside seating is great as well as the main dining area with a bar. Desserts could be a bit more fresh. All in all I prefer this place over the chains. read more

A cute and modern place to grab coffee and a quick breakfast. We tried the honey latte and a hazelnut pistachio Americano which was to die for. The brioche egg sandwich (we added bacon) was made to order with fresh ingredients and the cranberry orange muffin was incredible. Affogato my wife had was mind blowing, fresh and delicious way to have cold espresso gelato. Mocha I had was also good. Ambiance is contemporary modern feel. Place was not crowded or noisy on Monday. Definitely much better than any Starbucks in the area. Enough parking space. Very upscale feel without being pricy. I would choose here over any Starbucks any day. Will be back to try rest of the drinks. I tried the first breakfast from their good menu pita, italian sausage, egg...not very fund of food menu here so far, hence 4 star. This couldn't have been further from an Italian coffee bar. The layout is nice and there is space. You are greeted with the smell of food rather than coffee when walking in. Their salads aren't any better than the ones at giant eagle. I ordered a Mediterranean salad with chicken and will leave you to look at the photos because a picture is worth more than 1000 words. As you will see the presentation is awful. They use a cheap plastic bowl instead of a plate, which is counterintuitive to sustainability- which they try to preserve by reusing metal utensils (that are of different shapes and sizes. The salad tastes stale and doesn't have a crunchy texture- go across the street to Panera or giant eagle if you're trying to have a good salad Employees are very kind however which is a plus. Stopped by on a whim. Drive thru is a huge plus! I saw on their website that they offered a breakfast sandwich and fall drink combo for $7.50. Sandwich is simple and delicious! The maple blondie latte is piping hot and just the right amount of sweet and foamy. And this maple bacon scone. Holy Hannah! Crunchy, sweet, salty, with large chunks of bacon. 5/5 stars! I have to be honest I didn't expect much. BUT WAS I WRONG! We wanted pizza for dinner and figured we would try this place. If you want something different you have to try the LA MADRE pizza. I had to convince my husband to try this pizza made with a fig jam, sliced red grapes, walnuts, blue cheese, balsamic glaze drizzle OMG GOOD!! We also had the MARGHERITA pizza, also very very good. I stopped in for coffee and decided to try Arnone's version of a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese had several different kinds of cheese with some tomatoes and came on a pita. The was an option for a side of apple slices. It all was delicious. The coffee, food and service were all great. The only thing that concerned me is their building not being able to get in my cellular data. I was trying to do some work and there was a consistent lag. Found my new favorite cafe hotspot, ya'll! As one who has left the international access of a metro city to reside in Copley, I was excited to check this place out. I feared it would be yet another blah, midwestern chain restaurant (the eating scene sucks horribly), however, I am enamored​ to say that it is nice reprieve from the typical Akron eatery/cafe experience. No offense Starbuck's, but I miss my favorite Lavazza Cafe in Chicago dearly! Apart from everyone being friendly, it made my heart happy to hear the jovial sound of Italian being spoken. Love the open layout with the marble counters and the black and white photography along the walls. Can't wait for the summer when the patio will be open for dining al fresco. I love Cafe Arnone and am so sad they've had to temporarily suspend in-cafe dining. Fortunately takeout and the drive through is open! They're a wonderful addition to the area. Wonderful relaxing Sunday dinner! We ordered one of the cafe's new pasta dinners for 4-6 people to have after getting home from a long, busy weekend moving our child home from college. The rigatoni with marinara sauce, meatballs (on the side), salad and delicious bread were so welcome and appreciated! I am not the biggest fan of Starbucks, so I adventured to try Cafe Arnone. I became instantly hooked - like for real. Their Carmel latte is so delicious I crave it. Their food is good too - I recommend the antipasto salad. The food is a little pricey, but for a salad $8 is relatively average. I love going in and just enjoying my Carmel latte while reading. Really like cafe Arnone's location and set up inside. Its clean and the staff is pretty friendly.However, there isn't much seating and it would be nice if the outdoor area was utilized in a way that is conducive to the weather for hot sunny days there are umbrella's and cold windy days there are heaters or a shield from the wind, since we are in NE Ohio, etc... In today's world people love to meet in coffee shops and I'm not asking for a super Walmart version but it would be nice to not always be searching for a spot to sit during prime time. I went to Café Arnone for the first time tonight. I tend to frequent coffee shops in the area (or any area, really). I'm not pretentious, but I do care a lot about really high quality coffee. I also had somewhat low expectations going in. Part of this is probably because of other bad experiences I've had with Italian espresso bars that tend to focus on branding over content. I walked in and was VERY pleasantly surprised. The place was designed well. It's very open. It feels nice, clean and yet still cozy. I went in for a dessert because I wanted something sweet and had one of the best custard donuts I've had in a while. When I ordered my coffee, the cashier had no idea what was brewed currently (minor hiccup... we all have them), but it was corrected quickly by someone else (a co-owner, I later found out) handing me a booklet with a TON of information on the coffee I was drinking, where it was sourced, flavor profiles, etc. I hesitantly ordered the South American brew, despite usually trending towards African varieties. I took a sip and was pleasantly surprised by how great it was. Better than Nervous Dog (who tends to over-roast some bras, slightly) and in a different league as Starbucks. This is one of the first coffee shops (the only coffee shop around here) that could be a major contender for my all-time coffee shop: George Howell Coffee in Boston, MA. It's a great local place. I'm excited they're here. I hesitate to even mention how good they are because I don't want people stealing the comfy white chair I'm going to sit in all day and work out of. (One minor thing I don't see listed anywhere: they have a meeting room you can borrow/reserve that can sit ~12 people in.) read more

My review is from the perspective of a Starbucks black coffee, normal everyday guy that wears more jeans than skinny jeans. When I order Starbucks, I ask for a medium Pike and refuse to use their names for sizes. Those of you left reading, I like this place as it gives Akron something different than Starbucks, Panera or Nervous Dog. The coffee was good, not that I'd know an African blend with citrus mist from a South American organic but I can taste fresh, well made coffee served at a good temperature. I enjoyed the decor and seating was ample. There was the typical noise of a coffee bar but no different than Starbucks and less so than other local coffee shops. The staff was pleasant and attentive. All in all, a nice addition to our community. I'll be back to try the gelato and food plus another fresh cup of coffee. read more
