Had to come back to this spot twice within a week, so delicious!! Best banana latte I have ever had. Staff is always friendly and bagels are always fresh. Turkey apple brie was soooo delicious, did not expect it to be as good as it was. The apple butter is such a nice touch. Everything bagel was soft, not tough and had the perfect amount of seasoning. My only complaint is the bacon tastes like not good quality but I will stick to schmears or the lunch sandwich's!! Will be back, my new favorite breakfast & coffee. read more

We stopped here for a quick breakfast before we got on the road and it was a nice surprise! The bagels and hash browns are fantastic. I got a drip coffee and my wife ordered an iced mocha, which were both great. I likely would've ordered what she got if I had the hindsight into how good it was. The service was great. The bagels here taste great but, for the price you pay for a bagel they are small and very tough. Feels like they are cutting the roof of my mouth. Have also had experiences where the servers were confused or not being professional. But overall the coffee is great and the taste of the food is good. read more

I came here with my husband while visiting our old stomping grounds. This was where the Starbucks used to be when we went to school. It remained pretty similar inside with a good bit of space and tables. I got the iced mocha which was fabulous. My husband got plain black coffee which sadly he said had an odd flavor. We both got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and split a side of hash browns. The hashbrowns were a little bland. We both loved our sandwich but it was a little dry, maybe I would add cream cheese or something next time. Overall, the staff was nice and the bagels were good! read more

Right next to Kent State campus this is a good spot to get a bagel and a drink. Bagels are good and they have a variety of flavors. Service is friendly and quick. Downstairs is a little loud and there is a flow of customers coming and going. If you want something a little more quiet try the upstairs sitting area. Okay this will only appeal to a small audience but this place has great napkins. I hate little, cheap, nearly useless napkins. Owner, don't get rid of these napkins save money somewhere else. read more

Great bagel sandwiches, the bagels are so good and there are a lot of options so there is something for everyone. Very cool spot, cool decor and love the upstairs seating. Service was very nice and our food was made very quick. Cleveland Bagel is a great place to get a bagel on the go or something more unique to the region. The most popular bagel I have found is the Rosemary Sea Salt bagel but be forewarned there is only a handful of choices to choose from. I enjoy getting a dozen bagels and 2 tubs of schmear when I have company at my house for an easy breakfast with decent prices. My only complaint is that their breakfast sandwiches don't have any meat options, only vegan sausage. It would be nice to see some new flavors in the future, maybe something sweet like a cinnamon crunch bagel. One thing unique about their bagels is that they have a crunchy tough outside and are soft and chewy on the inside more similar to something from New York City rather than Panera. Ordering is super easy, just order at the counter and they will have it ready quickly. Seat yourself by one of the tables at the big windows and watch the world go by or go upstairs to the cozy reading nook to enjoy your bagels and coffee. One thing to note is that the restaurant itself is ADA accessible but the building is an old historic building and there is only stairs to get up there. read more

Stopped in on a visit to Kent State and was looking for a quiet spot to grab a bagel and coffee. 2 out of 3 accomplished - quiet spot for working and a decent cup of joe. The bagel sandwich (egg, cheese) on plain left a lot to be desired. The egg was processed or at least appeared to be so and the cheese was bland. Bagel seemed a little crunchy for my likely as I tend more towards New York style but that's a preference. I do recommend upstairs if you are looking for more quiet comfort and I may be back but would limit to just a cup of coffee. read more

Bagel was crunchy on the outside and soft inside; smoked salmon tasted like it was swimming 10 minutes ago; just enough cream cheese and a fresh tomato with just enough capers! Bagels and sandwiches are delicious. Coffee can be great. Employees aren't very friendly or honest. If the coffee isn't fresh don't say yes and then go to dispense it and the urn is empty! No apologies as I wait, and then only to find it's suuuppeerrrr strong when they hand me a cup, again with no apology. The empty aluminum cream carafe is literally stuck to the table, sitting in a pool of old, spilled cream so I ask for new creamer. Visibly annoyed, the employee hands me an unopened quart of creamer and promptly takes it away as I stir. I ask for it back please as the coffee is super dark and she tells me the coffee brews evenly, so there's no way I have extra strong coffee, as I see the machine still brewing and no amount of cream will help.
